This year ,unusual Roland Garros' was perfect example of ,equality'. Before it started women women asked for more money. Yes, it's obvious..a business. So, they should play 5 setters. I feel sorry for those on the stadium who pays $$$ for 1 hour+ of miserable performance.

The Prize money is way too much, while on the other side some poor soul straves.

Should the ATP Tour introduce a new grass-court Masters event? 💭

If so, where should the tournament be held?

callumdaviestennis156d ago

Definitely! It's criminal how short the grass-court season is

I think it would be cool, but the grass court season would need to be longer for it to really work in my opinion

Yes! Would love to see one somewhere we don't get much tennis, although not sure the conditions would allow for a tournament in Africa, South America... Halle probably deserves the upgrade anyway!

Still reckon Monfils would take it!

I think their speed on the court wouldn't quite translate to a 100m sprint so it's very tough to call... would absolutely love to see it though!!

Who will be the United Cup MVP? Anyone else? Let us know in the comments

vanhunks69271d ago

I'm all for Hubert Hurkacz. Haven't played in 7 months due to injury but making waves firing 20+ in his matches.

Iga Swiatek! She's lost twice at the United Cup since its inception

An outside shout - Casper Ruud. He was very impressive in his first match!

Change the best two out of three sets format to three out of five sets in the grandslams for women. Women tennis are just as excited as the men , even more I think. Plus women are getting almost the same wages as the men.

Best of 5 sets Only for Finals game

If you were in charge of tennis, what is the first rule you would change?

starman6455d ago

Huge Nadal and Fed fan here but Djoko would almost certainly have one, most likely two more Majors under the belt if he hadn't been screwed during the absurd covid vax mess (we all know now what a criminal farce that was) . Also , YES do something about the unnecessary noise making on every ball strike. (while some noise is completely understandable)

jeffrey.roughgarden55d ago

No second serve, or second serve must be underhanded. It would slow down the first serve and provide some amusing underhand spin serves.

Stop the grunting and screaming, and go to No Ad scoring for all games. It would speed it up and allow 5 set matches to continue. Use the 10 pt tie break.

What is your bold prediction for the 2026 tennis season?

bamamatt7215d ago

An ATP newcomer gets to a Grand Slam Final and he plays Novak Djokovic in the Wimbledon Final. And either Novak wins #25 or the newcomer wins Wimbledon.

camerondesc1297d ago

Zverev finally wins a major...

matthew.johns298d ago

Sinner and Alcaraz don't win all four majors, could be Djokovic's last chance...

Should the five-set format at Grand Slams be changed?

jef7rey120d ago

🏆🎾YES, WOMEN'S TENNIS NEEDS AN EQUAL-OPPORTUNITY UPGRADE It's the Fairness Principle The chance to come back The equal opportunity to lose 2 sets, recover, rise, and keep battling 💰Same prize money = equal reward ⚖️Best-of-5 = equal opportunity — and makes the 4 Grand Slams special 🎾5️⃣🏆
