How has your opinion of Max Verstappen changed over the years?
aaronmcfairlane61d ago
Still a bit of a loose canon at times but i think hes matured a lot since having a new replacement in managing him
orca09dyfgh79d ago
Lestappen on my news feed? I've been blessed 🥹
rebecca.braybrook79d ago
I definitely think I've warmed to him as his matured in the last couple of years! Like many drivers he has his moments that can be a little frustrating! I love how he's taken the recent rookies under his wing and he's become a little more personable!
Why do you think Max Verstappen is refusing to commit to Red Bull for 2027?
aaronmcfairlane61d ago
Max knows hes dragged that car with all its problems and i think hes had enough with all the changes
spanky016775d ago
There is a saying, don't crap where you sleep. Jos did exactly that, Max is one of the elite drivers but is no more special than the other elites. Kimis run has show this. MB will have to fight to keep Kimi cause I am sure the red team will be calling...an Italian driver in the Italian team... have to go back to the Albarteto days
ahambly2380d ago
He's obviously annoyed at all the questioning, but it's his own fault for letting it drag on for so long.

How has your view of Sergio Perez's Red Bull career changed in the past couple of years?
aaronmcfairlane61d ago
It reminds me of the benneton days where Schumacher had everything and herbert played second fiddle
aaditya.krishnamurthy83d ago
He didn't get enough credit for how strong of a second driver he was for Red Bull. I think Lawson and Tsunoda's struggles only made him look better, but Hadjar settling into the role has shown that it doesn't take otherworldly driving to get the most out of the role.
david.comerford83d ago
This argument stands up until you see what Hadjar is doing this season...

If you were Max Verstappen, would you stay at Red Bull or move on?
Verstappen has been linked with McLaren, but could also retire or take a sabbatical
aaronmcfairlane61d ago
If anything i would be looking at George Russells seat if i was max im confident Ferrari would be a bad move
czechfog183681d ago
Stay for 2027. The entire field is learning on the run right now. Yes, RBR is behind, but they know how to improve.
gm8mzntvz484d ago
Considering his options. Add the fact the cars all have the same regs so that will not change no matter what team he goes to F1. He should wait it out for the changes that are coming, if he decides to stay in F1. Or force change at RedBull. Otherwise. Leave and go drive WEC or GT3 in the summer months and then go drive FORMULA-E in the new Gen4 cars.

What will Max Verstappen's disastrous British Grand Prix mean for his relationship with Red Bull?
czechfog183681d ago
I am curious why Hadjar does not suffer from the same issue. what are the two drivers doing differently?
examinationdepartmentuslls89d ago
The Mercedes CEO & Max Verstappen told this dude about contract negotiations? These clowns write anything based on their assumptions.
david.comerford91d ago
I'm not even just saying this to be dramatic, but the dynamic has definitely changed this weekend. Verstappen's demeanour is alarming. You could tell something was wrong from his pre-race interview about the team denying him a pit-lane start

How should Red Bull have handled Christian Horner's sacking? 🤔
aaronmcfairlane61d ago
By text saying well done robbing lewis of his 8th title your services are no longer required your last pay cheque is in the post with the bonus from abu dabi
wilsonjimwilson90d ago
Horner got what he deserved after the way he treated Liam Lawson. A karmic firing if ever there was one. Not to mention the way he treated his other employees before that! The man has nothing to complain about.
♥ 1
aaditya.krishnamurthy91d ago
Given the nature of the situation, Horner is actually lucky he got as much time as he did, Red Bull looked ready to part ways at the end of 2024!

What is Isack Hadjar's ceiling as an F1 driver?
sbowen195246d ago
Well I for one thought Isaak would put some pressure on Max. Not beat him, just be quite close. I was wrong. The stats flatter to deceive. Division 1 cars are so much better than Division 2 cars this year that the eighth slowest car will finish 8th every time, all things being equal.
aaronmcfairlane61d ago
Got the talent just not the car
czechfog183681d ago
Definitely too soon to tell. We would learn more if Max leaves the team. Like Bearman and Bortoleto, we need to see more. None of them are in the car that Antonelli has. I still think Antonelli is a rare talent, but there may be others.

What would Liam Lawson have achieved if he was given more time at Red Bull?
tonethegroan6455d ago
Gunther Steiner used to be a fun watch but this year he is simply throwing his name away. It's like he suddenly knows nothing about F1. His silly show is just silly. Liam is the real deal. Liam could easily have folded but rather has got stronger despite idiots like Steiner

aaronmcfairlane61d ago
Just the same, play back up to max and put up and shut up
5719spook61d ago
Stupid to say he "failed" last year in RedBull. He moved up to 7th in his 1st race in the rain at Melbourne on slicks, before sliding off the track(along with several others), struggled in China on a track he hadn't raced at before, and they kicked him because Honda paid $10 mill to promote Yuki at his home race

You're in charge of a Red Bull rival, how much would you offer Max Verstappen for 2027?
Ralf Schumacher claims Mercedes' offer is "so bad" financially
czechfog183681d ago
I am not Red Bull. My team is not built for and around Max. $20 million.
marcus.chan107d ago
Anything he wants! He is the best driver out there!
ahambly23107d ago
Oof, I think you just have to give him a blank chequebook. Verstappen is a proven world champion and team leader, if he has the patience, he could turn any team into title-winners.

How much are Red Bull MISSING Adrian Newey right now?
aaronmcfairlane61d ago
Floorboards are suspect since leaving red bull but now the floorboards are fine at AM but the power unit as flopped
tyler.rowlinson112d ago
Red Bull's engine department, according to the FIA at least, has done wonders without Newey. But they are struggling without his expertise with the rest of the car. Then again,, Newey does need to be questioned for his nightmare start at Aston Martin
♥ 1
aaditya.krishnamurthy112d ago
I think both of them needed each other more than they cared to admit, and we're seeing that now. But if Newey wasn't happy at Red Bull, he made the right choice to leave, even if things at Aston Martin aren't great.

Isack Hadjar has already beaten Yuki Tsunoda's 2025 points tally! Where does he rank among Max Verstappen's Red Bull teammates?
tyler.rowlinson118d ago
He's already better than Lawson, Gasly and Tsunoda, but he's not on Perez and Ricciardo's level just yet. I've got high hopes for Isack though
♥ 1
jamesshearman23118d ago
The best! Ricciardo might be the most overrated driver ever. Big smile tax.

Which Max Verstappen move deserved a HARSHER penalty? 👮♂️
He's been involved in some controversial incidents over the years
aaronmcfairlane61d ago
Where do you start ?
david.comerford125d ago
The Russell incident in Spain. He was very, very lucky to get away with just a 10s penalty (plus points) for that one, in my opinion

Tell us the moment you realised Max Verstappen was different 👽
aaronmcfairlane61d ago
Sometimes i see a little senna in him its a race and ill win it at any cost
aaditya.krishnamurthy129d ago
His win in Spain in 2016. It wasn't just him winning, but how Max won that showed the world that he was an all-time great!
ahambly23130d ago
*That* save at the 2016 Brazilian GP always springs to mind for me. Absolutely thought he was a goner until he spun it back around.

Ralf Schumacher has had enough of Max Verstappen's complaints... Have you?
aaronmcfairlane61d ago
Ive totally had enough of ralf's jealous remarks he tried and failed couldn't match his brother end of
aaditya.krishnamurthy129d ago
Maybe they shouldn't ask him what he thinks of the new regulations each and every time? I'm not going to blame Max for answering questions. It's not like he takes a megaphone and gives his unsolicited opinions each time.
david.comerford130d ago
In fairness to Max, people keep asking him about it. The story is becoming tiresome but that's not necessarily his fault

Does Max Verstappen need to make up his mind?
He has once again threatened to quit F1 if the rules aren't changed for 2027
aaronmcfairlane61d ago
No he knows what he wants and he will do it his own way
carlomarian130d ago
Max can do whatever he pleases. However in my book no driver or athlete is greater than the sport or the franchise.
davidrohunt133d ago
Unless things are 100% Max's way he's upset. Good if not great winner, petulant loser

Max Verstappen makes a U-Turn on his recent retirement stance. Do you think he said it to force Formula 1's hand?
aaronmcfairlane61d ago
Max wants proper racing not milk float energy bank scooting around "gold top anybody"
fogclimber1998134d ago
If he said it to shake up the FIA and FOM, good for him! Being a 4X WDC means he can say things and people listen. What he did is much better than the SJW stuff from Hamilton and Vettel. Max is a racer above anything else.
rebecca.braybrook135d ago
I think this highlights the real weight that Verstappen carries in the sport and how much F1 are concerned about losing him! He knows that he has a voice for change and he's exercised it!
♥ 1

Where will Max Verstappen FINISH his F1 career? ⏩
aaronmcfairlane61d ago
2 years from now at the end of the calendar race
aaditya.krishnamurthy137d ago
Max won’t leave Red Bull. Even if they’re not the most dominant team, if they’re competitive enough, at a baseline level, they can keep hold of Max
marcus.chan137d ago
I can’t see Max staying at Red Bull if Mercedes continue to dominate. He will go to the team with the fastest car

Did Max Verstappen's Nurburgring performance enhance his F1 legacy?
aaronmcfairlane61d ago
No to him it was a fun day out like noddy going to the countryside
aaditya.krishnamurthy138d ago
Can’t see how it enhanced his F1 legacy. Definitely did well at Nurburgring but it had no bearing on his F1 legacy
seanfisher138d ago
Not necessarily his F1 legacy, but definitely his legacy as a racer! What a guy

Do you want to see Max Verstappen attempt the 24 Hours of Nurburging again?
Team Verstappen finished 38th after a driveshaft issue cost them the lead!
aaditya.krishnamurthy140d ago
Absolutely want to see Max back! The loss today came due to an issue with the car, and he was flying before that! Think he has a solid shot to win next year!
Is this the best overtake you've seen all season? 🤯
Max Verstappen passed the #47 Mercedes of Jesse Krohn on the grass at the Nurburgring!
david.comerford140d ago
That's pure bravery and great racing
aaditya.krishnamurthy141d ago
Verstappen is proving why he's one of the all-time greats with this performance at Nurburgring!
Which of Max Verstappen's Grand Prix wins will go down in F1 history as his very best? 🤩

It's hard to look past Brazil 2024, absolutely phenomenal drive.
Will you be tuning into the Nurburgring 24 Hours this weekend?
stubdoo2327141d ago
Yes
aaditya.krishnamurthy144d ago
I'll try to check it out, but doubt I'll sit through more than 2 hours of the race in one sitting
david.comerford144d ago
I think most people will just watch highlights, but even that is a big change from last year
You’re the Ford WEC team boss for a day, who's joining Max Verstappen and Logan Sargeant in this squad?

Should Red Bull use Ford’s offer to convince Max Verstappen to stay in 2027?
rebecca.braybrook149d ago
I think Red Bull should consider letting Max race in the 24 Hrs of Le Mans next season if it could improve his motivation to remain in F1. Having said that, he does only have two more years on his contract, so Le Mans in 2029?
ahambly23149d ago
Racing in other forms of motorsport will always be on the cards for Verstappen. If Ford can leverage their WEC efforts now, it could pay dividends for Red Bull in the future.
kyle.archer149d ago
Allowing Max Verstappen to contest the 2027 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans when Ford return to the top-tier in the Hypercar class could help Red Bull a little in their quest to tempt the Dutchman to stay... But he will still want to see a lot more development with their F1 car.
Are you worried about Isack Hadjar after his reaction to crashing in Miami?
zoubirazout3863d ago
Not at all
wilsonjimwilson147d ago
I'm far, far more worried that Red Bull have gone back to their old trick of designing a car that only Max can drive, using the second car as a test-bench for Max only, then pinning all the blame on the second driver. Isack qualified P3 in Australia. Now he's one second behind Max, after "upgrades" were made to the car.
♥ 1
sathanr21147d ago
It’s strange hearing so many people say Red Bull isn’t good enough after a few departures. Even after some changes, they still seem to have a strong team supporting them in the background. They may have initially gone in the wrong direction with their design, but didn’t Mercedes do something similar last year?

The FIA have been told to give Max Verstappen 'penalty points' for his comments about the new rules
aaronmcfairlane61d ago
Why !!! Max is just telling the truth about them and all F1 racing fans agree
fogclimber1998149d ago
NO!!!! Let JPM deal with free speech. It will not hurt him. I am not a Max fan, but I respect his decision to speak his mind.
rebecca.braybrook151d ago
I think there's a real issue when the suggestion of censorship is raised instead of listening to WHY the drivers are complaining! This would 100% push the likes of Verstappen out of the sport for good!
♥ 1
Have you changed your mind about what Max Verstappen can achieve this season?
aaronmcfairlane61d ago
Not really hes still dragging the car around where 90% of other drivers would be at the back end of the race
dwaldner676150d ago
I believe this has been proved multiple times: you can never count the man out. Team Red Bull have now earned a chair in title contention with their recent upgrades, and I believe they will have to keep working forward to keep their seat and potentially catch up to Mercedes in terms of performance
aaditya.krishnamurthy151d ago
I think we can praise Verstappen and Red Bull for the work that's been done, but let's not get carried away. They need to consistently score points for him to truly be 'back.'
Does Max Verstappen need to recognise when he's beaten?
aaronmcfairlane61d ago
No if that happens then he might as well retire
seanfisher151d ago
I quite like Max’s mentality tbh… if every inferior car let a superior car pass then what’s the point really? They’d spend the whole race just getting into pace order
kyle.archer152d ago
The problem is that Red Bull have encouraged Max Verstappen's 'you're always in the right' approach for years, so he thinks he can just put his car in a place where it risks a crash unless the other driver gives up. As a result, his wheel-to-wheel race craft is often lacking when he actually has to genuinely fight a rival who does not have an inferior car.
♥ 1
You're in charge of Red Bull and you can only bring back ONE of these drivers
aaditya.krishnamurthy158d ago
Honestly, everyone is saying Sainz, and I totally get it. But I want to see Gasly back to see what he can do. Feel like he's hit his ceiling at Alpine and could thrive at Red Bull again
♥ 1
david.comerford158d ago
Sainz is the ready-made, perfect replacement if Red Bull lose Max
kyle.archer159d ago
Carlos Sainz is the most complete option - But for Red Bull's No1 and No2 driver mentality, bringing Alex Albon back would be the better fit.
♥ 1
How will we talk about Gianpiero Lambiase's Red Bull exit in five years?
kyle.archer159d ago
If Max Verstappen also leaves Red Bull and goes on to find success elsewhere in Formula 1, then Gianpiero Lambiase's departure will no doubt be looked back on as one of the factors for the Dutchman's decision.

Lando Norris thinks it would be a “shame” if Max Verstappen leaves F1 – Can anyone push rival F1 drivers to reach new heights like Verstappen does?
cees.vanheemert154d ago
Yes Max challenges everyone and pushes everyone to get better! I believe his EV power management needs an upgrade, or was it that axle that slowed him down?
johnfesters520162d ago
As far far I can remember, F1 rulings has always hunted Max down , look at all the penalties against him for so " called " misconduct or demeanor " same stuff Michael Schumacher suffered! David Coulthard drives a limping car on three wheels hampering Michael, s race drastically. Yet no penalties; same with F1 winner 2025 , Lando Norris overtaking maneuv
ahambly23164d ago
He's the benchmark, and will be leaving a massive void in the sport if he does opt to move on. While I don't think anyone else would be able to push their peers like Verstappen has, the spectacle will still remain the same.

Will Max Verstappen be a Red Bull Formula 1 driver in 2027?
rogermcclellan89d ago
Max drives to win, being second isn't in his DNA. Deserves better, I'll be surprised if he stays. Christian Horner always put Max first, but now their not listening!!!

Are Red Bull's days as a top F1 team coming to an end?
pete.bullen171d ago
How ironic that Jos would be "proved right"... he's been the biggest cause of discord in the RB camp since he arrived, a pretty aver4age driver in his day but an above average shit stirrer ever since. He and Alonso should be locked up in the same cage at the start of every season.
jackgallagher174d ago
It all depends on the money! If the money is drying up then yes, if not they'll find ways to compete again after a period of transition
seanfisher175d ago
It does look like a completely different team to the one dominating over the last few years, Max could be the last domino to fall

Jos Verstappen doubts Max Verstappen will leave Red Bull because of Gianpiero Lambiase's departure like he vowed in 2021 - Who do you think should replace GP?
aaditya.krishnamurthy175d ago
Totally agree mate, but do you think they have enough time to figure out improvements that allow Max or Isack to get something more out of the car? I'm not so sure
bacchusnz176d ago
Pierre Wache better come up with some improvements to make the RB22 fast and driveable. 2025 the RB21 had a tiny operating window only max could get right until midseason upgrades but was also quick when in the window. The RB22 is slow and unpredictable but the tyre window is wider but it eats tyres. So Wache can't make a base car like the Vcarb

wilsonjimwilson176d ago
It'll almost certainly be a promotion from within the team, because they have to understand how the team functions perfectly. And an engineer who has some familiarity with drivers. So it'll be someone in a fairly high up position at RBR, but someone who probably nobody really knows of as an F1 identity as yet.

Eight key figures gone in three years at Red Bull - Which exit hurts Red Bull the most? 🤔
wilsonjimwilson176d ago
Rob Marshall and Jonathan Wheatley. Horndog and Darth Marko were responsible for the toxic atmosphere that caused them and most others to leave. Newey has been great in the past, but his peak abilities might have taken a hit judging by the AMR26... But teams desperately want Marshall and Wheatley. GP is great but largely for his relationship with Max only.
