Should Martin O'Neill take some of the blame for the loss to Dundee United?
atozreilly194977mo ago
Like any manager Martin will need to shoulder most of the blame for Weird line up and the mosh mash of tactics and subs

Starting Eleven was like a crossword puzzle: and you easily have flipped a coin swapping 4 staters for 4 on bench/ martins selections were baffling, he ll know he ballsed up Bigtime

It’s terrible how MO’N went from hero to zero , after his comments about the anti Celtic Celtic Collective. MO’Ns love for Celtic esp fans & respect for Board members , were the reason that at his age , he gave up retirement to help & ignorant fans who couldn’t manage local pub dart’s team turn against him

We all make mistakes and martin is no different but yes several mistakes were made he needs help the squad he had on his day where on a different level

Hatate and Maeda downed tools weeks ago. Just like french Eddie and Christie who couldn't get away down south quick enough. McCowan not good enough, puddle jumper. Schmichael is so selfish, playing when clearly he wasn't fit. How many points did he cost us ?
rvybw9z4yf7mo ago
It looks as if Paul Shearing has down tools too . In recent games both Hatate & Maeda have been among Celtic’s best players

Ralston should have been put on straight away. Hatate and yang are not right backs .MON made big mistake

Agree with this 100%

Yes. He picks the team and the tactics. Neither were right. Let’s be honest, the odd performance like the Motherwell one are papering over the cracks. He’s on a wretched run of form. Lost to hibs, 2 draws against rangers, and a defeat to Dundee u along with the mwell win in the last 5, isn’t league winning form.
rvybw9z4yf7mo ago
Let us be honest , how many league titles have u won, as player & manager . Does your football CV match or beat MO’N or does your love for anti Celtic , Celtic Collective bear all

they can't defend can't pass from one to another some could not trap a bag of spuds!
rvybw9z4yf7mo ago
Supporters by definition are supposed to encourage & help players who they think are playing below standards . H.n supporters can ridicule & belittle Celtic players especially if they think that may help them to lose confidence.
luckytroll827mo ago
I'm sure we have a new player that not even played yet maybe I'm wrong but what was the point in signing him
rvybw9z4yf7mo ago
There isn’t a club in UK ,that doesn’t buy players who prove themselves not good enough . No club deliberately buys/signs players who they know aren’t good enough . Similarly every club in UK have fans who claim to support them, who know nothing about football
johntaggart12017mo ago
No The team he put on the pitch should have been good enough too win this game, its all down to the player having no fight in them
rvybw9z4yf7mo ago
The team was good enough , the tactics were good enough , pitch was prepared to prevent Celtic slick movement & passing . Pitch was a lottery & if SFA & SPL were fair & impartial game shouldn’t have been played . killie’s artifical pitch is better
amirmir7mo ago
Agreed, the players have disgraced themselves all season. But still, why start Kelechi when he isn't fit, and then moving Hatate to right-back. MON can't be immune here.
jonathan.gorrie7mo ago
Yes. Clearly deeper issues in play but not good enough
gerry.docherty77mo ago
Yes O'Neill was partly to blame, moved Hatate to right back and I said to my mate immediately, he is hopeless and will cost us a goal. Hey presto within 5 mins skint at second goal, fecking useless.
rvybw9z4yf7mo ago
Whether u said it to mate or not , doesn’t make a difference. Some fans have gone against MO’N because he called out Celtic Collective , whose aim has been stated will best come about by Celtic losing league. MO’N tactical brain far out reaches us fan’s & shouldn’t be queried after he selfishly returned to help us all
jimmchugh19577mo ago
Trusty MOM against Rangers but on bench yesterday McGregors legs have gone
callum_boyle7mo ago
Sadly, yes. His team selection was wrong from the start and he made too many changes to areas that didn't need fixing
