No idea why people complain . I used to walk 3 miles to Goodison.. Walking with your mates and having a laugh and a chat about the match was part of the fun. Stop wanting to rush around . I can also get to Lime Street from Hill Dickinson in 25 minutes

Who would you like to be the New Coach ?.
seanbennett498121d ago
I would love pep but never going to happen IMO when we bring a new coach in needs to be a proven top coach. Some big decisions need to be made if efc & DM were to part ways needs to be done early and his successor appointed ASAP & also backed in the window
brogan138d ago
Got to be this man surely? You got any other suggestions?

This is like reading an old westham comments page...seems like he hasnt changed a bit...no youth, lack of subs etc...he'll be after kalvin phillips for next season
mark.marston139d ago
Yeah the similarities are there. Many fans are concerned that he will leave us with an ageing squad and blow another £100m on 30yos
brogan139d ago
He’ll be after Soucek no doubt. So stubborn in his ways it’s unreal
To the so called Everton fans who left before Seamus did his farewell lap around the pitch SHAME ON YOU TOO! This man has given his love & loyalty to our club & fans & you couldn't even stay to wish him well & thank him by staying until the end. Absolutely unacceptable. I am more ashamed of those fans than the team's woeful display.

To be fair there was no announcement from the club that this was happening and the players took ~30 mins to emerge after the final whistle. I genuinely think a lot of people didn't realise he was getting a guard of honour etc. The manner of the loss didn't help either
confirmme74139d ago
Heres a idea parade him before the game or HT. Won 5 at home all season always a chance that would happen..it might have give some energy as well.

Using yesterday as a yardstick, we need to offload nearly all the squad and bring in new players or give youth it's chance. I would keep Pickford, Branthwaite, Garner and KDH, but the rest just don't try hard enough. Must be better in the championship than Barry and Beto. They are not good enough. About time Aznou, and some U-23's got a chance.
chillout138d ago

scottshalani7139d ago
Maybe we should go in championship bcos we've got a championship negative clown of a manager ?????
brogan139d ago
Youth won't be given a chance under Moyes unfortunately mate. Even tho it is the senior statesmen letting us down currently he won't switch things up
Thought I would feel differently after sleeping on it and I have but not in a good way by any means! I won't talk about Moyes, individual players, officials our season or anything other than yesterday's game which I imo sums up all of the above and then some....
ptrckbennett140d ago
Forget about Europe, forget about Seamus's final home game, forget about stability, forget about Moyes and his stubborn game management or lack of, forget about referring decisions forget about everything other than the individual performances of every individual player who took to our pitch for our "FINAL GAME" of the season yesterday and how they played...

What on earth has happened to Iliman Ndiaye?! 😫
No goal or assist since the win over Chelsea in March... 📉
anthonymanley1956124d ago
To be honest i think him and KDH were totaly worn out by end of season
♥ 2
toffienut139d ago
I agree its his fitness i think maybe give him 60 minutes at spurs still think he can change a game after hall who's better with the ball than him then bring Armstrong on don't know why he's on the bench anyway

jamie.brown82139d ago
needs a manager who is more forward thinking to get the best out of him!
He ain't been good since the Chelsea gane
tom.procter140d ago
That feels like a lifetime ago now. Cannot believe this run that we're on 🙄
Just not good enough, since the darby, and a mention Europe the wheels came off! Same team, same subs, same negative results! Can't hold on to a lead, can't defend till the final whistle! DM should have mixed it up with some changes in the team and tactics. SAME OLD SAME OLD. BORORINGzzzzzz
tom.procter140d ago
We've made a real pig's ear of it. Stunned Kinnear gave public backing to Moyes a few days ago

It’s the story of every Everton season. Drastic change is needed

Anyways moving on, did anyone see Rooney meeting Pickford after motd? Was interesting to hear what Pick said about England's World Cup challenge! He's desperate to win it, as we all are!!! ⚽💙🏴😀
neilpurcell3140d ago
They won’t get past the group stage.
♥ 1
callum_boyle140d ago
It’s probably his last chance to win it isn’t it?
The people who bought our club, and seen intent on keeping him in post, don't have the courtesy, to turn up and witness the shambles we are treated to, seem quite happy with mid table , their lack of ambition, is wholly unexsepable.
tom.procter140d ago
Feel like we’re going to find out a lot about TFG this summer. Backing Moyes doesn’t scream wanting to progress and show ambition, as good a job as he’s done stabilising us

Can i for one appologise to Seamus Coleman on the poor finish to 17 loyal years service to our club.Regardless of todays result, the club should have ensured that HE got to thank ALL the fans not all the empty blue seats.I,m ashamed he was treated this way. This club gets so many things right off the pitch, were trying to make things better on the pitch, but we
ptrckbennett139d ago
Absolutely disgraceful and so, so disappointed for him from start to finish!! Only a few weeks ago he pulled on the green shirt and played out of his skin for 90+. He should have started yesterday and I guarantee we would have a different discussion today!!!

williamsdave959140d ago
Don't think you need to apologise m8 you were not on the team sheet
brogan140d ago
Well said Neil. I think the fact the club could not even organise a display in the south stand for him was a total disgrace. The 1878s did not have enough notice to do one so the club should have sorted it

Personally I think3 players being the very good ones will leave with that if Nidane and dewsbury Hall was to go that's our engine room. So it's a choice get Bowden from west ham delap from Chelsea
goodwinstephen51140d ago
Agree Bowden but delap just runs around doing nothing we need someone to bring graham through.
anthonymanley1956140d ago
Keep delap away from this club hes crap
neilpurcell3140d ago
To be honest I don’t care who goes, the last few games I haven’t seen any one player that fills me with hope.
Moyes needs to give the youngsters a chance, ie dibbling and co otherwise why waste big money on them
anthonymanley1956140d ago
We are good at wasteing money
scott.shalani140d ago
No the Negative Scottish Clown manager, needs to F..K OFF

tom.procter140d ago
Feel so bad for Dibling his confidence must be shot. Reckon he should go on loan next season as there seems no danger of Moyes leaving?

Moyes
scott.shalani140d ago
The Negative Scottish Clown 🤡

gjconstructionltd140d ago
Moyes the most negative manager in prem, dosent play to win playes not to lose, subs 1 dimensional ie beto off barry on ,,winger off winger on never changes formation ie try 2 upfront, never gives youngsters a chance.useless manager and if not sacked it shows a lack of ambition from club get rid now befire another wasted year.

Get him gone this summer

What would you say to Angus Kinnear after THAT loss to Sunderland? 😤
Something has to change... 😭
ajd3526136d ago
Time for him to go we don't need dinosaur tactics we a young vibrant coach and get the youth in, instead of has beens who are all on top money

I'm afraid we have gone back to the kenwright luvie days of old
Should Iroegbunam have been sent off?
robur1140d ago
Who sent him off var or the Premier league skells like a rat and a doggy ref dont forget its the end of the season and they don't want us in Europe.
ptrckbennett140d ago
Shouldn't have been on the pitch to start with but only a yellow... the question is why did he need to tackle like that in the first place?

brogan140d ago
Dragged off, yes. No way a red card

Which Everton player should not be started next week against Spurs? 😬
kevinmcbride648135d ago
Pls do not play Barry 😡😡
coastblues51138d ago
Not player for me , but the manager and his team with the exception of Baines he should pick the side v Spurs & tell them their all playing for their EFC Careers !!!

bobtaylz64138d ago
Tarkowski is a decent defender until he tries to be too clever. Just stick to the basics.

How do you even sum that up? 😡
Everton end their home campaign on a whimper 😫
philkenny59136d ago
Its s now 4 days passed and im still angry with the inexcusable performance !fight for the shirt ..fight for.the club . So many times this season at home its dismal and there is really no excuse ..what a waste of time 7 hrs round trip every home match ..to watch the final game ..and Shamus last game ..cmon guys pull your socks up wheres the grit and fir
bobtaylz64138d ago
Everton have played their away games like home games, and their home games like away games. 🙄

EFC looked out on their collective feet , but as an Everton supporter of almost 70 years it’s something I’ve felt before ( LET DOWN ) I was a fan of DM early on but I think he is on the defensive side of things & is now to old to change along with A Irvine & B McKinlay . So the Friedkins need to sort the club out and appoint Inigo Perez Coach 💙
A deflected shot my Merlin Röhl somehow hits the back of the net giving Everton the lead at the break. Do we deserve to be ahead?
freddie140d ago
Simple answer, not really 😅 Need a much better second half

Today would have been Bradley Lowery's 15th birthday 🕊️ Bradley passed away from neuroblastoma 9 years ago
brogan140d ago
Brilliant touch from the club with the banner. Only one Bradley Lowery! 👏

calum_jones140d ago
Bradley had such a deep connection to both Sunderland and Everton, and today one of the macots, 11-year-old Kaiden is living with medulloblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer.
Michael Goodison Jones, who played a part in building our new home, would have celebrated his 29th birthday yesterday. May he rest in peace 💙

Well said, mate. Well said 👏

Evertonians are preparing for an emotional day as Seamus Coleman is set to appear in an Everton shirt for the final time!
calum_jones140d ago
Coleman is on the Everton bench, with no doubt in my mind he will come on for a short period of time
Sunderland Starting 11: Roefs, Geertrudia, Mukiele, Alderte, Reinildo, Hume, Xhaka, Sadiki, Angulo, Le Fee, Brobbey Anyone here that you think can pose a threat today?
brogan140d ago
Le Fee has been exceptional this season. Brobbey a real handful too

calum_jones140d ago
Sunderland Bench: Ellborg, O’Nien, Cirkin, Diarra, Talbi, Isidor, Mayenda, Rigg, Jocelin Anyone here you think could come on and pose a threat?

Is David Moyes wrong to name another unchanged XI after recent results? 😳
anthonymanley1956139d ago
Yes but no evertonian will be surprised the back 4 are useless specialy the centre halfs
tom.procter140d ago
Bit frustrating to see an unchanged side given our form. Come on lads let’s get three points. Need Ndiaye and KDH to rediscover their mojos today 💪🏻

He deserves to start if he feels up to it he wdnt say he is not right to start if he wasn't
brogan141d ago
Is this about Seamus, mate?

Let us know your message to Seamus as he calls it a day as an Everton player... 🥲
mossbaz138d ago
Yes you're been a pal to all of us here at our home you are a true human being. It breaks my heart to see you leave but hope it's only temporary and you'll be back as part of the staff. God bless you and your lovely family.

What changes would you make from the draw against Crystal Palace? 🤔
Could this be Seamus Coleman's final home game? 😫
anthonymanley1956140d ago
The manager
freemanalbert331141d ago
Anything can happen . Europe ? Agree obrien central .patterson right side. Seamus as a sub the rest picks itself
stom80990141d ago
Drop KDH after last game, play rohl central George left and ndiaye right

Sunday marks the final home game of the season for Everton! 😳
How have you found the first season at the new home of the Blues? 🏟️
rogerdavidwilliams4792d ago
Good apart from transport problems and Moyes team selections.
seanbennett498121d ago
