That's a hard argue I'd say. He was comfortably beat by the two best welterweights that were around at the same time, not to mention other losses to the likes of Maia and Thompson

Benavidez beat Cejudo too! Then he had those back to back nasty losses to Figueiredo. Dodson another that missed out because of good DJ was.

The Carwin - Lesnar fight should have been stopped. I mean heck, the Carwin vs. Mir bout wasn't even that bad. Plus I've seen other fights get stopped for way less. IMO, Carwin got robbed that night.

Yoel Romero. He would've been the interim champ if he'd made weight before fighting Rockhold. Also missed weight so couldn't win the belt in that really close Whittaker rematch. He came so close.
