Who would be your choice of centre-back signing for Liverpool this summer?

The Reds clearly need to do something after fresh injuries to Jacquet and Gomez

sophiarichards642mo ago

Nunez can be given another chance in my opinion. I think he has matured a lot. I also don't feel he got enough playing time. Everyone has their bad and good, and I think his energy on the field helps.

james.brooke2mo ago

Hard to know how much he’s matured, but I always think it’s best not to go back in football! Will be remembered well for what he did, could ruin that if he comes back and is even worse

I Think it's about time We got Rid of Gomez, Every time he plays his chocolate legs Melt 🦵when someone tackles him. Can't We find someone who's legs Arn't made of Glass. How come VVD has played All the games in the league and for his National team. Why, Why can't WE.

james.brooke2mo ago

It was time about 3-4 years ago let’s be honest. There’s no way another player couldn’t have done the job he’s done and far more in that time. He won’t go this summer, but he’ll 100% leave when his contract is up. May not even crack 300 appearances after 12 years with the club, that says it all

Micky Van Der Venn or gor sheer physical presence Dan Ballard.

james.brooke2mo ago

Two opposite ends of the price spectrum you'd think there. VDV is going to be £100m or so, and I just don't think we need to prioritise funds there. After seeing Ndukwe I'm happy to wait a year and see how he develops out on loan. Annoying he can't play immediately but work permit issues means he needs to go somewhere else first

hackenapuss2mo ago

The Colombian Lhucumi , but has to fight off some competition , in general better go outside England , better value for money

james.brooke2mo ago

Ordinarily don't think they'd go for someone in that age range, but with Ndukwe and Ndiaye coming through, it would make sense to get someone more experienced who can do a job in the short-term. Lucumi has been linked before, but still can't see it happening

jameslloyd14.jl2mo ago

Think they might’ve missed the boat on Vuskovic!

anthonygrady6572mo ago

Be nice to see what leoni can do

markmarston2mo ago

Colwill? Chelsea will sell anyone for the right price

james.brooke2mo ago

Good shout, know we’ve looked into him in the past as well. Is a boyhood Red too surprisingly

james.brooke2mo ago

Has to be basically a newer version of Joe Gomez who can do a job in different positions. Probably be a starting RB who can also fill in in the middle. Konsa might be good if Villa are looking at selling him to Arsenal?

david.comerford2mo ago

Would be a brilliant signing

david.comerford2mo ago

Someone who can also cover RB, because they won't get both

alidaniels9971mo ago

There's some guy called Araujo from this little club in spain called Barcelona 🤣

james.brooke2mo ago

That looks the most obvious solution to me as well. Who though? I literally cant think of anyone
