Do you think tennis players are underpaid?

Top players have threatened to boycott Grand Slams over prize money concerns…

kelliewood11110d ago

Definitely not the top ones but maybe the guys trying to break into top 100 or lower tier players

suegibson4848135d ago

Certainly not - indeed top players are excessively overpaid !! Lesser players are possibly underpaid .

Obviously mo way!! Top players are worth millions plus incredible sums for endorsements Lower rank players are not necessarily well.paid Total geared to be asking for more money đź’°

How would you solve the tennis injury crisis?

mvsells6d ago

Reduce the schedule increase the off season by a month

kelliewood11110d ago

Less matches, simples!!

mattscottrobb225d ago

Using the same tennis ball/brand. 3 surfaces, 3 balls so players aren't needing to adapt week in week out. Constant changes in balls and surfaces greatly contributing to injuries, as well as not enough breaks thru the year. Off seasons too short. Simple.

If you could change one rule in tennis what would it be and why?

richardmbonas130d ago

In the grand slams men, 2 out of 3 sets through the round of 16, then 3 out of 5 for quarters thru final.

No Add Duece

Its about time for tennis to let go of the "let call". Just like what they do in college let the play continue even when the serve hit the tip of the net. I remember long ago they already had discussions about this and even said that they will try them in some smaller tournaments but somehow it never happened.

What Nick Kyrgios thinks should change about Grand Slams

archerpaula28264d ago

I quite like this suggestion. It really is quite valid.

I think this is actually a nice balance. We'd still get Sinner and Alcaraz five set classics, and it would help schedule/fatigue issues. I don't think many lower-ranked players would complain about having to play three set matches against the top players at Grand Slams either!

What star players think about the tennis schedule

liam.mcmillen298d ago

I think it's really important the top players are listened to - they are who fans are paying to see!
