You're invited to dinner with Lewis Hamilton, what's the first thing you're asking him?

MotoGP star Pedro Acosta picked Lewis Hamilton as the sporting legend he would love to have dinner with

i_far_i62d ago

Why didn't and why do you still not go HAM (hard as a motherf***er) on the FIA, Michael Masi, and the F1 media, after they broke the 'rules', blatantly robbed you and condoned the theft of your 8th WDC at the now infamous Abu Dubious GP in 2021?

Charles Leclerc has never won more than three Grands Prix in a season 🏆 Predict how many he will take in 2026?

creoleviking781d ago

Yes Charles is the future of Ferrari..2026, He is in Sir Lewis Hamilton School, were it not for Sir Lewis Hamilton..The Brand would revert to 2025 standards. Ralf mentioned 9 races won by LeClerc should supersede SLH'S 106 wins, absolutely ridiculous 7x 🏆🥇 less than -0-championships currently By House Driver.

kyle.archer88d ago

While Ferrari are now showing they are capable of taking the fight to Mercedes, Charles Leclerc may be facing another season with at most three Grand Prix wins to his name.

How long will Lewis Hamilton’s run of finishing every Grand Prix lap last?

matth73d ago

As they say, with each race there is always an element of ‘roll of the dice’ Without a crystal ball it’s impossible with so many variables at play. Impressive so far though!

wilsonjimwilson87d ago

Haven't really seen any reliability problems for Ferrari yet this year. If that continues he could go on for a long time. Or he could get punted into the gravel next week. Who knows?

kyle.archer88d ago

[DELETED] If you are thinking short-term, then there would be no better driver to sign than Lewis Hamilton now that he has found his mojo again. But if you are thinking long-term, you would have to look at Andrea Kimi Antonelli or Max Verstappen (despite the baggage that he comes with and the ongoing question marks concerning his racecraft in genuine battles

Where does Lewis Hamilton rank on the current Formula 1 grid?

masternoah5784d ago

For all time, he’s 1st. For right now, I’d probably put Max ahead of him, just because he is in his prime years. I think Kimi can reach both Lewis and Max’s levels but I thinks some cracks are starting to show. Granted, there have been reliability issues, he’s won only 1 of the 4 European races this season, which makes me wonder if he’s there yet.

dav.daddy87d ago

To win right now I don't think there's anyone else I'd rather have. Max is as bad in these cars as Lewis was in the last ones. Thinking long term you'd be a fool not to take Antonelli. He's had the better of Russell most if not every weekend and he's still improving.

What went wrong for Ferrari at the Austrian Grand Prix?

rachelcoxall28594d ago

Ralph has alot to say about lewis is one jealous of the success that he's achieved

fogclimber199897d ago

Ask Loic Serra.

david.comerford98d ago

A lot of things, but mainly I need to see them prove they can compete on power sensitive tracks. If they can't do that soon the title race is over

Which Ferrari driver has the edge on pure SPEED?

boyscotty40488d ago

Leclerc aint got ish on Sir Lewis,in all his life history with Ferrari he has 9 wins, last win was 2024 b4 Silverstone,Charles couldn't lace hammys boots...stop all this crazy talk faster over 1 lap (sometimes)

♥ 2

i_far_i94d ago

What was it the old Pirelli ads would state? "Power is nothing without control." Lewis has great car control. Charles does not...N.uff said.

♥ 1

smiddypix102d ago

Over one lap i would say charles as his natural younger reflexes serve him well. But in the race, lewis has better race craft and though that isn't pace on its own, it amounts to better results. Fewer crashes, fewer incidents, and better overtakes than charles, who can sometimes be impatient and emotional when wanting to get past someone.

Lewis Hamilton is now only missing a Grand Prix pole position for Ferrari 🏆 Predict when it will come?

bobbyj5516d ago

🤔 It won't Ferrari is biased towards lecler, they were last season and this season as well.

Silverstone. After 8bwins there, lewis knows this track like the back of his hands. Definitely pole there #️⃣4️⃣4️⃣

What is the BIGGEST reason for Lewis Hamilton's turnaround at Ferrari this year?

bobbyj5516d ago

He's using his own car setup, not something based off of lecler's setup.

masternoah57109d ago

New regs + him having a big say in developing car means that it caters to his driving style. Once you allow that, he’ll Winn for you

♥ 1

glenmoraydrinker109d ago

The Goat is back. Ferrari have listen to what Lewis wanted and given him a great race engineer he can work with. Don’t change race engineers now. Lewis is happy and with a car that’s improving every race Lewis Hamilton will be on the Top podium again. It’s great seeing Lewis Hamilton at his best again.

Are we seeing proof that Lewis Hamilton is transforming Ferrari like Michael Schumacher did?

ahambly23113d ago

It definitely feels that way. If he continues to have his way, I have no doubts that Ferrari's title drought will end soon.

elizablackstock114d ago

I think it's too early to say definitively re: Hamilton's impact on Ferrari. It is a relief that he feels like the team is listening to his feedback now and taking it in stride!

kyle.archer114d ago

Lewis Hamilton saw straight away that Ferrari had "every ingredient" to win again, but it also quickly became clear that things had to change in Maranello - just as they did at the start of Michael Schumacher's era in red - and only now are those changes coming to the fore.

What would Lewis Hamilton beating Charles Leclerc at 41 do for his F1 legacy?

creoleviking780d ago

Crazy work, the outsider watching/ not communicating SF-2025, House Driver LeClerc "I got Me.". To date Sir Lewis Hamilton, Brand Driver has/is expected to grow "Ferrari 1st." House Driver's Silverstone win manufactured by grooming & overriding Brand Driver expertise in building Winning 🏆🥇 Units 8 times..'The Principal is closer to...What? 9 Career Wins.

aaditya.krishnamurthy115d ago

I'm not sure it does much outside of make the case for his longevity, something that's not as talked about in the GOAT arguments in Formula 1 compared to other sports. I love Charles and I think highly of him but he's not won a championship, so Hamilton beating him as a teammate AND winning a title will do much more for his legacy.

david.comerford115d ago

I know people will say his legacy is already secure, but beating one of the best drivers of the next generation at this stage of his career would be a pretty phenomenal achievement

Predict at which race Lewis Hamilton will take his first Ferrari Grand Prix win?

matth110d ago

Barcelona

aaditya.krishnamurthy115d ago

I'm going to say it'll happen before the summer break, but I can't pinpoint which race exactly. He's done well at Barcelona though, so maybe this weekend? 👀

david.comerford115d ago

Looking at Monaco, I'm not sure if Ferrari can win on pure pace this year. That means they need luck, which isn't necessarily track-dependent. Based on the ADUO findings, it's probably not going to a power circuit like Spa or Monza though

Lewis Hamilton believes he's got what it takes to win the 2026 championship🏆 How do you rate his chances?

matth110d ago

Good as long as things continue as they are

walkercharlie828118d ago

The biggest thing working against him is the quality of his teammate. He has to compete with Charles for points in a way Max didn't have to worry about last year

aaditya.krishnamurthy118d ago

He’s got a decent shot for sure, but a lot needs to go his way and go against Kimi to make this happen. I’d love to see my GOAT winning #8 though

If Charles Leclerc wasn't a Ferrari driver, which F1 team would you like to see him at?

Mercedes is the team where I would want to see Leclerc who is an amazing talent but has been let down by Ferrari for so long that I gave up supporting him when he signed another contract with the clowns of Maranello..

I think McLaren or Redbull, I’m not sure whether re signing with Ferrari was a good decision, I feel like he needs a new environment but hey what do I know.

What is Charles Leclerc's BEST win in Formula 1? 🏆

marcus.chan122d ago

Has to be his Monaco victory in 2024!

david.comerford123d ago

Monza 2019. To win that race for Ferrari in your first season shows you're a special talent, especially given how strong Mercedes were that year

ahambly23123d ago

The first one, at Spa. Considering everything that happened that weekend, it's unbelievable that he found the strength to get in the car and win the race.

After signing a new deal, will Charles Leclerc retire as a Ferrari driver?

ryancorrigan33123d ago

rebecca.braybrook124d ago

I think Leclerc is so entwined with Ferrari that it seems hard to imagine him leaving the team before his F1 career ends! Although it's rare, I can't see him moving!

vatsal124d ago

Charles has Stockholm Syndrome😭

tyler.rowlinson124d ago

Slightly surprised, seeing as he already had a deal until 2029. But I guess it should have been expected. Ferrari is Charles' team, and Charles is Ferrari's golden boy. It's a partnership that will likely never end

david.comerford124d ago

I'm slightly surprised, because he signed a long-term deal in 2024. But it feels like it's designed to send a message

Are the retirement rumours surrounding Lewis Hamilton justified, or unfair to his legacy?

rebecca.braybrook135d ago

I think they're justified as people are wondering how long he can keep racing! We see the same happening with Fernando! But he is clearly showing that he is still loving what he's doing!

harvey.leonard136d ago

Always going to be rumors at this point in his career, especially when he's not near the top of the charts

jonny136d ago

I think it’s pretty normal, he’s clearly a little bit off the pace of the leaders these days… have to think his days at Ferrari will be numbered though, could still compete lower down the charts.

Should Ferrari expect Lewis Hamilton to be closer to Charles Leclerc by now?

bobbyj5516d ago

He's better than lecler right now, one if the reasons lecler races Hamilton the way that he does, not to mention the fact that he signed a multi year extension but doesn't have anything to justify it.

masternoah57130d ago

Closer? Ahead more like!

fogclimber1998139d ago

John Elkann thought Lewis Hamilton would be magic in the Ferrari. Not working out so far. If Hamilton finally decides to retire from F1. Ferrari can bring Ollie Bearman to the team. I like that possibility.

When will Lewis Hamilton retire from Formula 1?

bobbyj5516d ago

When the opportunity to drive for a winning team isn't available.

♥ 1

mandeville19191995d ago

A eI think after his last few races finishing up second twice then wining, Ferrari had a clause to increase his time there from the second year. The sensible knowledgeable people know that Hamilton always when racing in a new car, is never good in the first season he his discovering the new car. The second season Hamilton is more knowledgeable about the car

davidmacfie195795d ago

Lewis will stay into the 2030s. As first and foremost a racer, the next evolution must interest him... V8 lightweight cars, little or no battery, around 1200 bhp will keep him in the mix... And depending on performance, who wouldn't sign him up? A team player, at least... Might just be given a 3 year extension by Ferrari, car holding him back!!

No stick with Vasseur,He seems to get on well with Lewis+Charles and he's trying to get this Ferrari to be able to win races, Right now I would put Mercedes in front of Ferrari by 3-5 10ths,If they can manage even to get half that and with the new macarena wing you just never know.Next race is still ages away because of this damn war, Anyway good luk Ferrari

davidmacfie1957168d ago

Simply put... It's what combo of a lot of possibilities will be most effective... I believe the new rear wing, with new active aero, and new deployment and harvesting regs, may crack the season wide open, but I also think there's a lot of variations, and it's just hitting the right combo... We can but hope...
