How many Grand Slams titles does Mirra Andreeva have at the same age Aryna Sabalenka is now (28)?

johnverrall11118d ago

I think she’s best on clay, so I think she wins at least another three at RG. Maybe a couple more elsewhere too

bcauserano119d ago

4 or 5

george.patten120d ago

3 - Think she will win a few AO titles

Which loss was more surprising, Aryna Sabalenka or Jannik Sinner?

Sinner lost in R2, Sabalenka in the QF...

bcauserano122d ago

Definitely Sabalenka, with Sinner it happened gradually, but Sabalenka It was like someone flipped a switch, also this has happened to Sinner a few times in these last couple years but this hasn't happened to Sabalenka since 2022

Jannik Sinner

bogusiaglover123d ago

eTtTI was shocked by Sinner he clearly was unwell and did not want to retire and disappoint the fans... Sinner has such a brave heart always considerate of others.. Remember Cincinnati final with Alcaraz last year .. He took the mic apoke to the fans saying how very sorry he was that they came to see him playing and he could not fulfill it. Sinner is the

Prove me wrong - Alexander Zverev WILL win Roland Garros now

irenemcdonald3120d ago

Zverev if he doesn't clutch, but we've seen that many times

callumdaviestennis124d ago

If he doesn't, it's the biggest bottle in tennis history. Think Mensik will challenge him in the semis though

matthew.johns124d ago

Zverev is definitely the front runner, but it is no foregone conclusion as he is under a lot of pressure and has collected mental baggage in the latter stages of Grand Slams…

Who comes through the top half of the draw to reach the Roland Garros final?

Sinner's exit has blown the draw wide open...

lewis41953124d ago

Anyone’s guess, but to change the topic, Serena coming back is no surprise based on the level and depth of womens tennis. She could probable compete at 50,, i cant believe individuals buy tickets to those events.

george.patten128d ago

It could literally be anyone! Going to say Francisco Cerundolo though

How concerned are you about Jannik Sinner's physical issues going forward in his career?

vs.iyer.vs111d ago

If matches go to a distance against Carlos RG final 25, AO 26 semi with Novak, Sinner is fading. He has to be healthy and fit to fight five full sets without cramp etc in hot humid conditions. If match goes to 5th set player's mental toughness, endurance and physically also matters.

admlopes05124d ago

Sinner needs to be managed better.

siswms5959126d ago

As our planet continues to get hotter some changes in support of the players need to happen. Why not close the roof during the hottest times and apply some other type of shedding to open courts. Otherwise plan on players facing unhealthy conditions and also the fans.

What do you think the score will be?

Who wins and in how many sets?

Novak in 5 here we go!

george.patten129d ago

Djokovic in 4

johnverrall11129d ago

Novak in straights!

Anyone worried about Jannik Sinner right now? I have to say I am.

tabmash128d ago

But I think he needed this....to learn to relax and enjoy the sport without being too greedy. He did well in Masters and that should have been his goals for now and not to plan for career grand slam title too in one season. He must relax and compete with Carlos reasonably.

Who do you think will win the French Open?

Have you changed your mind after round one?

kilham.max130d ago

Nope – I still think Coco will walk away with the title! Her game is perfect for the clay.

johnverrall11130d ago

I really think Gauff can win this

peter.lynch131d ago

Backed Andreeva and sticking with Andreeva!

What was the biggest shock from the first round of Roland Garros this year?

leeclarke05081131d ago

I'd say Medvedev. Fritz and Pegula notoriously a little bit suspect on clay but really fancied that Medvedev had turned a corner.

kilham.max131d ago

I'm not sure any of these were that surprising. All four haven't really proven their worth on the surface bar Medvedev in Rome. If I had to pick, I would say Pegula. I expected an early exit but not first round.

freddie131d ago

Medvedev, should have got the win quite comfortably!

Who is your dark horse for the Roland Garros title this year?

leeclarke05081131d ago

Svitolina would be a lovely story. If Monfils can't win during his last Roland Garros, it'd be nice if his wife could win the women's tournament.

kilham.max131d ago

Svitolina for sure. Has played so well throughout this year.

george.patten131d ago

Andreeva - got the game to go far

Is Coco Gauff going back-to-back at Roland Garros with this draw?

leeclarke05081131d ago

Would be class if she did! Far too much is made of Gauff's imperfections that it's sometimes lost just how much quality she has in full flight.

bcauserano132d ago

No

george.patten136d ago

She’s one of three or four players in contention. Wouldn’t be surprised if she defends

Which round will Novak Djokovic make at the French Open?

The Serb made the semifinals in 2025...

george.patten136d ago

3R, but if he gets past that I could see him making the semis/final so who knows??

peter.lynch136d ago

I think he battles his way to the fourth, gives Ruud a scare but bows out then

matthew.johns136d ago

Fourth round for me. But if Fonseca is fit, I would not be surprised to see Djokovic lose even earlier!

Jannik Sinner is now a bigger favorite to win Roland Garros than Rafael Nadal ever was

Agree or disagree? Let us know in the comments!

huybersdeb143d ago

Jannik is so good actually going great but let's not ever forget how excellent Rafael was.

♥ 1

callum_boyle144d ago

He’s the favourite because there is literally no competition who can seriously challenge. He’s not a bigger favourite than Nadal, yet, because he’s not won at RG before. Once he has at least three of them, then you can maybe begin to make comparisons

♥ 1

daviescallum42144d ago

Good question actually. Both were massive favourites but for such different reasons. Sinner is only such heavy favourite because his biggest rival isn’t there, and the rest of the field is so weak. Nadal was the favourite because, no matter who he played, they were so far beneath him on clay

Can any of these four players stop Jannik Sinner winning the French Open this year?

Is there anyone else you think could be a threat to Sinner?

callum_boyle146d ago

If fit, Djokovic is the only one who can beat him. Sinner will breeze through to the final, and maybe through that as well

mdzuraizi147d ago

Musseti at his best can give a challenge to Sinner.. But at this current, without alcaraz, none can defeat sinner except injury or heat 🔥

I doubt it 😆
