Manchester United BEATEN 3-0 at home to Bournemouth - Is it all OVER for Michael Carrick?
How much longer can Carrick last? Which players let United down?
adam.duffield1w ago
Let him go!

I’ve always said whatever’s happening at the top of the club always filters down onto the pitch, and what we’re seeing on the pitch is because of what’s happening all over the rest of the club. Not my words for once Alan Shearer is right!

As I was taught in business, many moons ago now......... Always trim from the top of the tree.

Same old story at United. Managers come and managers go. It's nothing new. The Glazers are responsible for everything that's going on at United. Having new owners like how Man city and Newcastle has will make things change for the better.
ericjsmithesq1w ago
Oh yes, like the situation at Citeh has really improved since the new owners turned up.....Also, don't forget, we had 7 good years (I think it was seven)with the Glazers, until 2013

Bruno is our best playmaker.Tilesman doesnt give bruno the room to show his space splitting passes, HE doesnt mark,so its a big risk to pair him with bruno,Buno needs protectors not more playmakers. i have been expecting all these pundicts to say it rather than criticising players reaction.L.Martinez said he has been trying to keep his emotions to himself.

Why would any good coach want to go to this mess. If Carrick gets rired so should Wilcock and Barbera
dancoombs1w ago
Problem is it is Berrada and Wilcox deciding Carrick’s fate
kilham.max1w ago
Yep, can’t see a way back after this. Like Carrick but as suspected, he lacks the know how to take on a role of this magnitude
niko1w ago
There's no way back if Ratcliffe and Glazers don't quit United. They should sell their shares and go and invest in some venture other than football. And no one will buy United at 5 billion when not worth more than 2.5 billion. Greedy Ratcliffe and Glazers! They will prefer to ruin United than quit. And they will end up ruining themselves. No one ruins United

Carrick is not the only problem within the club, current players and more so the management, should be answerable for poor playing style

He picked the wrong team. He was right to drop Bruno but too late I'm afraid and why he keeps picking teilemans is beyond me. Stick martinez in the midfield before Mount but you can't start Mount before Cuhna, sorry, really bad choices today.
niko1w ago
No! Ratcliffee picked the wrong team when he frustrated Casemiro, the engine of the team, into a premature exit without a ready replacement. Now the void he created is now festering. God saved Harry Kane he didn't answer Ratcliffe's call. He would never have won Ballon D'or.
geldroper1w ago
What you didn't see martinez was not even trying to get to the ball at the 3rd goal. He wants out and will look to stay healthy and won't do anything

I feel so sorry for him. Another managed chewed up and spat out by the mess that is Man United. Serious structural changes needed asap
stephenjholmes11w ago
I totally agree. The biggest change barring the owners, is the coaching staff. They are all ex-players who couldn't spell fitness and tactics, let alone deliver any. You wouldn't get Halfords to run your F1 team, so why allow untrained idiots to run your team of world class athletes? Michael needs to have someone experienced to help, and mentor him.
jonny1w ago
I hope he’s put out of his misery, looks distraught and it’s not going to get better without change. No coming back from losing the players. Hes not the biggest issue but he can have no complaints after how poor we’ve been
freddie1w ago
He’s gone isn’t he? Can’t see a way back.
jonny1w ago
Has to be! Should be tonight really, let the man rest, looks broken at full time
jordan.harris1w ago
The only reason to keep Carrick in charge is because he may eventually take some of the heat off the decision makers above him. But relegation is also a real concern now
dale.odonnell1w ago
A terrible few days for United, conceding 7 goals and scoring just one, a mere consolation. Carrick looked emotional at the end. A sad end to something that had promise. 😔
vatsal1w ago
Loved Old Trafford's reaction. Proud to be a fan of this club. Cheered Carrick, booed the player, called Wilcox a w***er. This club lucked out on Carrick's interim, then left him to fail. Don't get me started about the players. Carrick is out of his depth but there will be no new manager bounce this time.
jamesshearman231w ago
I bet there will be a new manager bounce. These players will react to new ideas for a few months and everyone will get carried away again. It feels like an endless cycle
david.comerford1w ago
Carrick laid everything on the line with his press conference speech and dropping Bruno. Felt like he had to at least draw to survive in that context
dancoombs1w ago
At the minimum he needed a spirited performance. This was just more of the same
dancoombs1w ago
So sad this. I can’t see Carrick lasting another 24 hours. It’s over. No way back

Fabregas?
