IMHO, this just adds fuel to the fire that is Max's disappointment with F1. My only question is whether Max will come back in 2027 to have one more year working with GP and the Red Bull team. Right now, he really sounds like he is fed up with this battery management nonsense.

I think that's the question on everyone's lips right now! I personally can't see him wanting to stay next season if this is the state of the Red Bull, and it will be interesting to see if GP gets put on Gardening Leave next season!

I can't see Max staying with Red Bull, even if he doesn't retire from F1 altogether. Too many of the people he enjoyed working with have left - Lambiase, Marko, Newey, etc. At what point does he say enough is the real question?

I honestly think Max will leave before GP if the things don't improve in the remainder of the 2026 season, his patience looks to be wearing thin!!
