Can't understand how anyone on here thinks Scott=caseimro they are 2 totally different footballers, who play different positions Scott cannot play as a 6, it's not his game, he's an attacking player.scott was actually a forward and mourino started to play him in a deeper roll

Scott is an attacking midfielder, he is not a ball winner, if caseimro leaves we need a ball winning central midfielder. Scott will give you loads going forward

Yet, he has played CB for Scotland, and IIRC, once for United as well (I might be wrong on that). But I agree, his best moments have been at 10, then 8. A fantastic servant while he was at the club, he deserves his flowers at Napoli. If Bruno moves on, then McTomminay should be firmly in the frame.
Scott McTominay was one of Utds best players when sold, why was this did he have a bad attitude to something, someone?

I don’t believe so. It was as simple as Ineos wanting to grab the money and spend it on Ugarte, who they felt would be a starter, while Scott was just a substitute. In the end Ugarte has failed to justify that change

Scott would've played in goal if that was required. He bleeds United red. He was used in the wrong position for most of his time. It was only in his last year that he got the freedom to attack. How things could have been :-(

This was another case of bad decision making from the powers up top. McTominay was a constant threat immediately prior to being sold. He always gave 100%, and the club let him down. 7 out of 10 every game. Let down with poor partners like Fred!
