It will be interesting to see if Tonali has any loyalty after we stood by him. However, he looked disinterested once the CL was over. Players we get in aren't going to have the same quality that we'd like to see.

The usual - try as best to keep him fit and playing as a Rolls Royce to benefit club and player. Then if the right offer comes and we have backup targets, it gives club and player an option. The worst thing is not shortlisting options. We now have a full time DoF.

Hard to say. If his body keeps breaking down no big clubs are going to be in for him, he's missed a lot of football. Therefore he will likely sign his new contract. If he gets fit and plays well then my guess is he will be off.

He’s done well. Been an absolute warrior. His transformation from 40 mil flop to pure midfield monster. Has been class but if we get a good offer and can progress as a club then may be time for him to leave albeit with a heavy heart.
