Who is the most underrated West Ham player of the Premier League era, and why? 🤔
Hopefully we'll be back very soon...

Nobes is a given, so I’m going for Craig Dawson. Improved our defence no end for a couple of seasons and scored some important goals too. Wish we’d signed him years before.

The best uncapped England prospect

Noble for me leader workhorse every team needs one like noble West Ham needs another Noble over looked by England aswell

Pablo Fornals. Top man. Scored some valuable goals in Europe and still loved us after we sold him.

I think there’s an argument for Antonio when you look at how many strikers came and went.
caleb.sage1d ago
Winston Reid. Solid defender who always looked asured of himself.

Thomas Soucek. He's a work horse but get no recognition for it. I hope he's back on Fri night

James Collins, wished we had him now!

There’s a few defenders I can think of - Dawson, Ogbonna, Zouma… what a trio that was in the Moyes heyday
jpshpton2d ago
Pablo Fornals - a proper footballer. A fantastic team player too. A very likeable guy.
dantowen819512d ago
Pablo absolutely loves the club as well. He’s been fantastic since returning to Spain, he’s playing Champions League football alongside Pellegrini at Betis these days

Kevin Nolan. An insane baller for West Ham. You know Hammers fans love him for his loyalty.
dantowen819512d ago
They don’t make goalscoring midfielders like him anymore!
pranav.shahaney2d ago
Manuel Lanzini for me. Extremely creative as a number 10 and always gave it his all for West Ham. While injuries did keep him out of the side a lot, one cannot discount his importance to the team
dantowen819512d ago
That spurs goal is one of the best I’ve ever seen 😂
dantowen819512d ago
Bobby Zamora! So many memorable moments

Harewood clears
pranav.shahaney2d ago
I think nobody on this planet has spoken about Bobby Zamora more than you have over the last week 🤣
james.brooke2d ago
Marlon Harewood, an absolute unit of a centre forward
harveyleonard992d ago
Cresswell immediately the first name that came to mind when I saw this. Doesn’t get the spotlight but put a shift in when West Ham were a really decent side
jonny2d ago
Maybe a bit of a rouge one… but always thought Pablo Fornals was massively underrated! Top footballer on his day
lee.connor2d ago
Kevin Nolan was great for West Ham in my opinion. Goals, energy, bit of bite, bit nasty, everything most modern midfield players aren’t.
josh.barker2d ago
Antonio could have been a top level striker if not for the injuries, similar to Wilson at Bournemouth and Newcastle
matthew.johns2d ago
Always liked Aaron Cresswell, scored some unbelievable free-kicks over the years!
freddie2d ago
He was so good! Big fan
antonymmartin842d ago
Soucek as well deserves credit. He was immense for us first couple seasons until Moyes switched him around with Rice in the system
dancoombs2d ago
Soucek agree, always capable of popping up with a goal
shamanth.jayaram2d ago
Fabianski was fabulous. Also liked Ogbonna for most of his time there. Coufal early on was very good too
dantowen819512d ago
I was thinking Coufal! Just very very solid
charlesjones2d ago
I always thought Kouyate was solid for both West Ham and palace
freddie2d ago
Good shout!
dale.odonnell2d ago
Don't forget Kevin Nolan.
antonymmartin842d ago
Kevin Nolan for me. Absolutely brilliant for us.
chillout2d ago
What was your view of Noble ?
jamie.theodosi2d ago
Winston Reid. Mountain of a CB
dantowen819512d ago
Some iconic goals too! The winner against man united on the Upton Park farewell and that volley vs Millwall
jordan.harris2d ago
Fabianski has to be in the conversation I think. Julian Dicks was my favourite West Ham player growing up until Di Canio came along. Proper defender with an unbelievable left foot
chillout2d ago
Tomkins and Soucek stand out for me - Noble wasn’t underrated at West Ham at all.
charlesjones2d ago
Noble overrated if anything. People saying he should’ve been an England regular ffs
freddie2d ago
Collins and Reid gotta be up there for their partnership! I also wanna say Ogbonna, thought he was great. And then in attack, big fan of Valencia 🔥
george.patten2d ago
I was gonna say Reid. So underrated imo. Top centre half
jordan.harris2d ago
Reid is a great shout
