Liverpool are being linked with Kevin Schade from Brentford, thoughts? Surely we don’t need another left winger?
He is working under Jurgen Klopp with Germany, though… 👀
patricksharkey023d ago
Great
eoin3d ago
I like schade to be fair, but want a left footed right winger and a midfielder. Anything else is secondary

I wonder if there’s a deal to be done for Estevao? He’s not playing much at Chelsea

Which incomings and outgoings do you want to see at Liverpool by Tuesday's deadline?
Time is quickly running out on another underwhelming summer at Anfield...
kevanpower833d ago
Ideally a replacement for Salah and a right back
tyler.knapp86333d ago
Rayan's release clause is £130m. Significantly higher than the 75-80 you mentioned. He's definitely the best player we could sign, but William Gomes' release clause is around £40m, so more than 3x less. He would be my choice for a deadline day move over Minteh or Sarr.
auntylizard135d ago
I understand we need attackers but our midfield is light and so is our right back situation.. whatever they do please let us have a right wing back..
Liverpool are in talks with Manchester City over Cody Gakpo — can the Reds afford to lose him?
The mooted £85m fee would be hard to turn down, but depth is a real concern...
george.patten35d ago
85 mil is crazy money but I do rate Gakpo. Think he’s a quality player in the right system
chillout35d ago
Liverpool have hardly set the Prem alight so far under their new manager. And any dosh they received probably can’t be spent until January at the earliest.

💣Just how good a signing will Bradley Barcola be for Liverpool?
The Reds have FINALLY found an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain
eoin38d ago
Im sold on It. I think he brings the pace weve been soreñy lacking and his finishing is super underrated
freddie39d ago
A lot of money, everyone raves about him, but I need to be swayed by him I think! Every big signing flops basically, so let’s see what he can do. I hope he absolutely proves me stupid for even doubting him!
jameslloyd14.jl39d ago
Just what they needed that, another right-footed attacker who wants to drift to the left

Liverpool want to sign Ismaila Sarr! Thoughts? 🤯
He is seen as an alternative to Yankuba Minteh
wtkaireland37d ago
I think we should have gone for Mbaye I think he would be a brilliant signing .He is young quick with bundles of talent.

Liverpool should go to get barcola team mates or try to get any Brazil players that is worth the money or get an loan for players or to sell micro from Bournemouth to an better player and exchange him for barcola team mates so micro can learn the trade how to tackle any players with out getting bookings or free kick that why we are not so strong in the back
robfee196039d ago
Obviously pacey, we deffo lost a lot last season with mo losing a bit ,pretty more direct which is good ,could just chip in with more goals than isak for me

David Ornstein expects Barcola to join Liverpool - who should be next on the shopping list?
peter.lynch39d ago
Midfield I think needs reinforcements, especially since Jones has gone. But give me Barcola all day!
james.brooke39d ago
Where do you start. Let’s start targeting players with a week left of the window. Pathetic stuff from all involved
freddie39d ago
Need a right back and a midfielder!

How do you feel about Liverpool signing Barcelona captain Ronald Araujo on loan?
Nobody saw this coming! 🫨
njanoff4555d ago
Looks like a great signing to me
lee.connor57d ago
Don’t know what the complaints are about. Who else were they expecting to get? Done well to get a regular Barcelona player through the door.
jonathan.gorrie57d ago
This deal gives me Arthur Melo vibes
We can only fully judge the window when it's finished, but I increasingly feel like there's an arrogance about Liverpool. For years they were (rightly) called one of the best run teams in Europe, but it's almost like it went to their heads. They act like they have in the market in the palm of their hand when really it seems to be getting away from them
james.brooke61d ago
It’s so frustrating mate. Everybody can see the gaps but they just refuse to fill them. Happy to throw away full seasons continuously, I can’t remember the last time we went into a season without a big hole somewhere. Desperately wanted a midfielder in 2024 and two years on we still haven’t signed one. So many more examples as well
Barcola set to reject all attempts at a contract extension by PSG 👀SURELY this has to happen?
markmarston70d ago
Liverpool won’t meet their €170m price tag…

Who would be your choice of centre-back signing for Liverpool this summer?
The Reds clearly need to do something after fresh injuries to Jacquet and Gomez
sophiarichards6466d ago
Nunez can be given another chance in my opinion. I think he has matured a lot. I also don't feel he got enough playing time. Everyone has their bad and good, and I think his energy on the field helps.
welling4x466d ago
I Think it's about time We got Rid of Gomez, Every time he plays his chocolate legs Melt 🦵when someone tackles him. Can't We find someone who's legs Arn't made of Glass. How come VVD has played All the games in the league and for his National team. Why, Why can't WE.

Micky Van Der Venn or gor sheer physical presence Dan Ballard.

What is going on with this transfer window. No legitimate links at all outside of Barcola, and that seems a bit pie in the sky as well. We need an RB, at least one forward and a DM, maybe a CB as well and nothing is happening. We can’t go into the season with this squad surely
david.comerford71d ago
The Munoz deal came out of nowhere so *hopefully* things are moving in the background

Darwin Nunez is in talks to join MLS side Atlanta! Are Liverpool making a mistake not bringing him back? 😳
He may even cost NOTHING and his stats for the Reds are pretty good…
josh.barker73d ago
Apart from his pace there's no reason for him to come back, except if it means no more Gakpo
david.comerford73d ago
The second we sign another decent forward, we'll forget about Nunez
♥ 1
freddie73d ago
I’d absolutely bring him back. Works his socks off and SO MUCH potential. BRING HIM HOME

Liverpool have made an approach for winger Maghnes Akliouche! Why do you think he'd be a good Mo Salah replacement?
PSG are seriously interested in him too…
paulcummings758173d ago
Liverpool are takeing to long to sign players
♥ 1
josh.barker73d ago
He wouldn't, too slow.
keithsmyth37674d ago
Akliouche is a great player, 43 million get him signed, then we have the extra money for centre mid and right back, Scott from Bournemouth isn't the answer we've got too many similar, we need a proper number 6, Wharton isn't the answer he's bullied off the ball too easy, this might be a mad suggestion shea charles from Southampton he's there for 30 mil
With Geetruida not joining Sunderland on a permanent, and given that it was just £19m… surely Liverpool go back in for him?! So versatile and we need options! Iraola said it himself in his presser
james.brooke73d ago
He was a prospective Slot signing, no way we come back in, nor should we. Not good enough
kylefewtrell1774d ago
Get an effing rb and dm (Wharton, scott) and left wing, end of.
Bowen set to stay at West Ham… could Liverpool have done worse than signing him for the Salah role? Have Bowen/Munoz for RW and Barcola/Rio for LW?
freddie75d ago
Bowen not top 6 level sadly. Like him, but Yh, not that good
Liverpool apparently have ‘no plans’ to sell Gakpo… I can’t go through it again… 🥲
kylefewtrell1774d ago
Barcola another gakpo for pure till? 100+ nah

How high should Liverpool go to sign Bradley Barcola from PSG?
Maybe Liverpool would be better off signing two or three €50m players...
hackenapuss74d ago
Possibly half of the asking priče , comes across as a liitle too flegmatic to my liking ⚽ playing over the top for bench players has to stop
♥ 1
auntylizard183d ago
My opion and I know you all love an auntys opinion is Salah wasn't world class when he came so why are we buying ready made for high prices when we can sign needs a bit of work and the right environment for less.
♥ 1
stuart_upton86d ago
There has to be other wingers a lot cheaper and just as good in the lower divisions. That price tag is way over the top. PSG, JUST WANT US TO PAY FOR DIAMANDE, AND A BIT EXTRA thrown in, if liverpool pay more than£ 70ml I'd be disappointed.
♥ 1

Who should Liverpool's new top target be after being rejected by Yan Diomande?
This is a BIG blow to the Reds' summer plans 😓
mikeyfidz72d ago
I would not have vini jnr anywhere near my team. Great player but would think he was bigger than the team, and cause bad atmosphere at the club
mrdelaneymiller81d ago
I think we should be monitoring Vini Jr.'s situation with Madrid. I love Rio, but he is not ready to be a week in-week out starter in the EPL. He needs another year (or 2) before he's there. He can definitely contribute a lot more next year, but putting Salah type expectations on him is not realistic.
auntylizard190d ago
Whoever we get I want it to be a player who wants to be a part of Liverpool who wants to play for our club not a second choice and is offski the first chance they get
♥ 1
Diamonde choosing PSG then, clearly a blow but equally, is there better value in the market?
james.brooke98d ago
I’m a bit relieved to be honest mate, couldn’t believe we were willing to spend so much on him. The market is poor ar the minute though, we really should’ve gone for Rayan while he was still in Brazil

Name the five further signings Liverpool need to make after Victor Munoz this summer 👇
The Reds could reportedly target two forwards, two midfielders and a versatile defender...
dantowen81951100d ago
Bouaddi is a must, for me, as is Diomande. I’d also take Bowen as a versatile forward option. And for two defenders, the kid Oso at Sevilla and Canvot at Palace
james.brooke101d ago
I'd go: Diomande and Barcola for the wings Angelo Stiller and Bouaddi for the midfield Oscar Mingueza as an option at CB/RB/LB Probably looking at £250-300m there though, so surely I'm dreaming
Bergvall wants to leave Tottenham, Liverpool should be ALL OVER that!!
james.brooke101d ago
I like him, but hard to see how he goes from not being a starter for a shocking Spurs team to being able to make an impact at Liverpool. Forest being leading candidates to sign him about says it all I think
What's your take on replacing konate
james.brooke101d ago
I like the look of Jacquet and Leoni, but I think it's a gamble to go into a season expecting too much from them. We also need to look at the fact that VVD is out of contract next year. Another CB who can maybe fill in at full-back is the right way to go I think, although not sure who that is
Got a feeling this Diomande pursuit turns into a saga...

How excited are you by Liverpool's surprise signing of Victor Munoz?
And what do you think his role will be next season? Is he an immediate starter?
hackenapuss79d ago
Hard to tell already but for that priče its worth a gamble , not all spanish players are gems though
aaronmcfairlane105d ago
As with most European players they need time to settle in the premier League to me is far more thrust than the likes of Spain and Italy but hopefully he gets stuck in
natalia.sltysk108d ago
There’s something special about signing a player you’ve never heard of out of nowhere. More of this please Liverpool! 🇪🇸
I hope we don't sell macalister and Jones just to go for wharton, I don't want him near the team especially for 100 million, we should be going for camara from Monaco and sangare from lens , 10 times the better player than wharton, even shay charles from Southampton is an excellent all round centre midfielder and he's available for 20 million
No comments yet. Be the first.

What are your thoughts on a possible return to Liverpool for Nunez?
He's leaving Al Hilal. Perhaps Andoni Iraola's chaotic style could get the best out of him...
aaronmcfairlane105d ago
I don't think they're the same player second time around so no from me
dantowen81951118d ago
I wouldn’t. His record in Saudi was actually quite poor. I’d much rather just invest in a younger option
♥ 1
mrdelaneymiller118d ago
As a backup striker, I think he has a lot of value. Not sure about signing him if his intention is to be first choice. I think his pace, intensity and strenth are all attractive qualities. He's got a fighter's spirit and I think LFC could use a bit more of that.
Jones needs to be retained and Harvey Elliott should remain too. Chiesa should also remain .
james.brooke121d ago
I agree on Elliott and Chiesa because I think they are very useful squad players and we need a better squad than we’ve had. I’d be fine with Jones staying too, but I’m sick of watching him hang onto the ball way too long. Would be fine if he leaves, feels like the right time
♥ 1
How much you taking for Rio Ngumoha then?
eoin119d ago
Not for sale, and inflation means that 70m for hudson odoi should be 100 now no? Also think Rio has the edge in potential, even compared to CHO as a wonderkid
james.brooke121d ago
I would sell him if they were offering silly money to be honest. I’m still suspicious that he doesn’t have the required pace to be truly elite. If they’re willing to go past £80m I’d take it with some kind of add ons
♥ 1
tomneytam121d ago
150 million not a penny less

Great news as young josh Abe signed a new scholarship contract apparently he was offered 50,000 per week by an unnamed club, he has chosen our project as josh and his family seen a pathway to the first team, he's a special talent and also great to see my fellow northern ireland country man kieran morrison sign a new contract another special talent
james.brooke122d ago
Agree Keith, I can’t believe that 50,000 per week rumour but I did hear that too! I think we’ll see him in the first team before the end of next season. Morrison will go on loan I think, but he has a future at the club
I'm over the moon gapko apparently has put in a transfer request because slot got sacked, athletico madrid are wanting to take gapko I would personally drive him to madrid, he's on 250,00 a week, somebody must of been smoking something to gapko that contract, hopefully gapko will be off the books and out the door of our beloved club soon
tomneytam121d ago
85 million and Madrid can have him. Rio is the better player.
james.brooke122d ago
Hmm I wouldn’t be so sure on that one, the reports were a little bit vague. I would be surprised if he did want away as he’s unlikely to get such a bumper deal (which he only signed recently) elsewhere. I’m fine with him as a back up winger next season, as long as we sign a Barcola who can start ahead of him
Gapko puts in transfer request
james.brooke121d ago
Apparently there are teams interest Keith 😮
I think you need a squad of 22 players, two full teams to cope with all the games that make up a season & all the cup games, if you are a top six club that wants to win silverware.
josh.barker128d ago
so at least two midfielders, cb, two right wingers (chiesa leaving) needed this summer then

Who would you rather see at Liverpool next season, Diomande or Barcola? 🤔
One of the most exciting teens in Europe vs a Champions League winner...
james.brooke129d ago
Barcola and it isn’t close. Not bowled over by either to be honest, but we just can’t bet the house on a player who has played so little in his career. Personally I’d have like to have seen Gordon, but for whatever reason they’ve decided against that
freddie129d ago
Has to be Diomande! Barcola can't get in at PSG and they also want Diomande, does that not just show how little they now rate Barcola?
jamie.brown82130d ago
Barcola!!! Diomande is an elite talent, but Barcola more proven at the top level.
How A.S. is still in post after such a bad season.
josh.barker135d ago
think he'll go after Brentford?
Trent had a good thing going with Mo but Diaz would score goals
No comments yet. Be the first.
The Arsenal pair will not be for sale , Ballard from Sunderland If the money is right
james.brooke136d ago
Surely there are better options out there for Liverpool than Dan Ballard, come on!
