PGA Tour

Definitely better ways to address the problem, sadly don't think it will have much of a major impact for the modern players

jordan.harris124d ago

Yeah it seems largely pointless. The onus is on golf course designers to create venues that demand different skills

antonymmartin84124d ago

Minimal impact. Longest hitters will probably lose 10 yards. Forget the golf ball rollback. Narrow the fairways, grow the rough and shave down the banks next to greens around water hazards. Problem solved. Wouldn’t need a course longer than 7,000 yards then.

peter.lynch146d ago

Not his best, but things are definitely going well right now, which is great to see

jamesshearman23146d ago

The best he’s been for a while but nowhere near his absolute best

jordan.harris147d ago

no, I don't think he wins this year, but comfortably makes it to East Lake

antony.martin149d ago

Absolutely not. Loved him when I was a kid but he has become an insufferable brat over the past decade or so. In the bin

gramorris149d ago

I can live without Sergio on the tour, and like John says, almost certainly not good enough

jamesshearman23149d ago

No thanks. Would rather see him on the DP World Tour. He’s more likely to win over there

deveryneville120d ago

Yes I would maybe it might help USA in the Ryder Cup. But the Ryder Cup Capt would need to have a say in the players who look like making the team need to made to play in pairs of his choosing. It wont be popular but it might help

johnverrall11164d ago

The door is open to invite some LIV players to events like this. I can only see it being a win win

peter.lynch164d ago

Definitely! Plenty of fun involved but there's no doubting everyone is fighting hard to win

antony.martin215d ago

Rory. He hit the ball incredibly well at Riv, now he just needs to hole some putts. Second API trophy incoming

jordan.harris215d ago

I have a good feeling about Collin this week!

jamesshearman23215d ago

I've got Matt Fitzpatrick winning but could absolutely see Rory getting it done. Would throw in Jordan Spieth as an outside chance too.

peter.lynch234d ago

Wyndham Clark... meltdown!

jordan.harris234d ago

go on then, I'll say Rory. Just don't see him flying out the blocks in the same way this year

walkercharlie828234d ago

Tommy Fleetwood! Sneaky bad form recently

deveryneville234d ago

Banned for life as I am completely over these idiots. I have just watched the 2nd round of LIV golf and apart from the watering hole, the players were not subjected to any idiot behaviour . This was nice to see. The PGA tour has had this problem for years so do something about it.

Bring more security in to catch the misbehaving fans and fine them

jordan.harris237d ago

I think the only option to really stamp it out would be to ban phones like they do at Augusta. But I assume most players expect something to cross the line when they decide to play Phoenix anyway

deveryneville230d ago

A very foolish statement for me. I love watching the players 17th hole to see who goes in the water. As for the rest of the Players I like to see who wins but that's about it for me

pinkpetal423234d ago

I Agree with Brandel. I Love Watching the Players Championship as Much or More than the Masters🏑

jamesshearman23238d ago

The Players is a great tournament and I do actually rate it higher than the PGA Championship. It's nowhere near the other 3 majors though so he's miles off it

pinkpetal423234d ago

I think He can!! Go for it Justin👍🤞

jamesshearman23236d ago

I'd love to say yes as a big Rose fan but I'd probably say he won't

antony.martin244d ago

100% he will win another major. I'm convinced he will be right up there at the Masters this year and fancy him at Birkdale as well.

barbchris.raven227d ago

Somewhat

jamesshearman23236d ago

Quite concerned! You see it all the time where players don't return to their best

antony.martin244d ago

Not concerned at all. He had two months off last season through injury and then became a father for the first time. He will be fine, just give him time.

You're right... I can't! Looks like I need to get out and watch more live golf!

He took the money and ran. Stay there. Was one of my favorite players. He's no different than a scab crossing a picket line. This Koepka thing is nothing more than a big F. U. to LIV. These traders are now realizing their games have suffered from lack of competition. Honestly, watching LIV is like watching my men's club on Saturday or Sunday.

keokuk13251d ago

Not a good person

jamesshearman23252d ago

Absolutely! I want to see everyone back on the PGA Tour

antony.martin252d ago

What can go wrong with that swing? Elite clubface control. 25 PGA TOUR wins and 5 majors

jamesshearman23252d ago

It's so early but I'll say 1 major & 7 wins

jordan.harris252d ago

so impressed with his attitude so far. Think he could be a 15 wins and 2 majors player

jordan.harris257d ago

Yeah he just seems fearless. Such a good attitude, didn't let Ryder Cup talk really impact him last year and is now a certainty for the Pres Cup imo

jamesshearman23258d ago

He's clutch. We all know golf is mostly mental and he delivers in big moments.

Ben Griffin FTW!

pinkpetal423265d ago

Vijay, Like someone else said. Vijay didn't leave for the LIV Tour

peter.lynch266d ago

I think Vijay edges this great debate, he didn't leave for LIV Golf after all!

antony.martin269d ago

Vijay, unfortunately. However, I'd prefer to see Brooksy back playing regularly!

pinkpetal423265d ago

Freddie Couples
