I think Marc Marquez will win again this year..he know how to do it .

"He know how", you pow wow with big chief in tepee?

The 2026 Thailand Grand Prix saw a new record attendance! 👏 Are we starting to see Liberty Media's influence come into effect?

kyle.archer216d ago

Linking Liberty Media's impact with attendances will be much easier to gauge when MotoGP goes to tracks like Silverstone and there are not empty grandstands in most of the shots

Maybe the miles are catching up with Marc finally. Pedro/Jorge duel benefited Marc staying with them.

psycopeteincorporated216d ago

Miles not catching up... Marc didn't have Alex right there (or any other Duc ) this time to help like he did last year.

A changing of the guard or just a blip to start the season? 🤔

djangoreinhardt1965208d ago

"Ducati has been utterly dominated since the beginning"... You guys smoking some dried banana peels again?..

ovidiugrofsorean68209d ago

D.ucati a facut aceiasi greseala ca si Honda. Au distrus o motocicleta castigatoaresi au construit una in "jurul" lui M.M. Ma bucur , pentru ca Ducati nu isi respecta Campionii( Francesco Bagnaia). M.M, out, A. M. out, Ducati pe nicaieri! Yes!

ardashjoseph213d ago

Don’t forget that Marc’s shoulder is still bothering him. Once healed he will be at the top.

Was Toprak Razgatlioglu's MotoGP debut above, below or on par with your expectations for him at the Thailand Grand Prix? 📊

Let us know in the comments below!

ardashjoseph206d ago

I still believe this guy is far far overestimated. I don’t see him (at his age)beating the talented MotoGP guys. What makes fans, love this guy so much? Only because he became Superbike champion?

blackbianchi1216d ago

I think we are not seeing Toprak's true worth in MotoGP while he is on the V4 Yamaha. Not sure which bike he would be suited to, to be at the front, but this bike is not it. I feel bad for him. He is getting older, and this contract will maybe be his last unless they figure out the bike.

The first race of 2026 is done! What would you rate the Thailand Grand Prix out of 10?

andymedin55216d ago

8.

gazzaa001217d ago

7 ruined by Michelin and the penalty marc was given was a load of crap ,thanks Simon crafar! ! Dck head

johanesbp218d ago

9 out of 10 so far. Pedro and Marc in the sprint was crazy, and in the race we got the long awaited Martin vs Marc vs Acosta. And that tuk-tuk GP? a 30 minutes worth of good laugh and entertainment.

Marc Marquez made it look easy with this double overtake, but what was your favourite moment from the Thailand Grand Prix? 🤩

Let us know in the comments below!

tyler.rowlinson218d ago

Acosta, Martin and Marquez's battle was brilliant to watch! Really hope this is a sign of things to come in 2026, exciting stuff!

ahambly23218d ago

The battle between these three was thrilling, hopefully a sign of much more to come this year!

Who was your rider of the day for the Thailand Grand Prix? 🏍️

Let us know in the comments below!

ianstewart953209d ago

Bezzecchi. Without a doubt. Although Acosta took it to Marquez. He's not intimidated by an 8 time world champion.

djangoreinhardt1965216d ago

Bezzecchi blasted to the front in a real length MotoGP and the rest of the pack were admiring his exhaust pipes from afar..

tyler.rowlinson218d ago

Acosta deserved it for me. His on-track battles have been great to watch this weekend!

Marco Bezzecchi bounces back from his Sprint crash to win in Thailand! 😍 Is this the start of his title charge?

djangoreinhardt1965212d ago

Bezzecchi has developed the Aprilia on his own, with no help from primadonna and serial crasher Jorge Martin. He deserves to be Aprilia Number One and to be paid accordingly.

ahambly23218d ago

He has to be up there, I'd put him above Marquez in my predictions now.

ben.evans218d ago

Its hard to look past how dominant he was especially after his crash yesterday

Pedro Acosta leads the championship for the first time in his career after his P2 in Thailand. Will he be a genuine contender this season?

Let us know in the comments below!

azmannaiam215d ago

Pedro Acosta more determined to win this title this year l should said.

blackbianchi1216d ago

So many are rising to the top this year. Pedro Acosta will be one of them. I love seeing different people win, in the sprint and the main event on Sunday! Jorge Martin seems to be making a comeback. Raul Fernandez, and Ai Ogura are players now. So great for the sport! Marco and Marc cannot seem to stay on the bike, so we may have a challenge at the end of 26

ahambly23218d ago

May be a bit too early to call, he was brilliant over the weekend in Buriram, but there's just no guarantee he'll be as competitive at every circuit.

Davide Tardozzi disagrees with Marc Marquez’s penalty in the Sprint at the Thailand GP

Would Pedro Acosta have made the same move for the lead?

mickreilly02216d ago

Acosta a What?you are dilusional.

blackbianchi1216d ago

I have not yet seen Pedro Acosta do anything I thought was unsportsmanlike conduct. The only penalty I know of from him was getting back on track after a crash in qualifying, right after that rule was created. He is in my opinion, a gentleman racer.

andymedin55216d ago

I don't speculate.

Do you agree with Neil Hodgson's take on Marc Marquez's Thailand Sprint penalty?

hansmartin1962218d ago

first of all, it was a great fight between marc & pedro, congratulation to both! to me simon crafars decision was not right, it was a hard blockpass but it was not a case for a penalty.

♥ 1

kyle.archer219d ago

Marc Marquez certainly let off the brake early to draw alongside Pedro Acosta, but he so nearly got it right were it not for the small bit of contact that forced Acosta to pick up his bike.

Pedro Acosta scores his first MotoGP win in the Buriram Sprint Race!

Who was your rider of the Sprint Race at the 2026 Thailand Grand Prix?

luke.newman219d ago

Going to go with Ogura, he quietly got about his business as the drama unfolded ahead of him.

david.comerford219d ago

A basic answer, but it has to be Acosta. I did not expect him to take the fight to Marc like that!

What are your thoughts on Marc Marquez getting a penalty for this move on Pedro Acosta?

hansmartin1962211d ago

well, simon crafar praised such a blockpass as wonderful racing with enea bastianini and gave marc marquez a penalty! anymore to say?

psycopeteincorporated216d ago

Glad he got the penalty (cause Marc & his brother get away w/ way too much during races),but Acosta would have come back & checked him in return if not.

gazzaa001217d ago

That penalty was straight up bullshit

Pedro Acosta wins his first MotoGP race!

Have we seen just seen MotoGP's best ever Sprint?

luke.newman219d ago

Definitely the best MotoGP Sprint Race I can think of off the top of my head!

Marco Bezzecchi crashes from the lead in the Buriram Sprint Race!

Can Bezzecchi handle the pressure of a MotoGP title fight?

luke.newman219d ago

He was never a consistent title fighter in Moto2 and Moto3, so probably not. He always seems like he makes silly, unforced errors.

david.comerford219d ago

It felt like he was about to start pulling away!

🙂Add a comment…Open Discussion

Marc Marquez got within 0.035s of Marco Bezzecchi's Thailand GP pole position lap

Who surprised you the most during qualifying in Buriram?

david.comerford219d ago

Big props to Jorge Martin to be honest, off the pace of his teammate but a great effort in light of all his health issues!

Francesco Bagnaia bows out in Q1 at the 2026 Thailand Grand Prix!

Is Pecco Bagnaia facing another season of woe at Ducati?

ardashjoseph206d ago

Lets stop discussion about Pecco, finally. He needs a good psychiatrist or just stop instead of complaining, constantly.

luke.newman219d ago

Didn't look right from the word go on Friday.

david.comerford219d ago

This is why Tardozzi needs to stop saying he's back

🙂Add a comment…Open Discussion

I don't think so

c.kolnberger220d ago

Wrong post! My favourite is Marc!

🙂Add a comment…Open Discussion

Which riders do you think will make it through Q1 in Buriram?

luke.newman219d ago

Luca Marini and Francesco Bagnaia

c.kolnberger220d ago

Hopefully Peccho or Fernandez

david.comerford220d ago

I'm going to go for Pecco and Fernandez

Marco Bezzecchi set the pace in practice at the Thailand Grand Prix. Who is your favourite for pole position?

c.kolnberger220d ago

Marc Marquez

♥ 1

david.comerford220d ago

I had a feeling Bezzecchi might be the fastest over one lap, but I'm still backing Marc for Sunday

luke.newman220d ago

Marco Bezzecchi has to be the favourite after today, as it seemed to come easier for him than Marc Marquez.

🙂Add a comment…Open Discussion

Could we get a surprise winner at the Thailand Grand Prix?

c.kolnberger220d ago

I don't think so

luke.newman220d ago

I doubt we will see a surprise winner. It would be nice for Ogura to get on the podium, but can't see him winning.

ahambly23221d ago

He was really impressive last year in Thailand, so I really wouldn't put it past Ogura going beyond his debut and securing his MotoGP maiden win at Buriram on Sunday.

What is your favourite moment at the Thailand Grand Prix?

c.kolnberger220d ago

Marc and Alex with their one - two results

luke.newman220d ago

The 2018 final lap with Marc Marquez and Andrea Dovizioso going head-to-head. Dovi sent it at the final corner, and Marquez cut back underneath him.

ahambly23222d ago

The Marquez brothers securing their very first one-two in MotoGP last year was a cool moment.

luke.newman222d ago

1st. Marc Marquez, 2nd. Marco Bezzecchi, 3rd. Alex Marquez
