Monfils is still very fast. He isn't beating Alcaraz, in any distance race now ( 38 years old). It would have been very close when Monfils was in his prime, however. I have been watching tennis for 60 years, and Alcaraz is the fastest player I have ever seen on a tennis court.

I think their speed on the court wouldn't quite translate to a 100m sprint so it's very tough to call... would absolutely love to see it though!!
