Here are our top 10 footballers of all time! Messi takes the top spot while Cristiano Ronaldo is down in 6th... 👀 What are your thoughts?

Pele never left South America apart from retirement with Cosmos so I always find it a hard choice, Maradona galvanised Napoli, Messi and Ronaldo CR7 and R9, but I would put Marco Van Basten above Platini, what about Franco Baresi and Paulo Maldini?

Was Luis Suarez anywhere on the list? I think he was the only player to outscore prime Messi and Ronaldo while playing in the same league? Probably not top 10 but he shouldn’t be far off

Great top 10, nice to see someone use their brain and not just go with the easy option. Ronaldo 6th is absolutely fair in my opinion. Could be 5th or 4th maybe but I think he could conceivably be lower and it wouldn’t be a huge issue. R9 was a beast, still the best Ronaldo.

This is all very subjective and just a waste of time, everybody's got a different viewpoint from the era they were born in. Football's been going for about 150 years what about players from those eras should they be considered in this list?

Absolute nonsense, even Pele & Beckenbauer acknowledged that Bobby Moore was the best defender, any yet he isn't even mentioned in the top 10

CR7 being punished for his entitlement mentality now yet Messi keeps excelling in all areas on-off the ball. I would put CR7 on no 5 though….

Not the biggest CR7 fan. In fact I find him unbearable at times, but he’s got to be higher up there. Had we done this list 4-5 years ago, when he hadn’t become such an entitled diva, he would have been second or third. I think it’s fair to put him third on this list

R9 better than the 2 above him. CR7 also. Messi probably just nicks it now after those 2 last world cups. Always think De Stefano needs to get off these lists being that high in all honesty.

Best in top 10 however Ramon Kopa deserves top 20

I’d have N’Golo Kante on top 50 list… genuinely think he was the best midfielder in the world for several years. No one could do what he did. Two players at once. Says it all that he won the league at Leicester… left for Chelsea and won the league again. Champions League & World Cup winner too. Hope he’s not forgot about in these type of rankings

Cristiano should be third at the absolute lowest. Also R9 a little too high for me given how injured he was. And not sure why I’m seeing Zidane’s name at all in this graphic

Yes he’s become a bit of a joke. But CR7 has to be in the top 4… he and Messi were neck and neck for years. Messi, Maradona, Ronaldo in that order.

Zidane does not belong on the top 10.

No doubt Zidane was an unbelievable player… but was he REALLY this good? Like levels above Thierry Henry, Neymar Jr & Rooney? Based off this list he’s 10x the player 🤔

Cristiano has gottttt to be higher, the man is an absolute machine and has been throughout his entire career, he and messi are the two greatest ever 👑

I think I’m having Ronaldo 4th. My biggest gripe is I don’t think Zidane should be that high. In my view, Xavi and Iniesta were better

R9 over CR7 is crazy work. Realistically, CR7 is second behind Messi, by some distance though

I am the furthest thing from a Cristiano fan but I find it hard to imagine he’s only sixth. Didn’t see a lot of those players actually play but the numbers speak for themselves

Johan Cruyff is not 8th! Otherwise few complaints. I have to say that Brazilian Ronaldo is my favourite footballer of all time. In full flight, he was absolutely unstoppable
