Man Utd vs Ipswich Town: Reaction to 5-2 victory at Old Trafford

tim.sheila.ryan34d ago

.Luke Shaw was a starter in every game last season and like all footballers made a few mistakes, this season even he admitted he was at fault for the 1st Ipswich goal on Sunday so having made the fastest sprint also shows he is still fit and has not lost his commitment to Manchester United Fc. So just give the man your support as long as he does his job righ

Luke has been awesome when fit (granted that's not very often) but he was the best lb in the Prem. The years have caught up with him now, but that happens to everyone. We should have been in for Hall at the start of the window.

geldroper34d ago

Who cares if he can't stop players at the left.

So disappointed with Man. U's first half showing. It was just like watching a film in slow motion. It was also stop-start game, as if they did not have the energy to run.Luckily all that changed in the second half.

Kombination Manoo je bistro, njegovo mjesto je u prvom timu, kao starter kako u Man.Unaitedu, tako i u Reprezentaciji.Tuchel, napravio je katastrofalnu gresku nedajuci povjerenje Manoou.. U

I find it really annoying that Amorin is getting mentioned as the person who transformed Kobbie. Kobbie was first name on the team sheet for England during the Euros. Amourin stifled Kobbies development.

cliffmurphy200635d ago

Kobbie has tobe the first name on the team sheet, when Carrick is picking his best eleven for future games.

He is a great player, he is fitting in the team

willysauti535d ago

Carrick should try Mainoo and Santos combination against Everton FC.

dale.odonnell35d ago

Tidy display from our new signing. The type of game that perfectly suited the midfield duo Carrick went with. 👏

stephenjholmes135d ago

This is the most crazy rule in the game at the moment. It is open to interpretation from VAR and individuals. It should be a "black and white" rule. Fortunately it didn't effect the result , but on another day.....

I think it would have been harsh if it was ruled out. Right call for me

dazzy328134d ago

Thought Tielemans better than mainoo , and how is Rashford had a vote ffs

dazzy328134d ago

Seriously cannot believe how overrated Rashford is , would prefer Sesko , Everytime. ,problems will arise when Rashford doesnt start match. ,and turns dressing room against Carrick . His ego writes cheques he cant cash

Bruno Fernandez

geldroper34d ago

Corefect, Martinez was so bad Cost us a goal and stopped the game when he had the ball. Had no clue what todo with it. Put Heaven or Yoro in instead of him and use him as a sub and sell him in january

antowzky35d ago

Relief... A lot of anxiety at 0-1. Makes me kind of sad though to see Lacey left on the bench. If you're not going to put youngsters on the pitch when its 5-1 against Ipswich, then when? :(

seadvegar35d ago

IiJIasAMOROpet stari nerjeseni problemi.

cantonalives35d ago

Bruno was incredible. The assist for Mbeumo was as good as anything we have seen from KDB!!

markmarston35d ago

If the Ballon d’Or was done on individual permanence rather than team success… Bruno Fernandes would have a real chance of winning it this year. Incredible footballer

That's game over. Good second half from United after a poor first. They've done exactly what you need to in this situation, play with intensity/intent and get the crowd up until they're on top of the opponent

david.comerford35d ago

Rules enforced correctly but what a silly rule that is

seanfisher35d ago

What a weird VAR mess... because Maguire missed his shot it counts haha

seanfisher35d ago

We still just look like we're in 3rd gear, but the surge of energy after we scored gave me hope. Our season starts now!

Shocking from Shaw for the goal, but feel that goal from Fernandes will inspire a comeback win. UTFR!

I notice the following. Something is not working with the pressing. They absolutely cannot synchronize to all press at the same time. Tielemans, I don’t know what to say, he isn’t confident. He looks to me like some kind of technician at the twilight of his career. Kobbie dances across the pitch, and he is by far our best player. Maybe I would only replace L

That was a ridiculously good finish from Bruno. We got a bit lucky with the Ipswich mistake, did well to capitalise

geldroper35d ago

Shaw is getting passed all the time, and sorry someone should tell Dalot that he is a right back and cover that side.We have enough trouble with Shaw and Martinez to have to worry that he does his job.
