Just what are we to do with Dibling? Loan seems the logical answer, we do need a winger that scores goals! Summerville would be perfect especially if West Ham go down. Him Ndiaye George & Heath, our 4 wingers next season! 😀⚽💙
callum_boyle146d ago
Need to see him in pre-season again. Can’t sell him as it would result in a huge loss but equally, can’t imagine him fancying a loan to the Championship as he’ll think he’s better than that
If we go into next season with Tarks Nd Kean as centre backs we are in trouble, Both are slow and hesitant Moyes needs to play O'brien and Branthwaite with 2 proper full backs Either give Patterson a chance ir buy a traditional Right back and Either give Aznou a chance or find a better left back instead of Mykelenko ( that shouldn't be too difficult)
scott.shalani150d ago
I'm sick & tired of saying this, I love O'brien but he's a natural centre back END OF ???? & we've had a natural right back all season sat on bench & he's a good crosser aswel ? Unbelievable
dantowen81951150d ago
I wonder why Aznou hasn’t had more of a chance
brogan151d ago
Completely agree with you mate. Patto will be off this summer so can forget about him. Simply have to sign full-backs though
Was in the right place at the right time like all good goal scorers are certainly took both opportunities well and if only illy had put one away or we were given the rightful pen would have won the game. Beto had obviously soften up there central defenders as they took their eyes of the ball twice and were punished.
tom.procter151d ago
Was an off night in front of goal for Ndiaye wasn’t it! Still stunned Bernardo Silva got away with that wrestling on Rohl 💀who you starting vs Palace this weekend mate, Barry or Beto?
Scored a couple of tap ins but his overall game is shocking! Can't control the ball and is as ungainly as any player I've seen. Loses possession constantly.. just not Prem level for me
tom.procter152d ago
He is rough around the edges to say the least. A lot of work to be done with him. Reckon Moyes keeps him around for next season or gets rid?
callum_boyle152d ago
He’s enfuriating because, on paper, he looks more than capable. I want to be optimistic but it’s a struggle watching him at times
♥ 1
If you was to sell the pair Beto and Barry for around 35 million you could get 3 29 year-old strikersfor less than 10 million that would be better than Beto and that would call her our European the premiership and the cup run for next season and moyes wouldn’t need help of friedkin group
brogan152d ago
Don't think there's any excuse to pinch pennies when it comes to adding a striker this summer. I want to see a proven name added and no excuses made
♥ 2
carlhully004152d ago
That is less than10 million for each
As I see it, Alcaraz need not go anywhere he could be the replacement for Dewsbury Hall or he can play striker and he can play centre midfield. He is quite a versatile player for next season see him still being at Everton I don’t see why he couldn’t be he’s no less talented
williamsdave959152d ago
Why is he replacing kdh
ajmiller17th152d ago
He can easy be false No 9, Moyes needs to give him more chances
photographerofkilkenny152d ago
Agreed. We don't have to sell anybody right now
Beto has only come with the goals two seasons now from the start of the New Year until the end of the season
photographerofkilkenny152d ago
One good thing - the purple patch is coming at thr right time, we can look for 40 million each for Beto and Barry now! We should be putting the word around they're going to be up for sale to the highest bidder!
brogan152d ago
Purple patch player to say the least

Do we all owe this man an apology after his performance against Man City? 👀
Credit where it's due, he was absolutely fantastic! 👏
tbrookes157148d ago
Not at all! He's a joke!
bobtaylz64151d ago
Don't think we should apologise for someone who hasn't done the basics all season. Holding the ball up is the basics for a striker. Fair play to him for coming good but we've needing a STRIKERS for years.Every other team has 3/4strikers we always make do with 2.

mkevans77151d ago
No..He still has a lot to prove..Everton could have taken all 3 points if Charley Alcaraz hadn't backed away from Doku..If he'd got along side Doku to block his shot Everton would have Won the Game..That's a FACT!!
With the amount of money WASTED by the Negative Scottish Clown 🤡 in last 2 windows(apart from K.D.H) I might be wrong but he wasted more money than, Brighton, Bournemouth & Brentford ? These massive clubs always produce world class players have Excellent recruitment teams, coaching teams, I suppose being a smaller club than them, this will always happen ?

To all delusional Evertonian sheep, I hold my hands up & I apologise for being over critical about your negative Scottish clown manager ? Bcos he has equaled his best points total against the top teams, a whopping 7 points ? This was his best the last time IT was ere ? So we'll done you Negative Scottish Clown 🤡

You do realise its a league table. He has done a good job since he cameback. How many points has he won against those outside the sky 6 probably be 7th, unfortunately we have to play everybody twice.

Another penalty decision not going in Everton's favour? 🫣
Bernardo Silva wasn't even looking at the ball 🤷♂️
confirmme74151d ago
That ref lastnight in charge of Bayern v PSG who had a great game reminded me of Pawson, Oliver, Kavanagh,Collina and Clattenburg.
phildonegan5151d ago
Ray Charles would have noticed.

Michael Oliver is corrupt and not fit for purpose. To think he and his two sheep are representing us at the world cup!? Surely we can get this stopped? People power? It seems most clubs have a grip about the dodgy git.

Thoughts on Barry after that cameo? Think he looked pretty lively. The goals clearly helped but whole body language looked a lot better i think. Maybe he does have a future after all? 👀👀
mark.marston153d ago
Yeah tbf 8 PL goals in his debut season isn't so bad at all, if he gets to double figures than it's been a decent year

This is becoming a real issue for Everton and costing them valuable points! 😭

The negative Scottish clown bottling S..T house
rhsmyth151d ago
The 3rd goal nobody closed down Doku shambolic defending 4/5 players just looking at him schoolboy stuff fcs ! Tarks making too many errors lately maybe ?
♥ 1
mkevans77151d ago
Tarkowski slipped as he was attempting to stop Doku shooting. It's a pity Alcaraz didn't close him down to prevent Doku shooting instead Alcaraz turned his back. And Doku grabbed a point for City. Alcaraz needs to man up like Obrien Tarkowski and Keane. It's called blocking..a simple school boy Error by Alcaraz cost Everton all 3 points.
So frustrating that. Barry obviously did well scoring twice but his hold up play at the end there was shocking Why did nobody think to take the ball into the corner?! 😡
calum_jones153d ago
Apolgised after failing to fold up the ball to the west stand! Got to work harder physically there.

Think tonight is a reflection of how little we are away from being a top 6 side (arguably top 4). Can’t think of another side who would’ve put up a fight like that against Man City tonight
mark.marston153d ago
With a bit more pace at the back, we win that game. Need a pacy cb in the summer
robi153d ago
Yeah. We had so many other chances too. Ndiaye had at least two. Could easily have been 4 - 1 at one stage 🫣
♥ 1
Proud of them lot tonight.
robi153d ago
Brilliant 2nd half performance. Night and day. Gutted to let it slip in the last minute. Deserved all 3 points I think. Pleased for Barry too. Much better performance than of late

What are your thoughts on this XI to face Man City? 🤔
Some big changes from Moyes!
moeratanwar68153d ago
Can only be Everton who ruins your evening. Third game we concede in the dying minutes. Ndiyyyyae was a waste. Against city we must stop running backwards. Our players were dead towards the end. Should have brought on dibbling or George. Not Patterson. Moyes is a idiot
ajmiller17th153d ago
Good to see McNeil is missing from that list, and Gana losing it recently, so fresh legs, good, and big Tim having a start for once. Not sure on back four but guess we not got many options
♥ 1
calum_jones153d ago
Can’t really understand the winger situation 🤔
I think Barry could be developed as a right winger in his first full preseason - he should play with the Under 21s until then.
ajmiller17th153d ago
Why bother with Barry in any position, he just cannot settle with pace of Premier League, so doesn't matter where he is played, he won't adapt, needs slower European league.
brogan154d ago
Issue is U21s are in a knockout tournament now. They're in the semi-final - so they've got two games absolute max left this season

How much confidence have you got in Moyes to get three points against City? 🫣
Not the most encouraging of comments ahead of the game... 😭
ajmiller17th153d ago
No confidence at all
photographerofkilkenny154d ago
I have confidence in Moyes to play defensive against City, yes!
callum_boyle154d ago
Better ways of phrasing it
Not going down & 100trillion % not going Europe, unless the Scottish clown 🤡 buys the lads flights to Ibza as a treat for being bang average my team: King Patterson, Tarkowski, O brain, Azonu Iroegbunam Armstrong, Garner, K.D.H, George Graham

Rohl not even on your bench?
If we finish lower than 13th (a distinct possibility),no trophies, lose DCL on a free and buy Barry, does securing premier league status early count as progress? I think not! 🤬
rod.52154d ago
There is no way that Calvin-Lewin is suddenly a possibility for this World Cup because he’s been scoring goals all of a sudden, didn’t want to play for us because he didn’t get a payday increase Do you know how much he’s getting at Leeds 😡

Europe may prove to be a step too far but to say we have not made any progress is just silly imo. We have been well better than previous seasons. Massive Summer ahead though need to push on. UTFT

scott.shalani155d ago
The Scottish clown 🤡 never plays youth, maybe in 10yrs time ? If we haven't already sold him & keeps scoring while we still fall apart in final 3rd ?????
To get beat by West ham one of the worst teams in the league was disappointing and I think the other worst team spurs will do the same everton love helping old colleagues out
photographerofkilkenny155d ago
So let's help our old player Arteta on Monday night, Park the bus, bully them, beat them back, 4-5-1 with Rohl and Tim starting, nDiaye dashing up front if and when he can with long balls from Pickford. Rush them and harry them from start to finish, give them no chance to get going, none whatsoever - NO MERCY, NO QUARTER GIVEN!
brogan156d ago
Problem we have is we're facing them at a time when they simply have no other option but to fight for their lives. It's not an excuse as we've dropped points for sure. Will ultimately cost us a spot in Europe
♥ 1

Who would you rather see in Monday's squad to face Man City? 🫣
rod.52155d ago
Both, they would be great together. Both strong runners and Graham has some great tight ball control, its called dribbling.

After West Ham not sure where all this optimism is coming from ? If Beto fit will be only change with dino moyes i bet !
gramorris157d ago
Think it’s also no threat of relegation. Seeing Spurs and WH down there is just a reminder of how bad it was
tom.procter157d ago
Think it's just because the league is still so tight. We're still only three points off 6th. Gonna be very tricky if we lose to City though. And yeah think Beto could well be the only change
♥ 1

How would you have the side lined up if you were David Moyes? 🤩
Let's hope Beto is ready to go on Monday! 🤕
photographerofkilkenny154d ago
I wouldn't swap out McNeil, He's the more defensive when it comes to facing City. I'd play McNeil as right wing back and put Jake back as centre half in a three-at-the back.
