West Ham United Transfers

What do we reckon about it potentially being Joel Piroe instead?

johnrogers152050d ago

Get it done, no time to talk, its time for action only

robbo14085551d ago

Not for 27 ml

dodkins200052d ago

Big mistake which we prob come back and bite us

antonymmartin8458d ago

Bang average player. Would have been decent in the Championship but 10m is great money. He’s just another Josh Cullen, very steady but nothing special about him

Freddie Potts is a player who has not been able to continue his development and not had enough playing time to show what he can do, shame, I feel he'll become a top player and all we will do is replace him with somebody else without the real hammers connection at a higher cost who will take time to be a cultural fit.

nickdomjan62d ago

Celtic have adapted to play to his strengths and it shows in his value, will we do the same?

ray.baxterct195164d ago

Judging by the way things go, I'll believe when It happens, hopeful premature statements rarely materialise in the transfer market. The blah blah and worry continues for me.

billy.meyers65d ago

Very surprised by this - a massive coup for a Championship side 👏 Has been strongly linked to Forest and Palace so this is a real statement signing 🔥

reubengane558d ago

Different Manager's have all refused to use these lads and the directors have not bothered to intervene - disgraceful 😡

dantowen8195166d ago

I still have hope for Orford! Of the ones who left though, there should be no regrets Mubama had a pretty torrid time at Stoke and he was the most highly rated in this XI

jamie.brown8273d ago

Absolutely unbelievable business from West Ham! 155m from Summerville and Fernandes, allowing the team to keep players like Bowen! Hopefully leaves another money for a push for Disasi! 🙏

ivan_force73d ago

Buy Disasi, and loan him to another club, so we have him for next year!

gorriejonathan74d ago

Brilliant deal. Sad to lose him but making that much money on a player who only really did it for a few games is fantastic

dantowen8195179d ago

I’d go for Sunderland’s Simon Adingra on loan with an obligation to buy if we get promoted - he’d get 25 G/A in the Champ

nickdomjan80d ago

Isidor for me, and ask him to imitate Julián Quiñones with his one touch game and learn how to play with his back to goal.

blackcatguard-shop73d ago

It's really positive to have lots of money coming in, now spend it wisely. Don't over pay for players who won't fit the style, too many mistakes to learn from I think

jameslloyd14.jl80d ago

Whoooooo remembers Savio Nsereko

antonymmartin8480d ago

I know Gyokeres isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but we rejected the chance to sign him for £17m. He would have been perfect for the Antonio role and a massive upgrade. Signed Scamacca instead

West Ham have to keep up quickly, the top of the championship is like the bottom half of the prem. If they think they they can breeze through and win everything without changes, I fear a rude awakening is on the cards.

ericmartinhowell75d ago

If he keeps doing what he did against Southend, we have gem in house.

ray.baxterct195182d ago

If you've got some Dosh in your pocket, it doesn't mean you have to blow it in one go, you've got to shop around for bargains.

ericmartinhowell75d ago

Thomas above Vargas

dodkins200085d ago

I would like him back

peter.tester46d ago

Fee agreed just pay the wages and I am sure he would come back

johnbearman6068d ago

Getting Disasi back to the London Stadium it will be like winning the lottery

wendy.a.james74d ago

Delighted - he & Dino were a first class pair of centre backs together, plus we can avoid the possibility of kalamityKilman

nickdomjan83d ago

Give him 2 years in the English game then it's fair to make the comparison, in the mean time if he can benefit from mentoring by a top player I'm sure it will accelerate his progress

canodiagodfrey85d ago

Good from me because Fernandes now have not interest to stay then introduce new changes

vatsal88d ago

Nobody could even ascertain what kind of a player Fernandes would end up being when he left Portugal. Apples to oranges comparison Having said that, Sa looks brilliant and further foritifies my belief that West Ham should walk the Championship next season

nickdomjan83d ago

At his price there are a lot of very serious players who have been more than squad players last season

richardmills1930089d ago

Would he drop down a division

reubengane589d ago

Can't read what talkingpointsfan is saying?

reubengane589d ago

Adingra worth a gamble for about,£15m

nickdomjan89d ago

Isidor for me, a diamond that needs polishing

talkingpointsfan89d ago

Bring some fresh blood into the team. Squad needs more players like like this

bildo2894d ago

Ive heard alot of talk about peck

reubengane596d ago

Buy James or Peck we have Kante and Potts but Mulligan could give a cover job, his Scottish grit may well be very useful in the Championship.

nickdomjan96d ago

Pepelu who is no longer in the managers plans at Valencia paired with Chotard would play well together

richardmills1930089d ago

It's OK looking at overseas bargains maybe we should be looking at our own youngsters

grahamwatts96d ago

Not fussed about losing him as long as we get £80 million to help re build.

gorriejonathan98d ago

I reckon he'll be a UCL starter in the not too distant future. Pure class, although his performance vs Newcastle still winds me up

reubengane5100d ago

£85 million to Manchester United I wouldn't to be sending a world class player Spurs 😡😡

brianbetteridge0308102d ago

How can west ham let mateus fernandes go if he still got four years in his contract to me west ham are going mad you don't sign a player for five years then letting him go west ham need to keep him

dantowen81951102d ago

I honestly now believe West Ham will get the £85m they want. Spurs are desperate and that plays into our hands
