How can be emulate Rice and avoid the same fate as Potts?

I agree he looks our best MF player at the moment but we do need an experienced player who can pass and break the lines to feed our attacking players…look at all the others we have and there all the same type of players, there’s no creativity there, someone who can change the game for us, lots of DMF in front of our B4…but we still concede goals.

Yep, I love Kante but I don’t think he’s a line-breaking player. He’s a box-to-box midfielder but when we play against teams who defend deep he won’t get the space he needs

He’s the only midfielder we have who can play CDM but it is a lot to expect him to boss that role all season, desperately need a senior CDM if Alverez does go! Plus a CB plus a LB, transfer window has been a shambles, should have been sorted at the end of July. Why sell Potts and Magassa when we are so weak in that area?

Yeah i worry about that too. Orford’s only a kid so he’s gonna go through tough spells as well. This squad still feels very short of depth
