Who is the greatest BJJ fighter in UFC history?

extremerok31w ago

Without a doubt the one and only true Master by proving dominance in his performances against all those who considered themselves to be the best in the world with their skills of the art which they represented in not only the the truest way which comes by a pick a name out the hat and that's who you went out and combated regardless of height, weight or skill

extremerok31w ago

That Master is the one and only Gracie

l0rdkr3ll824mo ago

It's Damian Maia and it's not even close.

kyle.dimond4mo ago

I don't if I'd say not even close but I think I agree there's distance between him and the rest. He won so many fights with literally only jiu-jitsu

gabedoro1404mo ago

Gracie was great but he was doing it when no one knew how to defend it! Charles is the champ bye far! 12 or 13 submissions!

extremerok31w ago

It's not about who knew what they all thought they knew they were the best in the world..that was the excitement cause no fighter knew what the one who stood across from them knew.

I'd say it's a tossup between Gracie and Oliveira, then Mir. But don't forget about Werdum stopping Fedor with a triangle when Fedor was still considered unstoppable.

Frank Mir for me

Gotta be one of the toughest categories. I'd go Maia but based purely on using their BJJ in the UFC, Oliveira's got the numbers for sure

kyle.dimond8mo ago

Maia. He fought for multiple titles because of his BJJ skills alone, crazy

trentsr.starr8mo ago

Royce, fought unlimited minutes multiple times a night just to win the title. Not only were these fights unlimited in times, multiple fights, but they were against guys that were twice his size. He is a three time UFC champ before all the rules, before weight classes, and before timed rounds. None of these other guys could replicate that, no way.

jamie.theodosi8mo ago

Has to be Oliveira. He's the most exciting at least.
