West Ham stunned at home! Who was to blame here and why?
finbar12121mo ago
Nuno out hes got idea what's he doing get Eddie howe in b4 its to late !! Coyi
peter.tester1mo ago
Definitely kilman and scares are clearly not good enough an need replacement, definitely need another strong midfielder, don't know why we let Potts go as he would be ideal for us in this league, Taty was nowhere near good enough today. First half to slow and to much side passing, no direct force into the box. Only last 20 minutes did we begin to look danger
bilichammer1231mo ago
Would start to help playing a keeper that has arms and height not one that is supposed to be good at throwing out the ball . Both goals would have been like many let in by short arms Herman been saved by areola. And we need to sell Herman and
ray.baxterct19511mo ago
I agree Hermanson is not the keeper we need, he makes easy saves look hard and he tries to tackle opponents out of his goal in hope, instead of staying on his line. His distribution is not great and still misses opportunities by lateness releasing the ball
ray.baxterct19511mo ago
Listen to the Fans, 50,000+ can't be wrong!
ray.baxterct19511mo ago
I don't think Scott Parker is the answer personally, he's a nice bloke but I don't think he's got what it is needed for West Ham to progress.
ray.baxterct19511mo ago
Taty plays for himself in the box, not the team. I know it was not just his fault we were poor but his attitude is worrying. The players lacked unity, instructions, or poor because they were out of their usual positions?
ray.baxterct19511mo ago
Good strikers need good, unselfish players to assist. Taty is not an unselfish player. He should play to assist Pirou, not shoot from impossible positions. Pirou at Leeds had fast, first ball players to provide the passes to create the goals. Soloman was instrumental in some of Pirou's goals, Pirou is a No9 use him as such! Taty is not, he needs to realise.

The lot of em - but mostly the board esp the little wrongun imp for ruining a team that were competing in Europe and even for 4th within the last 5 years, the manager for his tactics and defensive nature when ahead, the mercenary players like Todibo, AWB and Fullkrug who have taken good wages whilst giving back nothing and refusing to play or show any effort
bsmatthews281mo ago
There are so many things wrong with this team Mavropanos is not half the player he was last season when he partnered Disasi, Walker-Peters is having a mare and seems sluggish. and Scarles flatteres to decieve and I am not sure Kilman is even good enough for this Division anymore. Our lack of any midfield player of quality is real concerning.
dantowen819511mo ago
Yeah with you on Mavropanos. No chance he makes that error with Disasi there. His confidence is brittle at the best of times, god knows how he rebounds from that
grahamwatts1mo ago
A lot of nonsense about Nuno. This is the same guy who got Wolves up from Championship and then into Europe playing exciting attacking football. The did sterling job at Forest getting them into Europe with exciting counter attacking style. The difference with us is not having good enough players in key positions. If you choose Parker he is a defensive coach
dantowen819511mo ago
I still like the idea of Craig Bellamy if he can be lured away from Wales
rendall19661mo ago
Why do we seem to do this to our selves.,over and over and never learn
carter.luke1mo ago
Nuno. Must go. He has no flare. West ham clearly in a lot of trouble yesterday. You look at nuno on the touch line. Just standing there not a clue what to do. We need a manager who is loud attack minded. We need to score many more goals especially in this league. Players need to press and press the opposition. Stop them playing football
dantowen819511mo ago
Nuno just doesn’t inspire me, he’s hardly the type you’d run through brick walls for is he?
cumberworth571mo ago
Nuno is a negative manager but only having 2 in CM and both more attack minded doesn’t work, clearly. Alverez should not be sold as he is ideal as CDM but it looks like the fire sale goes on without the replacements
cumberworth571mo ago
If we don’t bring at least 3 quality players in, in key positions, I think we can forget about promotion and probably the play-offs as well. Nuno’s style of play and team selections/substitutions doesn’t work with these players. I thought we would have learnt that from last season when he screwed it up.
irons19781mo ago
I think the whole team need to take a look at them self's totally embarrassing 5 points dropped already we are not gonna get promoted if we play like this every game
jordan.harris1mo ago
I may have been wrong about keeping faith in Nuno. A slow start is one thing but this!
ray.baxterct19511mo ago
Nuno has lost his grin and didn't admit anything at his post-match press conference. It won't be long.
ray.baxterct19511mo ago
It was not much of a surprise to me to lose, but what was a shock was the way Charlton were allowed to get in our faces. We let them mark us out, half the team were lethargic and looked frightened at the back. When the rare crosses went in, the goalie was under the ball or there was no strike danger around to meet it.Above all we were too slow AGAIN.
dantowen819511mo ago
Played perfectly into Charlton’s hands, I thought
laurajr19581mo ago
I can't believe what I saw today. The first half was abysmal. Lack of confidence and sloppy passing. And Taty's penalty was disgraceful. How come Bowen didn't take it? What is Nuno doing to our team and how long are they going to give him to get it right.
dantowen819511mo ago
They reminded me a lot of the Man United vs Hull game earlier on in the day. Confidence just drained from them as soon as that opening goal went in
trevorbisdee1mo ago
Don’t understand why we didn’t start with the settled team, then introduce the new players, rather than play them from the start. So many missed placed passes, they don’t know each other. Nuno is clueless
dantowen819511mo ago
He spent all week talking about how he wanted to turn us into a possession team, then we lose 2-1 with nearly 80% of the ball
nickdomjan1mo ago
There is something to be said about keeping on doing the same thing and expecting the result to be different
chillout1mo ago
That’s said to be Einstein’s definition of insanity - but it’s actually from AA.
alan.mayo511mo ago
Is that something called madness?
paul.sanders19551mo ago
Nunos post match wisdom "The players must tighten things up in both penalty areas" OMG 🤪
dantowen819511mo ago
Hahah I know, most of my issues today were between the boxes 😂
paul.sanders19551mo ago
Abysmal, and we will get the usual post match drivel "we must learn from this ", we should be lining up Eddie Howe now for when the inevitable happens.
chillout1mo ago
I forgot about Howe - not a bad call.
alan.mayo511mo ago
Nuno doesn't inspire and is tactically inept. I would prefer any of Craig Bellamy, Scott Parker or Gary O'Neil. Bowen is supposed to be a leader but bottled taking the penalty. I honestly think we are more likely to do a Leicester than get promoted but most likely is lower half of the table.
mngj891mo ago
Nuno was terrible until Paco Jemez arrived, only then did West Ham improve. Now he's gone weve gone back to old Nuno who Im sorry to say isn't good enough. Club need to act fast and change before too late.
nickdomjan1mo ago
I'm not sure that Scott Parker is the right replacement for the long term but he does know how to get his defences working. Agreed on Paco, I doubt if he would come to us out of respect for Nuno, although there's no harm in asking
dancoombs1mo ago
Definitely worry now. Draw v Burnley was unfortunate but could be viewed as decent point. This result is concerning
dantowen819511mo ago
The performance was even worse 🙄no creativity at all. Was actually very reminiscent of Man United vs Hull earlier in the day
jonathan.gorrie1mo ago
Why didn't Bowen take the pen?!
dantowen819511mo ago
Not a clue. Surely had to take responsibility there
dantowen819511mo ago
Thought that was awful. As bad as I’ve seen under Nuno How much time does he have now, realistically? Could be very embarrassing for the board if they have to sack him so soon after saying he’d stay for the whole season…
