Eddie Hearn believes that Ben Whittaker needs to fight someone else before taking on Dmitry Bivol in the summer of 2027. Who would be your choice of pick and why?
The winner of Buatsi vs Hutchinson 2 could be a shout 👀
markmarston9h ago
Thought Hamzah Uddin was phenomenal last night but credit to Sean Bruce who showed serious heart and a will to win. I hope he gets more opportunities to get on big shows. The lad works a full-time job alongside boxing at a high level, that’s serious commitment 👏👏
markmarston9h ago
I’d like to see Whittaker in against Anthony Yarde. Yarde is heavy handed so it forces Ben not to switch off and stayed focused. I think he needs that otherwise he gets complacent and starts to get caught as we saw last night. Sounds like they are lining up the Walace rematch tho… would rather see someone higher in level

What are your early predictions for Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua?👀
Will Joshua's huge KO power prevail, or will 'The Gypsy King's' elite footwork and movement give him the edge?
donaghcorby199720h ago
Tyson Fury will catch him on the whiskers and finish it I reckon!
kyle.dimond1d ago
Fury winning a decision seems the most likely. The one thing giving me pause is the lack of threat Fury offers and that should encourage AJ to let loose. Just not sure we’ll see that though
jordan.ellis3d ago
Could be a 3-round shootout, or a 12-round bore fest. Neither guy has it anymore, but we won't know whose more shot until fight night.
That's all from our live even, we hope you enjoyed! Roll on that night in Cardiff

Tyson Fury says he wants to face Oleksandr Usyk if he beats Anthony Joshua. What do you think the Gypsy King should do next if he wins?
markmarston4d ago
I’d like to see the winner face the winner of Wardley vs Dubois at Wembley! Makes perfect sense that, four British fighters in a mini tournament right now 👀

Fury and AJ have faced-off for the first time ahead of the blockbuster fight. What did you make of that press conference?
Underwhelmed or delivered all expectations?
jamie.theodosi4d ago
Actually quite liked the respect shown by each other tbh. But I’ve come to learn (as a UFC fan) that press conferences are the least important things ever. Often times they do absolutely nothing to drive a fight.
markmarston4d ago
These two have a lot of mutual respect for each other and you can tell they’ll be good mates after the fight. People will want more insult matches but it was good to see I thought, what’s what the sport is all about. The fight doesn’t need selling with trash talk
callum_boyle4d ago
That was remarkably underwhelming. No sense of rivalry and the constant endorsement of Turki, my mistake, ‘his excellency’ was nauseating
Dana White receives huge boos from the crowd when Turki Alalshikh references him. What do you make of the decision to not have him attend the presser?
markmarston4d ago
Dana has nowt to do with this fight but I’m sure he’ll be involved later on at pressers and it’ll be entertaining that’s for sure
jamie.theodosi4d ago
He had DWCS, that’s why he didn’t attend…👀 I think it would’ve been great if he was there
freddie4d ago
Good! Shouldn’t be near the sport
We're moments away from the first presser beginning. Is this the biggest in the sport's history since since Mayweather-Pacquiao?
markmarston4d ago
Yeah nothing comes close…
Jamie is ready to hear some of Fury's, erm, poetic descriptions of his opponent 🤣 But what are you expecting to hear from Anthony Joshua?
TalkingPoints user jamie.theodosi
jamie.theodosi4d ago
I’m hearing a lot of what I expected from Joshua. Him trying to ramp up the crowd but not doing a great job of doing so, as he isn’t the best with words😬🤣
markmarston4d ago
Clout chaser is on my bingo card
Tyson Fury says he has something big planned for this press conference, but what are you expecting from it? 🤔
dale.odonnell4d ago
Fury’s going to act the clown. Surprise, surprise.
george.patten4d ago
I am looking forward to this, but expecting it to be infuriating at the same time
harveyleonard994d ago
As with all press conferences, I’m expected a delayed start, some name calling, and a promoter getting agitated

You can match one former fighter against one current fighter. Which two would you pick and who would win?
markmarston7d ago
David Haye vs Benavidez would be interesting - Haye would be too powerful I think
jamie.theodosi7d ago
Sugar Ray Leonard vs Mayweather.
freddie7d ago
Mike Tyson vs Tyson Fury! Would be box office

The Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua fight is reportedly in doubt... what are your thoughts if this one doesn't go ahead? 😲
dale.odonnell5d ago
Oh great, more drama. Losing interest at a rapid rate.

chillout8d ago
Must be worried about the box office - just trying to drum up more interest, methinks. But not a lot of people care about this now.
amirmir8d ago
Honestly, Dana White and Eddie Hearn should just get in the ring instead. Two massive twat-faced cry babies. You would make serious money then, and this time you can have all the pounds for yourself.

Are you surprised by Dana White’s role in Fury vs. Joshua? 👀
Netflix has announced that the UFC CEO will co-promote the monumental event in Cardiff – but Eddie Hearn insists that is not happening.
simonandamy20085d ago
Can't believe I wasn't asked to provide id to see that top picture.
sidjo20225d ago
Del la Hoya cant stand him .Hearn cant stand him. Who can. He's a bluffer bully boy.

divingforseafox5d ago
I think there is no legitimate reason for Dana to be involved, there is already an experienced promoter, there is already an experienced money guy, there are already 2 boxers. Does Dana want to be the ref? Like what function is he required for? Dana is just a greedy prick and hates to think about 2 men fighting without him taking some of the money too.
IT'S FINALLY OFFICIAL!! Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua will take place on December 11th in Cardiff 💣
Let's hear those predictions!
pranav.shahaney10d ago
Eddie waited for Netflix paycheck to arrive in order to get this done. Both are past their prime and neither are the best heavyweight boxer in the world right now. Outside the UK, I do not see too much appeal for this
thetruthpersonified10d ago
2am!! Takes the P. May as well have had it in the States!!

charlesjones10d ago
Pacquiao Mayweather levels of too late. Doesn’t prove a thing for whoever wins or loses.
♥ 1
Who is the face of Boxing? For me it’s AJ. I think that Jake Paul fight made him a household name in the States, and we know he’s already a superstar in the UK.
deathshood111d ago
Jake Paul had no right being in a ring with AJ, the writing was all over the wall, and to walk away with a broken jaw for me was very lucky indeed. AJ is a complete package, the gypsy king can throw a punch and take a punch but who wants it more???? Who has the most to prove, at this point I'd have to say Tyson Fury is the underdog
jameslloyd14.jl11d ago
Worldwide it’s got to be Canelo right?
♥ 1
callum_boyle11d ago
Probably Usyk or Fury. Both globally recognised, especially the latter, even if inactive. People like Bivol, Boots, Shakur, Garcia, even Inoue and Bam are probably not the faces of the sport purely because they’re not heavyweights

How far can Chrisean Rock go in boxing after her professional debut?
Chrisean 'Holy Hands' Malone has taken to boxing at the age of 26 - can she become a champion?
donaghcorby199715d ago
Chrisean looks like a natural boxer with great fundamentals - but she needs to work on her fitness and clearly judging by her celebration the cut to 154lb was tough for her. Fix that and she can be a problem

Fury vs AJ could be held at Cardiff's Principality Stadium... but a 2am start time is being rumoured 🤔
Promoters want to cater for the US audience... but are they making a mistake?
sinerneil10d ago
Nope
thetruthpersonified11d ago
Will need one hell of an undercard!!
♥ 1
donaghcorby199717d ago
It’s on UK soil. That’s all you can do!
What next for Conor Benn? Clearly not a world level fighter at 147. I actually give him a 40/60 chance against Josh Kelly at 154. Think he’s a good fighter… ppl get carried away when a fighter loses.
callum_boyle21d ago
Benn is one of the most overrated fighters out there and it showed. Garcia said he felt no power at all and his biggest victory came against an Algieri five years past his sell by date. Likes of Vergil Ortiz, Josh Kelly and co would be laughing at an easy win if they faced him as he doesn’t have the ability to box
kyle.dimond21d ago
I’m not convinced. He skipped over a couple levels and I don’t think it was justified. The Eubank trilogy would make a lot of sense
lee.connor21d ago
Personally never really rated him. That second Eubank fight was weird as well, something wasn’t right. Carl Froch called it before in that he’s not at the world elite level and last night showed. Worryingly as well while Garcia’s good, he’s not even the best around. Benn will do well to ever get near a world title IMO

What's next for Ryan Garcia?
After a vicious knockout of Conor Benn in Las Vegas, who should Ryan Garcia face next?
markmarston21d ago

callum_boyle21d ago
Ryan wants Teo, called him out and whatever you say about his antics, he never ducks a fight. Beat Teo, then unify the division, then Shak
harvey.leonard22d ago
Teo fight would be huge
Dana White says Eddie Hearn is ‘hurting’ the AJ vs Fury fight because it seems he’s managed to stage it in the UK rather than the US…. what on earth is he on about??? 🤣🙈
callum_boyle24d ago
My anger for Dana White grows every day. He and Fury are the reasons this fight is in doubt
What’s going on ?? 🤣🙈
chillout26d ago
Joshua v Fury has as much chance of happening as West Ham winning the Prem next season.
markmarston26d ago
It will be AJ Fury at Wembley… the Mayor will allow the start time to be past midnight. That’s my prediction

What was the greatest moment of Katie Taylor's stunning boxing career now that it's over?! 🥊
GOAT bows out as a three-time undisputed world champion after beating Flora Pili
thatfan28d ago
The second Cameron fight. Was a pivotal, no lose moment for her and she delivered
♥ 1
jordan.ellis29d ago
Beating Cameron in the rematch. Career was on the line in that one and she beat the bigger fighter second time around
♥ 1
kierandoody29d ago
She’s just sold out Croke Park. Talk about finishing on top. Serrano was special for obvious reasons but what she’s just done is huge. 🇮🇪
♥ 2
Katie Taylor’s last dance this weekend… it’s going to be emotional that’s for sure. Reckon she ends on a win? 🥊
thatfan31d ago
Hopefully, for her personally would be great. Always like to see fighters bow out on a high rather than because they keep losing
Oleksandr Usyk's advisor has hinted that Usyk could fight Deontay Wilder in 2027 👀 Who comes out on top and why?
donaghcorby199731d ago
Wilder just needs that one shot, and I think he lands it!
♥ 1
markmarston34d ago
Usyk can do whatever he wants… fear for Wilder tho
♥ 1
thatfan34d ago
This would be one of the most pointless fights in history. Usyk would wipe the floor with him. He's already beaten fighters who have beaten Wilder

After winning the WBC US Silver title, Chase DeMoor is beginning to legitimately rise through the ranks at heavyweight
Do you think Chase DeMoor would have any chance with a serious heavyweight champion?
kyle.dimond34d ago
Hrgovic would beat him like he did Itauma but in this case, it would be DeMoor gassing himself out by swinging and missing instead of actually hitting him. I’d actually quite like to see it
callum_boyle34d ago
A right hand from Daniel Dubois would send him into space 😂
♥ 1
jordan.ellis35d ago
I'd like to see it. Imagine I'd feel the same satisfaction I felt after AJ broke Jake Paul's jaw.

♥ 1
After his shock defeat to Filip Hrgovic, what's next for Moses Itauma?
kyle.dimond34d ago
Just take a bit of time off and get back in there. Let the performances do the talking. He’ll be back at this level soon
♥ 1
markmarston35d ago
What’s next is a world title… let’s give him support as a country and not tear him down for it. Let’s not forget how dominant he was, little adjustments to make to be back at the top.
lee.connor36d ago
He’ll come back. He’s only 21. Took an opportunity and just came up short. Needs more tough tests under his belt then he can go again. Shows how good Dubois is with how he dispatched Hrgovic with ease.
Filip Hrgovic beats Moses Itauma in a boxing epic🔥Give us your reaction to that 👀
kyle.dimond34d ago
Stunned that Hrgovic took those shots and that Moses and his team didn’t adjust. Massive oversight to not realize Hrgovic wasn’t going anywhere
♥ 1
zburek235d ago
I honestly doubt Moses Itauma will ever reach the top tier of heavyweight boxing. Looking back, there was just way too much hype built around him far too early. I just hope he didn't take any lasting damage from that fight.
harvey.leonard36d ago
Unexpected. But that is what happens when an inexperienced fighter pushes too hard too soon.
I cannot believe that Dubois vs Wardley 2 has been sanctioned this early. There is no way that Wardley has had enough time to recover from that brutal war. Really fear the worst for it
markmarston36d ago
Yeah I understand why Wardley wants it but it’s a terrible idea to chuck him straight back in with Dubois let alone the timing of it
It’s Moses Itauma vs Filip Hrgovic for the IBF heavyweight title! What are your expectations for the fight? 🥊
markmarston36d ago
Itauma gets it done early. Too fast, too agile, too strong, too skilful. Cmon Moses!! And the new
jordan.ellis37d ago
Itauma is the future and he’s gonna prove it by making easy work of his toughest opponent yet
♥ 1
jonathan.gorrie37d ago
Itauma all the way for me
♥ 1
What did everyone make of AJ’s comeback win against Prenga last night?
amirmir70d ago
Not a good look, but at the end of thr day, it's a warm up for his, ten years too late, fight against Fury. All a shambles, tbh.
♥ 2
Who wins between Conor Benn and Ryan Garcia?
ntty1ne22d ago
Garcia. The talent is undeniable. Good luck kid. No stress...FOCUS... SIMPLE.
darlenehamilton41324d ago
Im gonna go within Garcia. He is fast....we will see
stgeorge566624d ago
Am hoping Benn wins! but I think Garcia will be way too good for him and stop him quite early.
It is Justin Gaethje vs three boxing stars at the 2026 ESPY Awards — who should win? 👊
getvickiwatson46d ago
Gaethje all day in the CAGE, but the square ring is a different kind of beast, one that Crawford will get the win in.
harvey.leonard100d ago
In a public vote, it's hard to imagine that a name like Crawford won't get the most, especially after how big the Canelo fight was. But on merit it should be Gaethje
♥ 1
jordan.ellis101d ago
Justin should win, but I think Crawford will get it.
Should Usyk hang up his gloves after coming so close to defeat in his last fight!!!!!
No comments yet. Be the first.
I was having a bit of a think about where AJ sits in the heavy weight landscape at the moment… and it led me onto ranking the 10 best heavyweights in the world… I’d love to see how yours compares to mine 🤔
markmarston124d ago
That’s my list… open to change tho. 1. Usyk 2. Dubois 3. Fury 4. Kabayel 5. AJ 6. Itauma 7. Rico 🤷♂️ 8. Wardley 9. Sanchez 10. Hrgovic
Was Holly Holm robbed in her rematch with Stephanie Han?
hrpffnstuff52d ago
She robbed herself by letting it go to the judges. Should have trained harder because judges have their own opinions, you shouldn't be counting on them to score your fight the way YOU see it.
♥ 1
kyle.dimond124d ago
I had Holm but robbery gets thrown around too much. These two Han fights have been a nightmare for Holly.
♥ 1
jordan.ellis126d ago
Just book Holm vs Taylor.
Who should Oleksandr Usyk's next opponent be? 🤔
kyle.dimond131d ago
I think at the very least they owe Rico a rematch. Either Usyk will figure him out much faster or he'll get robbed again but at least it'll be another bigger payday. Itauma feels like a pipe dream though I do think the Kabayel fight would be fun.
jamie.theodosi134d ago
I want to see him fight Itauma, even though it’s not gonna happen
dale.odonnell134d ago
Rico rematch 🥊
Should Rico Verhoeven stick with boxing or try something else?
kyle.dimond131d ago
I'd be so interested to see what he can do in MMA but if I was a member of his team after that performance, I'd be banning those three letters from even being spoken about. More money in boxing and he's clearly got the skills.
jamie.theodosi134d ago
I want to see him in MVP MMA against Ngannou. Makes too much sense.
dale.odonnell134d ago
Stick to the boxing I say.
