What are your thoughts on Charles Leclerc signing a new Ferrari contract?

Charles has Stockholm Syndrome😭

Slightly surprised, seeing as he already had a deal until 2029. But I guess it should have been expected. Ferrari is Charles' team, and Charles is Ferrari's golden boy. It's a partnership that will likely never end

I'm slightly surprised, because he signed a long-term deal in 2024. But it feels like it's designed to send a message

Feels like it was always going to happen! Ferrari now need to give him a competitive car to finally fight for an F1 title!

It seems rather early for Charles Leclerc to sign a new contract, given his previous deal was due to run until 2029 anyway. But the Monegasque is at home at Ferrari and could easily spend the rest of his career in Maranello.

The drought for Ferrari can't go on for much longer, can it? I'm sure he'll eventually be in contention for a title, it just remains to be seen whether he will be the Ferrari driver to win it or not...
