Ferrari never gave Hamilton a car on par with Charles', that's the dirty hand at play here. Give both drivers the exact same spec car then you'll see Hamilton leave le clerc in a hail of dust! This is the BIG difference between Mercedes and Ferrari and why Mercedes WILL win the F1 title with one of its drivers....their cars are equally specced!

Sure, but then they also risk losing Charles to a rival team, and that'll be bad for them long term, especially because even though he's showing signs of future greatness, Bearman isn't going to be ready to be next to Charles, let alone replace him, for at least a few more years.

Lewis might be back in the mix again, but Ferrari have a clear number one driver in Charles Leclerc. There's no way they prioritise Lewis over him unless the gulf between the two is so massive come the end of the season.

Doesn't need to be "massive". If Lewis is ahead in points and it a choice between Lewis and George, Ferrari is going to want to beat Mercedes at all cost.
