Yep, very weak in the spine vs Millwall. Too many players shirking the physicality. Lucky we’ve got so much talent up too
At least we didn't lose

Haha that’s my view 🤣I’d have taken a point every day of the week after that first half
What is the reason we dont meet up in the first 60 minutes almost every time ? Dressing room problem ? I am sure Nuno must be replaced...Now ! Its like we play without any plan ..its all up to individual execution....dosent work in modern football.

I’m not sure I agree - we have scored 16 league goals already in the first 60 mins of games this term. We were ahead in 3 of our 8 league games at half time. I think it’s the opposite - we get ourselves in trouble when Nuno fiddles around. When he gives the players freedom to play, we win. Yesterday was different - hopefully a one off. Terrible in first half
the way we played the first half is the reason we came down last season, but the second half was better and in the end we come away with a point and got to fight first in this league to let our football do the rest

Our defence is so easily bullied by physcial teams. If we do go up, two reliable centre backs are an absolute must For now, I’m just glad we’ve got the firepower to escape from situations like this. And how good did Kante look!

I think it might be a blessing in disguise. A dose of reality. This league will not be a cakewalk.
Hopeless first half 0/10 second half 5/10 Nuno 1st Half 0/10 2nd 7/10

Phew. Thankfully we woke up and showed up the 2nd half. Definitly a game of 2 halves. I was on tge edge of my seat.

Spot on, that - at least Nuno had the sense to change shape and bring on the subs at the break! Dread to think what would’ve happened if he hadn’t
It ends 2-2 in the derby! What did you make of that?
At least the fight back is a positive!

Millwall away one of the toughest fixtures in the league - decent result. Move on

We just cannot keep conceding 2 goals virtually every game, it will cost us in the end! Perhaps it’s time for Nuno to man up and play Alverez in front of the back 4, we have been crying out for a quality CDM all season.

defending in the first half was diabolical kilman was poor turned his back to the first goal need to make changes and fast to our defense drop kilman we showed no fight in the first half to sluggish all over the pitch why we keep playing slow build up and keep passing sideways football is beyond me we have never been a full 90 minute team always good in one
Red card! Kante is sent off!
89' - Awful mistake. Caught in possession and then takes down the Millwall player when he's bearing down on goal.

No shortage of drama. 🔥🔥
GOOOAAL!! 2-2! Mavropanos equalises!
79' - The big defender heads in from a fine Solomon cross!
dale.odonnell15d ago
This could be a huge comeback 👀

Bailed out! He’s been abysmal defensively but my god Mavropanos is absolutely prolific right now
Goal! Mo Kante halves the deficit!
74' - Great finish from a Pablo assist.
dantowen8195115d ago
Fair play to the subs! They’ve made a big impact
Two goals down at the break. What did you make of that first half? 😳
What changes need to be made?
dancoombs15d ago
What is going on Millwall just want it more
jordan.harris15d ago
Pathetic performance
trevorbisdee15d ago
Goalie and central defenders are supposed to be the spine of the team; spineless in every sense
Goal. Millwall score again. 2-0. 45+3
Dreadful defending.
No comments yet. Be the first.
Goal for Millwall - Caleb Taylor 16'

If he hadn’t cleaned Mav out on the edge of the box coming for a ball he was never going to get, Mav would have still been on the pitch, and might have be there to help.
dantowen8195115d ago
Abysmal defending. Hermansen makes two excellent saves and still no one else deals with it
Here's our team to face Millwall! Thoughts?
Can we get the job done?
gordon1davison15d ago
Tierney seems reluctant to give a yellow card to Millwall
dantowen8195115d ago
Hermansen looks a bit flappy here! Hope he calms down…
ross.stewart197016d ago
Piroe brace and Mavropanos to score again!💪
We've predicted West Ham's XI against Millwall - what changes would YOU make? 👀

We must find a new replacement for kilman he's a liability.
dantowen8195116d ago
Morato 100%. His physicality will be massively important. Pablo is an intriguing one - I wouldn’t blame Nuno if he went for that extra work ethic while hoping Pablo can build on his goal v Fulham

This West Ham fan has named some of the players who HAVE to play vs Millwall, but which players do you think are undroppable and why?
terrynorwood2494616d ago
Leave Pablo in the changing room !
nickdomjan17d ago
We need experience, and because of the history between the clubs I'd like to see Alvarez restored as a starter, also to play Bowen and Taty centrally with Solomon and Austbo as wingers.

Bowen and Solomon will take West Ham to the title

Confusion amongst midfielders and defence against Fulham we simply must help each other out.
cumberworth5718d ago
Same 11 as Wrexham, would like to see Magassa and Alverez on the bench to offer some midfield muscle if needed
freddie18d ago
Can’t wait for this. Doesn’t matter who he picks, gonna smack em! 🔥
