West Ham Youngsters

With one year left on his deal, I'd probably give him another loan in League 1 to prove himself. If he thrives, give him another year or two. If he flops, let him go next summer.

Completely agree. The rule is heavy handed. It would force managers to play kids before they are ready out of obligation, and would create far too much pressure before they are ready

All of them, can be the one's, if they don't allow the stars around them dictate their Potential. Of what I've seen, so far, they're all holding back, not imposing them-selves, take your chance, run yourself to the ground, that's the only way you'll know if you will be the next Dec, Mark, Billy, Trevor, 'Pop' or Moore.

Given the chance I'd say Lewis Orford and the same applies to Daniel Cummings, give them a go.

Ajela

reubengane5171d ago

Moyes didn't give the lad enough chances.

swhitecrossuk8171d ago

give all the kids a chance you dont get expreience without a first team outing. lower leagues are ok but you need to see if you have it for prem league

daniel.owen172d ago

He simply should never have left. Moyes was giving him chances, albeit not as many as he wanted. Sometimes for young players though, patience really is a virtue

richardmills19300162d ago

Bring him into 1st team he's good enough

mangeniivansirudi165d ago

To encourage him in training

brianbetteridge0308175d ago

Keep him and let him have some first team time as that's how he will learn more with first team players

swhitecrossuk8180d ago

better than the donkey Kilman

daniel.owen181d ago

I think he will be our back-up, left-sided centre-back next season, replacing Kilman

Let’s put this in perspective he’s no rio Ferdinand or Declan rice ! It’s too early to say if he can make the grade! I would like to see orford in midfield with fernandes and kante

I fear that Sullivan may cash in on some of the academy players to help with PSR, but if not I can see the likes of Golambekis, Fearon, Orford and Ajala vying for the first team next season or going out on loan to a championship side. Also got Earthy and Casey

dodkins2000199d ago

It gives me a lot of hope for the future if we can keep the players

daniel.owen201d ago

A heartbreaking loss but so many positives; Fearon was exceptional, Golambeckis and Oyabade look really promising. Herrick was actually brilliant as well until the late error

A great honour for the Club, come on lads and win it.

kwaylen202d ago

He certainly looks a talent but I’m not convinced he’s strong enough physically for the premier league! He should be in the gym strengthening his legs and core so that he doesn’t get pushed off the ball !

daniel.owen202d ago

This would actually be two academy trophies in two years on the back of the Premier League Cup in 2025

reubengane5201d ago

He'll come back a better player and we must keep him.

jamesshearman23210d ago

He scored a great goal on Saturday but he needs to do more to prove he's a Premier League player...

daniel.owen214d ago

Kerr looks so exciting. Love the way he can dribble both ways with the ball

reubengane5201d ago

If he's good enough for Mark Noble he's good enough for me, he'll get more chances after we've escaped relegation hopefully after three wins.

daniel.owen223d ago

I hope he gets a chance at some pint. Seems to be behind Kante and Orford in the pecking order though. I wonder if Burton was his opportunity...

daniel.owen223d ago

I think send him out on loan to another Champ club next season. With Mayers stepping up and if Disasi stays, he'll need minutes

reubengane5225d ago

Come back home

terrynorwood24946218d ago

Offer him £30.000 a week

reubengane5228d ago

We keep losing top class youngsters we have groomed only to see them leave, what the hell are the owners doing we just can't act as a top class Club more like a 'two bob' club, please go Sullivan and Brady for God's sake.

ray.baxterct1951228d ago

I'm probably just a dumb and naive old man though!
