Name your UK MMA GOAT. 🇬🇧🐐

goheels2733035d ago

The Count for sure. Nobody else close to him. Id put Aspinall 2nd but still a few years from getting on the same page as Bisping. And we need to see how Aspinall performs in the battles that heart is the only thing holding you up... Bisping had tons of that!

metejosh2424257d ago

Molly the Meatball 😂 Bisping for now. Tom still has a chance to take his spot, as long as he doesn’t lose an eye like the ‘Count’ did. Gane that dirty m.f. sure as hell tried. Paddy still has a chance too.

Connor McGregor is British. Your welcome 🙏

Who is the best UFC fighter that never won a title?

Explain your pick down below.

metejosh2424257d ago

Ok guys there are quite a few but here's my top 5 (not in any type of order) 1) Joseph Benavidez 2) Dustin Poirier 3) Dan Henderson 4) Chael Sonnen 5) Uriah Faber Honorable mentions: Alexander Gustafsson, Alistair Overeem, Yoel Romero, Rory Macdonald, Stephen Thompson

♥ 1

aeboyles62d ago

Rory MacDonald. That guy was a beast and he just happened to meet his kryptonite in Robbie Lawler.

aeboyles62d ago

And how could I forget Jim Miller?

Who is the greatest striker in UFC history?

Defend your pick in the comments below.

metejosh2424257d ago

Anderson for sure. His southpaw stance helped but he could easily switch it up. He's 4-2 in his boxing career with 3 k.o.'s which tells me he's a pretty damn good striker.

♥ 1

aeboyles62d ago

Anderson Silva without a doubt. The most technically proficient striker and still holds the consecutive victory record to this day. He was greatly feared in his prime and rightly so.

♥ 1

destructogainz64d ago

Anderson is not the striking goat. He was great but it was more flashy than perfect for sure. Yan/Izzy are/were better.

One name and why, who should enter the UFC Hall of Fame?

If the decision is yours, who's getting the next spot in the Hall of Fame? Comment below.

rvrmma201d ago

Nick and Nate....Even Bisping thinks they both belong...love em or hate they both played a huge part of growing the sport ...

♥ 2

harvey.leonard214d ago

Frank Shamrock, but we know why he won't be inducted

♥ 2

jordan.ellis218d ago

Lesnar. Meh record and it ended in a fishy way, but you can't underestimate the role he played in taking MMA to the next level.

Is Georges St-Pierre's career the best example for MMA fighters to follow?

GSP left the sport on top after sustaining limited damage inside the Octagon.

aeboyles62d ago

GSP and Khabib Nirmagomedov and Islam Makhachev. I know Islam isn't done but if he breaks Silva's record and defends 2-3 more times and wins he surpasses every single UFC fighter across all weight classes.

gabedoro140122d ago

Who wouldn't want his career? Whoever says no is lying!

rvrmma201d ago

For sure he also never failed a drug test never missed weight never pulled out of a fight never got arrested....I mean that says a lot especially now a days

Tell us about the worst foul you've ever seen. 👀

leemanis88130d ago

Not technically a foul but it got him permanently banned from the UFC and that's the extremely late hit by Paul Daley on Josh Koscheck. Granted I would have been frustrated as hell too, given the fact that Josh done nothing but pretty much lay on top of him the whole fight.

Which UFC legend had the worst final run in the promotion?

Comment your pick and reasoning below for the biggest fall from grace.

nick00769w23d ago

Chandler, he only won two fights. Dude needs to retire.. If Silvia retired before his last 7 fights he would be one of the best besides Bones Jones.

yarddawg07024d ago

Rounda rousey had the absolute qorst fall from grace, still cringe to even hear her talk about mma

Rank these featherweight greats.

breezypets56d ago

Volk, fought at his true weight, even fought Islam who is hulking now at 190+ as the WELTERWEIGHT CHAMP! Max and Aldo are dope with Jose destroying his natural division and Max fighting anyone at any weight. Conor was a weight bully who got choked the f*** out when he tried his real division..... CA-CAW!!!

♥ 1

wilcoxkm8157d ago

Volk. Max was the funnest though.

aeboyles62d ago

Volkanovski, then Aldo, Max, can not vote for McGregor. Frankie Edgar much better than McGregor.

Who is the best UFC referee?

joeharris091093d ago

Herb Dean may be the worst ref, so I dont know what people are thinking. He has a controversial non-stoppage, lack of enforcing point deductions for flagrant fouls, and being late to call a tko thus endangering a fighter in almost every fight he is reffing, He needs to be put out to pasture. I'd like to see Frank Trigg back as his replacement.

gabedoro140122d ago

Goddard Dean

Name your BMF! 👊

Let us know in the comments which fighter from throughout UFC history best fits the BMF tag.

preistduchein1d ago

His ring name said it all..."THE AXE MURDERER" Wanderlei Silva! I've saw some tuf Mfrs but no one as BRUTAL & BLOODY. You hear Wanderlei you knew this is going to be a real mfn FIGHT!

furf982d ago

If we are going purely on BMF then rampage jackson is top of my list.

grifth0164d ago

Anderson Silva has to be up at the top. He was a violent man, always looking to finish. Part of being bad is the fear he put in his opponents and the taunting adds an extra element. Watch him vs Forrest, Rich Franklin, or Vitor and try to argue. .

What's the best knockout in MMA history?

hankbacosta99d ago

Connor’s hammer fists are legendary!

oldnhbfreak106d ago

Bas Rutten KO's Funaki in Pancrase.

gabedoro140122d ago

There are so many but Max wins, I don't know how you can ever beat that one!

Who is the greatest BJJ fighter in UFC history?

extremerok39d ago

Without a doubt the one and only true Master by proving dominance in his performances against all those who considered themselves to be the best in the world with their skills of the art which they represented in not only the the truest way which comes by a pick a name out the hat and that's who you went out and combated regardless of height, weight or skill

♥ 1

l0rdkr3ll82121d ago

It's Damian Maia and it's not even close.

gabedoro140122d ago

Gracie was great but he was doing it when no one knew how to defend it! Charles is the champ bye far! 12 or 13 submissions!

Nate first beat Michael Johnson who was considered the best lightweight and talking to Rogan in the octagon called out "the fake conor" & finished his ass..

jordan.ellis267d ago

When was Johnson ever considered the best anything? Dude barely cracked the top 15 during his career. I like his fighting style but he's not elite or anywhere close to it.

What is the greatest rivalry in UFC history?

There have been some bitter feuds throughout the years. Tell us your favorite in the comments.

kieranwyer219566d ago

Definitely Bones/DC - it wasn't fabricated it was legitimate and it was competitive as well. Conor even said to Khabib after he lost it's just business

gabedoro140122d ago

The Eagle & Connor bands down!

leemanis88130d ago

Jones vs DC then Khabib vs Conor

Who was better; Ben Askren or Nate Diaz?

Ben Askren has more accolades after an Olympic wrestling career, but Nate Diaz made more money and had a much longer and more decorated UFC run. Whose career was better?

gabedoro140122d ago

Come on!! Nates record is terrible. Askren wins. We don't love Diaz for his record!

demany24250d ago

This one is easy, Nate Diaz.

donaghcorby1997260d ago

Askren was a two-time world champion. Only lost to a fluke KO against Masvidal and a BJJ master.

Who is the greatest heavyweight in MMA history?

keithfullerton.kf17d ago

Jon 'Bones' Jones

zac366618d ago

A healthy Cain was unstoppable especially if the fight went into the championship rounds.

aeboyles57d ago

Fedor would have destroyed every single name on the heavyweight list in his prime. He is by far the greatest of all time- no contest.

What's the worst decision you've seen a UFC fighter make inside the Octagon?

leemanis88130d ago

Paul Daly's extremely late hit on Josh Koscheck

kyle.dimond286d ago

Didn't cost him a title but I believe it was Andre Soukhamthath who chose to grapple with Sean O'Malley when Suga was hopping on one leg

donaghcorby1997286d ago

Chael Sonnen’s spinning backfist in the Silva rematch. Or his flip over against Fedor. Chael made loads of bad calls actually

Iceman & Shamrock

oldnhbfreak151d ago

Bas Rutten, Fedor Emelianenko and Randy Couture. I think they'd beat any HW of today. And Randy was the first to hold two ufc belts, not Conor.

jbdizzl545195d ago

Chris “the crippler” Leban
