Zamora only scored 18 Prem goals - but where does he rank among West Ham's most influential modern-day strikers?

Geoff Hurst, David Cross, Frank MacAvennie. Three of the absolute best!!

A good and loyal servant to the Hammers and scorer of massive vital goals.

Think he scored important goals that in themselves were influential but struggle to put him in the top three tbh. Michael Antonio is top for longevity, PL presence etc, Paolo Di Canio is the best and if he stayed longer would be top of the list, then I’d probably go Carlton Cole. Zamora then sits somewhere around there with Harewood and Arnoutovic.

I think he deserves a lot of respect for his time here - scored the play-off final winner, helped fire us to an FA cup final and a top half finish under Pardew, then his iconic moments vs Arsenal A proper underrated West Ham hero

One of the better ones, based on the standard of the rest of them 😂😂 but will always be grateful for the playoff final goal
