Talk Leeds United

If Leeds had been cheating on the scale that City have, as a fan would you stand by the club or be ashamed to be associated with it?

Who is the most underrated Leeds player of the Premier League era, and why? 🤔

freddie3d ago

One name I haven’t seen anyone say! Stuart Dallas? Some player he was!

dale.smith2110633d ago

Joe Rodon

caleb.sage4d ago

I love Ampadu. He can do different things and play in different systems. Developed into a leader as well. Deserves more acknowledgement outside of Leeds.

In light of Muharemovic's goal for B&H the other night, how do you think he's done so far in a Leeds shirt?

jordan.harris4d ago

So impressed with him so far! Looks incredibly reliable and then has a fantastic last ditch challenge in him if required. What we had in Pontus Jansson, but obviously significantly better

Leeds and Daniel Farke have had a brilliant start to the season, but what needs to be done to ensure this good start continues?

kevindougherty19575d ago

the most influential is currently Captain Ethan ampadu..but about to be eclipsed by Tarik the Bosnian Tiger Muharemovic...but there are a slew of shared others..JJ could easily Captain this team Nico elvedi and so on...

will.butcher6d ago

Keep Ampadu, DCL, Tarik and Traff fit, get Rodon back and we’ll be alright. There will be difficult spells, arsenal and man u next will show us where we’re really at

Don’t fix what isn’t broken

A Champions League semi-final, 16 seasons in the lower leagues, and a dramatic restoration to the Premier League - that’s been Leeds United over the last 26 years. But who has been the most influential player during that period - Phillips, Hernandez, Viduja, Beckford, Becchio ? Have your say and explain why.

amirmir6d ago

All true Leeds fans know it's Izzy Brown for his two minutes off the bench against Frank Lampard's Derby in the play-off semi-final.

♥ 1

peter.lynch6d ago

Where’s the Stuart Dallas love? Best player to ever put on the shirt 😉

will.butcher6d ago

Hernandez. Absolutely no question, his genius, combined with Bielsa, ended a 16-year wait for PL football

Do you think DCL will start against Chechia on Tuesday?

freddie7d ago

I hope so! Deserves a shot at it

will.butcher7d ago

Absolutely - would like to see him and Kane up top, or Kane in the 10 behind him

chillout7d ago

How did everyone rate Trafford's performance last night?

freddie7d ago

Pickford shouldn’t have been dropped IMO, he’s still better. Trafford will be ready after the Euros

will.butcher7d ago

He might not have proved he is on pickford’s level just yet, but the fact he started is proof his leeds move has worked

jonathan.gorrie7d ago

There is still nothing to suggest he's going to be as good as Pickford

How do you assess Leeds United's start to the season?

What has worked, and what needs improving? 🤔

nic.edge.bsa5d ago

Amazing,I like Daniel Farke think there's more to come mot

tonynpatwalsh6d ago

looking good

hysted6d ago

A great start but it's how u finish that counts never less Super Leeds utd

Leeds' next five games including a mouth watering derby against our fierce rivals 👀 What are your expectations from this run of games?

How many points will we pick up?

brookegeorge587d ago

5-6 points

geir10d ago

7 points easy

freddie12d ago

8 points for me! Wins vs Palace and United, draws with Bournemouth and Sunderland

View 4 more comments

The last time Leeds sat in third or higher in the Premier League was in September 2002 (they were second). Unfortunately Leeds finished 15th that season - fans are expecting a lot higher finish this season.

kilham.max19d ago

A top half finish is surely going to transpire this season. They looked utterly fantastic last night and DCL is a bully in the box!

kyle.dimond20d ago

There has been so much change in the league this season that I think Leeds slipped under my radar. Not anymore though. Building.

markmarston20d ago

Palace at home up next as well… anticipating another win there. The table will look very pretty during this three-week international break 👀

It’s important that Leeds get a result on Monday - leaking 6 against Chelsea in the EFL Cup was a blow. An immediate response is required. On the last 5 occasions Leeds have faced Newcastle in the league, they have won 1, lost 2 and drawn two.

gomatz7720d ago

Leeds are always a scary team to play. With DCL playing well, who knows might make a push to Europe. Some good additions made to the team as well

markmarston20d ago

I’m always seeing some turn on Farke… nothing new. Do feel like a result is needed at home to calm the fans down

james.brooke21d ago

I don’t think it’ll be a disaster if they get beat at all, but they shouldn’t be worried about facing anyone at Elland Road at the minute. Think it’ll be a draw

♥ 1

Michael Zetterer won't be sleeping tonight after that debut... 🫨

Do you agree?

camerondesc125d ago

I’d say these are fair, the drop off in goalkeeping is huge

jordan.harris25d ago

Now I’ve calmed down a bit, should add Bard looked really impressive for a debut

jordan.harris25d ago

I was actually optimistic about him after the first half, but it’s like he can’t dive to his right 😂😂

♥ 1

The first time Leeds have conceded six goals under Daniel Farke. What just happened?!

Chelsea score six second-half goals to beat Leeds 6-3.

camerondesc125d ago

Chelsea’s attack is just elite, and Leeds didn’t exactly field a great team

jordan.harris25d ago

The only criticism of Farke during his tenure has been being so slow to react. He’s got so much better, but that was really poor tonight, waiting until we’d conceded four before making a change. The defence fell apart too obviously

♥ 1

Has Daniel Farke truly surpassed Marcelo Bielsa's Elland Road legacy, or do the stats lie?

Farke's overall PPM at Leeds is 1.88, Bielsa's is only 1.61...

wharfedaletrain6d ago

Marcelo was a great person, as well as a great manager. He had principles and stuck too them - and made sure his team did. He was, and is, great, in my opinion. No other manager has EVER told his team to let the opposition score a goal on a matterof priciple.

♥ 1

richardblakeley55524d ago

At this point in Bielsa's tenure Leeds were on the downward slide. There's a good chance of the reverse for Farke.

deljohnson4324d ago

Look at the stats DF for sure.

CHELSEA V LEEDS: What are your predictions for tonight's clash? 🏆

Farke has only beaten Chelsea once - last season's 3-1 win at Elland Road.

dantowen8195125d ago

2-0 Leeds win over Alonso’s random grab-bag of unknown kids

markmarston26d ago

Going to pens I reckon… Leeds get it done with Trafford making himself a hero 👀

jordan.harris26d ago

2-0 win Stephen McPhail style

PROVE ME WRONG: Leeds are a better side when Ao Tanaka starts, simple as that 🤷‍♂️

whitesgmnz26d ago

Not against Brighton, he wasn't

markmarston26d ago

Such a technically gifted footballer but who does he replace in the starting XI?

liziovella26d ago

Tanaka over Stach anytime as a holding mf

View 6 more comments

Can't say I wasn't worried but excellent result , congrats to those responsible.

christophernott197926d ago

Brilliant performance should of been 3 points but would have definitely taken 1 point before the game got to keep AO in the side looking good MOT now farke needs anew contact

DISCUSS: Bahoya could be Leeds' best signing of the window 🤔

Rapid.

jordan.harris31d ago

The fact that there’s so many contenders is awesome! Tarik for me, I don’t think we’ll be able to keep him for too long

dantowen8195131d ago

Considering the news about Rodon, Elvedi might be in with a shout…

caleb.sage31d ago

Still Trafford for me.

♥ 2

LEEDS V BRIGHTON: What are your predictions for Saturday's clash?

Daniel Farke can make history with a win.

jonathan.gorrie30d ago

I'm backing Leeds for a statement win

whitesgmnz31d ago

Draw would be a great result

dantowen8195131d ago

I’m gonna say 2-1 Leeds win. Brighton have a bit of an injury crisis going on now and Hurzeler got his defensive tactics all wrong vs Chelsea

♥ 1

BARD AND BEHOYA: How would you rank Leeds United's business on deadline day? 🏆

Leeds have signed both on loan, but they could cost a combined £31m.

frederickp32d ago

I'm over the moon with the signings and pretty sure that this will at least keep us in a good position, if not put us in Europe. I've always said, we need pace and energy and by all accounts Behoya is almost as fast as Usain Bolt, that's a WOW!

♥ 1

dantowen8195132d ago

Good. The squad to me seems very complete now with great depth across all positions. This is a very, very solid Prem side now

♥ 1

dakir.thanveer33d ago

Solid signings, addresses key problems. I think Leeds have had one of the best windows among PL teams this summer

♥ 2

RODON INJURED: How many signings do Leeds need before the deadline? 💰

Rodon's injury could be a bad one, according to Farke.

kevindougherty195735d ago

3 players has now become 4..9 a CM a CB right winger and an attacking mid..

eoin35d ago

Already needed one centre back, might need to sign two now

markmarston35d ago

Feel like Leeds need a striker, winger and now two cbs. Lot of business to do. Not ideal at all

♥ 1

LEEDS 1-1 BRENTFORD: Who impressed you the most? 🤔

Leeds stay unbeaten as Dominic Calvert-Lewin scores late on.

will.butcher35d ago

Unreal second half. Tanaka and Elvedi class, Farke working his wonders from the touchline again - deserves more praise

♥ 1

jordan.harris35d ago

Elvedi may be an unbelievable signing. Thought he was class today

♥ 3

jackdrury35d ago

DCL just bags goals doesn’t he. Underrated to have someone that consistent, brilliant player

LEEDS V BRENTFORD: Can Leeds maintain their 100% record? 📈

Predictions below!

wacker36d ago

2 nil leeds easy

lrandall121037d ago

I can see a draw. Two teams that both look dangerous and set up brilliant, be a tight one

♥ 1

peter.lynch37d ago

Going boring and saying draw in this one, can’t see them being separated

ZETTERER INCOMING: Who do you want Leeds to sign next? 🤔

will.butcher37d ago

Just get Paixao in and be done with it

The last time Leeds played a team in successive matches and won on both occasions was against Anderlecht in the Champions League in February 2001 - Leeds won 2-1 at Elland Road and 4-1 away at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium in Brussels.

chillout38d ago

It took 25 years for history to repeat itself with the victories against Forest these last few days.

will.butcher38d ago

Europe inbound

PLAYER RATINGS: Dan James was easily our best, but do you agree with the rest? 🤔

Okafor and Nmecha need a bit of luck...

johnbosano37d ago

Nemecha's best overall performance in a Leeds shirt, surely an 8 or 9

will.butcher39d ago

James has just saved his Leeds spell

LEEDS BEAT FOREST AGAIN! What are your immediate reactions to the 2-0 win? 😍

In the hat for third round of the Carabao Cup!

christophernott197939d ago

BRILLIANT performance and wjll only get better as the season goes on get a couple more through the door and the only way is up &and give farke a new contact, Leeds Leeds Leeds MOT

margot.mb9039d ago

Great (of course !!!)

philpatterson245439d ago

Dan James idk like to see some more before I decide mabe hang fire till January

PREDICTED XI V FOREST: What do you think of our pick? 🤔

Seven changes from Saturday's 1-0 win.

will.butcher41d ago

Shame Gnonto is missing

JUSTIN V GABI: When Gudmundsson is fit, who starts at left wing-back? 🥷

johnbosano42d ago

wE HAVE 3 EXCELLENT FULL BACKS, THE ONLY WAY TO KEEP jUSTIN HAPPY AND AT THE CLUB IS FOR HIM TO CONTINUE COVERING BOTH FLANKS AND GETTING AS MUCH PLAYING TIME AS HE CAN GET, BYRAM WASNT NEEDED ONCE LAST SEASON AND eLVEDIA SEEMS A BETTER OPTION AT CENTRE BACK THAN THE IMPROVING BONNAU, SO JUSTIN DOESNT NEED TO COVER AT CENTRE HALF. EXCELLENT BUY,

Hand Daniel Farke a new contract NOW! 📈

will.butcher39d ago

It’s about time - this man has made Leeds a reliable club again

The last time Leeds beat Nottingham Forest on the opening day of the season, we won the 1991-92 League title 👀😂

leeclarke050843d ago

A 0-0 that Forest contrived to lose. Bad defending and worse goalkeeping. Not sure Leeds should dust the passport off just yet and likewise not sure there's too much to overly worry about for Forest either.

jordan.harris43d ago

We are winning the lot!!

View all replies

What are your instant reactions to that win?

johnbosano42d ago

Brilliant inpenetrable defence but needed extra man in midfield and our only other in form striker Nemecha up front, we need Fleming better record and can play as a 10, watch him against hAMMERS AD NOT THE USELESS deLAP

caleb.sage42d ago

Leeds should be safe this season. I know Hull and Ipswich have just had good wins but still don’t fancy them or Coventry to stay up.

jackgallagher43d ago

New signings impressed! Good business done, fancy a European push this year

View 6 more comments

Leeds interest in delap for 40m would be a waste not set premier league alight with Chelsea 1 goal maybe 15m but 40 no

No comments yet. Be the first.

Farke please check out Fleming last performances, He's a big upgrade in attack, the best option available

dantowen8195143d ago

Couldn’t agree more. I love Flemming. Think he could play in behind DCL really effectively too

p.pretty343d ago

Totally agree

Would Mudryk be a good buy on loan I your opinion?

p.pretty343d ago

Predicted XI to face Forest: Would you make any changes? 🤔

johnbosano42d ago

532 same defence, bring on Elvedi some time in 2nd half for Bijol who's still not back to his best took too long to feed justin. add Longstaff to ampadu and Stack, play nemecha and DCL winning partnership to give us more presence up front and feed the full backs quicker and more times. No problem

kiwimike1237942d ago

dantowen8195145d ago

Happy with this. I really like Wilson as a number ten next to a wing back. More space to get those famous shots away

BOGLE AND RODON SIGN ON: Who else would you like to get a new contract? ⭐

mkiss99731d ago

For me I would have kept willy and got rid of James his injuries kept nim out for almost half the season

will.butcher46d ago

In terms of players, Brendy and DCL. Farke needs a new deal too
