Can only address the ends, by bringing in a solid, expensive defender and a striker who, like Callum Wilson, can make their own chances. The middle is still getting used to Nuno's plan for a disciplined style of play, which is good but cramps the creativity of Summerville & Diouf

The Opta Supercomputer will be factoring big-margin losses, at the start of the season. Performances are not so bad now. A priority to buy is one expensive, dependable defender. And, strikers who take chances and don't waste seconds doing so - even ones on free transfer
