Fortunately, Fabrizio Romano was very wrong...

What should the next steps for Josh Ajala be at West Ham?

Offer him £30.000 a week

We keep losing top class youngsters we have groomed only to see them leave, what the hell are the owners doing we just can't act as a top class Club more like a 'two bob' club, please go Sullivan and Brady for God's sake.

I'm probably just a dumb and naive old man though!

Tell him he is part of the future of West Ham.There are too many kids that slip away into oblivion.Senior players should play their part with encouragement.Do they spend any Down-Time socially at the club?

Nothing. I'd honestly suggest he try his luck elsewhere. Look at Callum Marshall. High praises and expected to be the next "Academy graduate" in the first team and of 21 games, he only made the bench 5 times (one of those Wolves in the EFL Cup) alongside 2 30min PL appearances. Rest he didn't make the squad at all. Why try sell him on what would be a lie?

Give him a contract that would entice him to stay with us just don't let sullivan or Brady any where near the contract and ensure him he is one for the future to build around ad he will learn loads of Wilson and the other attackers we now have in abundance at Westham
