After his shock defeat to Filip Hrgovic, what's next for Moses Itauma?

Just take a bit of time off and get back in there. Let the performances do the talking. He’ll be back at this level soon

What’s next is a world title… let’s give him support as a country and not tear him down for it. Let’s not forget how dominant he was, little adjustments to make to be back at the top.

He’ll come back. He’s only 21. Took an opportunity and just came up short. Needs more tough tests under his belt then he can go again. Shows how good Dubois is with how he dispatched Hrgovic with ease.

Massive change in attitude. You can't just KO everyone. If he realized that, he would've won last night.

There were red flags when Itauma said he’s never even tried sparring 12 rounds. Pushed too hard too soon. Time to build back up and adjust things behind the scenes

Can’t believe he didn’t have people in his team telling him to fix up when he was saying stuff like that. Horrendously immature attitude

Not sure it was such a shock. I said yesterday that he was clearly stepping up in terms of a class opponent, and that a lot of people were seriously underestimating Hrgovic.

Before any opponent his first decision has to be with his coaching team. That’s three times Ben Davison fighters have lost their big battle through his poor game plan. All he needed to do was box smartly after round four and he’d have won that. Conditioning and learning to box for long periods of time must also be his priority
