West Ham's attack is firing on all cylinders - who or what is behind this scoring spree? 🤔

Nuno should’ve started with the team that beat wrexham on Friday! Then once we had established a decent lead make changes and bring on the youngsters! We would’ve kept the winning mentality and been really up for Millwall! I still think our 2 centre backs are vulnerable under pressure! I would like to see golambekis and morata as our centre half’s ?

Yeah I didn’t really understand trying to rest Bowen but then playing him for 40 minutes anyway. Seemed a bit counter-productive

I mean Bowen playing in Championship what were we expecting. They seem like a clug on the way up next season, but what they need to do is plan better for then! You've got clubs go down cone straight up, but staying up us hard and West Ham need to build for that

Bowen is the best player in division… probably the best player in the bottom half of the prem too 🤣

Mukasa is an absolute star as well! He’ll be the next Championship star to go for £30m+

I mean, they dropped from the Premier League to the Championship, so they already have better types/qualities of players than other teams that are fighting for their lives in that league. 🤷

Having the highest wage bill by some distance in the league. They simply have better players than the rest of the league
pwithey12w ago
Having a high wage bill dosent guarantee quality players…it just says we have average players that are overpaid, excluding about 5 who are probably worth it, the only reason some of them are high earners is because they are on premiership wages / contracts from last season.

I think the quality of player is just way greater than any other team in the Championship. They're competing in the Championship with a Premier League-level team.

Let’s be real guys…We have 4 or 5 players who have Premiership quality and that’s it, the rest are average Championship players at best…and let’s face it, we still have no quality in depth, just average players or inexperienced players, though thankfully a couple of the younger lads look like they will cut it this season.

Would you have taken Bowen at Liverpool?
dantowen819512w ago
I think part of it is that the forwards who played against Wrexham seem really well suited to each other - Taty and Piroe both love playing in a front two, and we saw signs of a telepathic understanding on Friday

Was never in doubt. Maybe Nuno has found the key to take the shackles off finally.
dantowen819512w ago
That’s a big part of it I think! Playing four up top with two creative midfielders almost makes it an attacking six at times
josh.barker2w ago
Might have something to do with the squad probably being the strongest in the Championship for years
daviescallum422w ago
A higher league club in a lower league. Jarrod Bowen should be at a top PL club, it’s no wonder they’re flying really. Felt inevitable
dantowen819512w ago
I wondered if they had the creativity in the middle to actually create chances for Bowen and co - Engels and Mukasa have made a massive difference in that regard
lrandall12102w ago
They’ve basically got their premier league attack in the Championship
daviescallum422w ago
This exactly 💯
dakir.thanveer2w ago
They are a Premier League team playing in the Championship. Of course, they are going to be scoring tonnes! Bowen should be in the PL :/
eoin2w ago
Bowen has been immense. Doesnt belong in the Championship and It shows on the pitch. Wondering how many goals he can get this season
charlesjones2w ago
They’re just a level above their opponents. Been saying it since the start of the season
peter.lynch2w ago
Nuno deserved praise of course, but superb chemistry up there which is great to see. Don’t want to single out one player, but I think Bowen could hit 50 goals this season 😅😅
dantowen819512w ago
Chemistry is massive, yeah. Piroe and Taty could be a match made in heaven!

The manager - backing off and giving the team freedom to operate.
