I find it really annoying that Amorin is getting mentioned as the person who transformed Kobbie. Kobbie was first name on the team sheet for England during the Euros. Amourin stifled Kobbies development.

Mainoo stood out in this game, Even in that embarrassing first half when everyone else was still trying to shake off the Hull City Hangover(performance) Kobbie Mainoo was there rugged, taking the ball from his slow defenders and drive forward with purpose gave it to his unconfident strikers.

It certainly moves the dial. Maybe not much, but to be a top player you need to perform consistently well. That road starts somewhere and against someone. Does not only start against big teams. I would suggest team irrelevant. If he performed well in a single match and was Arsenal, so what! Also, the lad played well in an FA cup final etc.

The way Kobbie has been treated by Amorim and Tuchel shows Kobbie 's character i do and have always rated Kobbie highly, I rated him man of the match before the game.

Kobbie did not "just" make Tuchel look foolish. Tuchel looked foolish from the moment he introduced Henderson ahead of Kobbie in the Group!! Oh, also foolish for taking Madueke over Cole Palmer, let alone then playing him!!
