celliselectrical22h ago
Typical Bloody Yanks full of Lies, all the crap they said when taking over, they obviously bought Everton for one reason and one reason ONLY to make a quick buck, Never turned up for a match since taking over! they have never met or spoken to the gaffer Moysee, they bought us on the cheap. GOOD RIDDENCE
anthonymanley19561d ago
This cant be a shock to anyone never been to new stadium never had a conversation with moyes we all no football is no longer a sport its a buissnes and there buissnes intrest are elswere theve leave us in a good place virtualy no debt new stadium onwards and upwards COYB
celliselectrical22h ago
ITS MOSHIRI WE NEED TO THANK FOR THE STADIUM NOT THE BLOODY YANKS, AT LEAST MOSHIRI SUPPORTS EVERTON AND HAS BEEN TO HILL DICKINSON ON A NUMBER OF TIMES
rogermthomas101d ago
Doubled their money quite apparent that the Everton gig was a success for Friedken who’s only goal was make a buck ! Thank god we stuffed the Armstrong sale , must’ve pissed them right off ! Next owners need to want to be here
ruffsgolf1d ago
The Friedkin Group have done a good job to stable the club for the future!!. Unfortunately they show lack of intrest in going forward which showed in the transfer market . Let's hope someone with football in there blood and a geniue intrest for success for Everton football club and the supporters.
del_kath1d ago
You gave us some hope, then just as quickly shattered those hopes, just want to get a proper owner who shows some interest in football, and not just in their Bank Account !
jmcveigh33791d ago
T.F.G saved us but of no use sitting back and watching us stagnate.Well attract plenty of offers.Still the same ones blaming Moyes.Give the man abreak
malcolm.211d ago
Haven't seen anyone blaming Moyes, not his fault. Loaning out Aznou yes, but not the finances at the club! COYBB'S 💙⚽😉
tom.procter1d ago
Hopefully it’ll be a pretty quick sale. Yes they stabilised things but the lack of ambition and visibility make them undeserving of owning this football club. Everton fans deserve much better

patrickohare781d ago
Says it all when the gaffer hasnt even spoke 2 them face 2 face
malcolm.211d ago
Yeah very true that mate! Hopefully we get a Tim Cahill buyer with £3 billion backing! Fingers crossed!!! COYBB'S
kyle.dimond1d ago
Strange from start to finish. Hopefully Everton get someone who is actually passionate about it but that seems increasingly unlikely
toffienut1d ago
Get them out as Quickly as possible they were never really interested from the start .
jonny2d ago
Worst kept secret of all time, hopefully the timing means there is a buyer in mind who will INVEST properly into the club
adnan.riaz2d ago
Who could have seen this coming? 🤷♂️
jonathan.gorrie2d ago
Such a shame Everton were treated as an afterthought. Maybe a change will be a good thing?
charlesjones2d ago
What a weird weird stint. I guess they’ll turn a quick profit

Great news, never got the feeling that the Friedkins were really in this for the right reasons How Everton could do with owners who actually seem interested for a change
lrandall12102d ago
I think it’s a classic case of modern day ownership. Looking to use clubs to make money and business purposes, rather than having an understanding of football and actually caring about on field
markmarston2d ago
Think everyone saw this coming. Clearly didn’t have a good relationship with Moyes. They wanted to turn Everton into Dortmund…. That was their initial plan but obviously Moyes was never going to start and develop young talent like they wanted. Feel like that played a part in this decision… realised they couldn’t make money thru player trading
phillipsandersonhaigh2d ago
TFG , Get out of our club and go back to FC Roma !!!!!
chillout2d ago
What comes next ? There are 115 reasons why rich Middle Eastern benefactors will probably stay on the sidelines. Despite PCP’s denial this week, I still think Everton could end up with Amanda Staveley as a new owner (with a consortium of some kind).
daviescallum422d ago
Good riddance. If they don’t want to be here then they can go. Stabilised us, thanks a bunch.
p.molloy2362d ago
Think the nearest he's been to Hill Dickenson was when he played golf in Scotland last week said it all terrible putter as well
waltonl41d ago
It now seems like the TFG wanted to make money fast from Everton, I can see why they wanted to keep feeding Roma and even build a new stadium in the future, but TFG wanting to own a new ice hockey team, meant we weren't going to last long with them!

🤣🤣🤣

The sooner fans accept that football is a business, the easier it will be to digest news like this. They came in when Everton were a mess, brought some stability and are now looking to make a quick profit to focus on their other priorities. Is it the right thing to do? No! But is it really that surprising? No again! We'll see a lot more of this in the future
jameslloyd14.jl2d ago
Sooner they’re gone the better. They’ve stabilised the club but they’ve got no ambition after that
gramorris2d ago
We can only hope there’s interest already and they’re trying to drum up more. Jan window looks like a wash so a season of opportunity looks like it might end up being a slog
chillout2d ago
Moyes wouldn’t have spend any money even if it was available. Dithering Dave seems to find it difficult to make up his mind, leaves it too late and ends up losing out on targets.

kierandoody2d ago
I think this summer made it obvious they’re not overly bothered about Everton. Their priorities are Roma and the new NHL team. The PL (and EFL) need to get serious about vetting these people, they ultimately give the green light and it can lead to disaster. Luckily not in this case but if they already owned one club one of the two naturally takes priority.
chillout2d ago
I do think that the post 115 world will make it less attractive for those looking at clubs purely as a financial win. What’s going on at Man C will, in my opinion, result in far fewer would be buyers.
davejackson6312d ago
get lost you have shown zero interest in the club Trump isnt the only idiot in america
chillout2d ago
I reckon new owners will need to pay £800m - so you might find would be owners who still see this as a financial opportunity, rather than a football one.

Not surprised in the slightest. Been obvious they've not really been interested for a while. Their priority is Roma.
kmm.mace2d ago
I suppose they got us out of the deep sh!t we were in with Moshiri, for which we should be grateful. But, I for 1 would prefer not to be owned by yanks. They are not marinated in our football culture, but worse, yanks are purely money driven, even to the point of asset stripping a club & walking away. I don't think we are in safe hands.
chillout2d ago
But I think the Americans and Middle East guys have most of the money. Amanda Staveley is British, but she usually comes in with a consortium who are mainly from the MidEast. There are, however, 5 Premier League clubs with British owners and 3 from Europe.
brogan2d ago
Think many will find it hard to be grateful when they've seemingly looked to make such a quick profit. Not even two years is a joke, in my opinion
brogan2d ago
Laughable really. Can only hope for a smooth and quick sale but how do Everton find themselves in this mess again???
