Newcastle United vs Chelsea

gary.howe203d ago

His creativity and midfield work is exceptional. But he's no striker.

jonathan.gorrie203d ago

I never thought midfield would work but I liked what I saw (at times) vs Chelsea

jonathan.gorrie203d ago

A for me. Looks like he's getting back to his best!

Gordon for me, his best game yet as centre forward, lots of pace and kept putting Chelsea's defence under pressure.

Think the way the Arsenal game went was potentially worse. But West Ham stands out for just how poor it was

Eddie needs to be more proactive with his substitutions not reactive, he seems to wait until we concede another goal before he make changes. Game management starts from the top.

jordan.harris287d ago

I think he's entitled to a rocky patch

james.brooke287d ago

Unpopular opinion but he was always likely to hit a ceiling with Newcastle. He has never been the manager to take the project to the next level

ascotsales287d ago

That is the crux of the game, desire, energy, a great game for two clubs. Very good result for both. Other problem creep into football. Like 🍸 🍷 alcohol, or late night clubbing. ZERO ALCOHOL maintains energy.

jordan.harris287d ago

thought Gordon was so good yesterday!

james.brooke287d ago

When Gordon turns up like that he's genuinely unplayable. Didn't think big Nick did enough outside of his goals, but suppose that's what he's there for

bazzak57288d ago

Murphy doing ok and then we bring on elanga so poor again

bazzak57288d ago

Bad ref and var so poor

james.rutherford289d ago

Early kick-offs are horrible, but going to back us to win, 2-1 I reckon. Another goal for Wissa hopefully.

gary.howe287d ago

Yes. Woltemade is a great link up player. Think of how well Les Ferdinand and Shearer. played together

iainroundtree289d ago

I would.say hopefully but who.knows at the minute I think played them both from the off might stand a better chance

james.rutherford289d ago

I do, but not for a while. Right now they need to dovetail and share the load.

james.rutherford289d ago

Just having Trippier back would be nice!

leonardgalloway289d ago

Malcolm McDonald.

♥ 1

james.rutherford289d ago

Let's be brave and say 7. In Miley we trust!

jonathan.gorrie289d ago

I'd be delighted if we even got three 😂

james.rutherford289d ago

100% agree. Different players obviously, but Miley just looks so comfortable in every role he plays. Boyish face but plays like a veteran. Anderson has kicked on massively and well done to him, but what Miley is doing at 19 is incredible.

james.brooke289d ago

He genuinely is, but think the difference is in terms of ceiling. Anderson's always looked higher to me
