What's next for Beneil Dariush? 🤔
The former lightweight contender has been knocked out in the first round of his last 4 losses. 😬

Gotta retire. He's at the point now where if he gets touched, he goes out. Don't see the need for him to carry on. He can focus on becoming a top coach

Yeah I think Beneil has to call it a day. He looks so slow and lost in there every time.

I think unfortunately this should be the end. He just doesn't seem to have a whole lot of durability left.

Just how good is Ian Machado Garry? 👀
'The Future' 🇮🇪 remains the only man to beat Carlos Prates in the Octagon after the Brazilian's UFC Perth win.

I just KNEW that the second they announced he was next for Islam that we were gonna be subjected to months of this Conor wannabe runnin his mouth like he isn’t one of the most boring fighters at WW 🤦🏽 Like Islam said, Ian is only good at running away during a fight

He is good but he is delusional if he thinks he is gonna break records as the headliner.

hes about 5 fight away from a realistic run to the title

After consecutive losses to Islam Makhachev and Carlos Prates, where does Jack Della Maddalena go from here? 🤔
tonebell144d ago
Losing in such a dominant fashion, and not acknowledging a need to address skill and strategic deficits is surely nothing to be proud of and doesn't bode well for Jack going forward with a continued 1 dimensional style...

Paramount has to be kicking themselves in the ass, right?

JDM needs a total reset if he wants to remain competitive in the upper 5 of ww - new coach, trainer, management -maybe even a move to Sydney with Volks team. As the saying goes " keep doing the same things gets you the same results"

Is Carlos Prates the biggest threat to Islam Makhachev's welterweight title reign?
seabright05126d ago
Garry doesnt get the respect hes earned imo, he should be next, he beat prates, whether that translates to having a better chance vs Islam is up for debate but he should be next.

Theres no way in hell carlos beats islam. Noone will beat him until he retires except one guy.

Prates is a way better fighter than Garry , Garry is wanna be mCgregor but cant back it up , Prates is a guy whos either hot or not , sadly he isnt consistent enough , but id rather Prates fight Garry first!

Is Quillan Salkilld the most promising up-and-comer in the promotion?
kylejamessandy60d ago
Hell yes 🇦🇺
edmond808496d ago
Stevenson needs to have a fight in the UFC before comparing his stock with Nickal and Salkilld.
kyle.dimond155d ago
He's up there. I'd throw Vallejos in the mix as well. He's two years younger than Salkilld as well.

Is it finally time for Tai Tuivasa to call it a day on his UFC career?
Tuivasa suffered a record-extending seventh straight loss in front of his home crowd in Perth😬

ead the match up for Bam Bam. Hope it ls a big payday for him tacking on that challenge! Id like too see Tai rush him and put it on him within secs make it his moment. He will land and drop the 7th Black Mambo or it'll be the moment that may end him. Either proud of Bam Bam and if im being honest my frequency and energy tells me Bam wins KO 1st rnd 87 secs.

It’s a tough call tbh fan favorite but you have to put up W’s. His losing would have got guys cut 4 loses ago. Maybe bare knuckle is his option. No wrestling just slugging it out

Yeah, for sure. It would be one thing if he was getting knocked out in entertaining brawls but he's losing by being taken and held down by fighters not known for their grappling.

Who is more likely to win a UFC title in the future: Jack Della Maddalena or Carlos Prates?
Explain your pick in the comments below

Pratos

Probably Jack. Seeing Carlos get absolutely schooled by Ian Gary leaves me with little confidence.
pvadodaria157d ago
Its a hard pick, Carlos Prates has the power, but JDM has the technique.
