How are you feeling about life under Marco Rose so far? No wins in the league but a victory in Europe!
Man City, Brentford and Liverpool isn’t exactly easy to be fair…
tom.procter11d ago
No need for panic stations just yet, tricky fixtures and been a bit unlucky. Could do with getting that first league win relatively soon though
dantowen8195112d ago
I think the performances have been better than the results. The issue is far too many late goals and shipping points See the Newcastle game for example. Drew that 2-2 and should’ve been 4-0 up at half time
freddie12d ago
He hasn’t changed too much from Iraola so think it’s not been too bad! Were unlucky with 2 late goals vs City and then another vs Everton! Could very easily have 4 more points at the very least… nothing to worry about IMO

Bournemouth win against Real Sociedad in the club's first-ever European game! Give us your reaction to that win 💪
kyle.dimond16d ago
Even in the sketchy moments you think, to come away with a draw in one of the tougher games would be fantastic. To get the win, just so impressive. Massive moment for Rose too
daviescallum4216d ago
What an incredible football club, nothing but massive admiration and jealousy for all they’re achieving
antonymmartin8417d ago
What a result. Top team Bournemouth. Again, evidence of how strong the PL is compared with La Liga. Outside of Barca and Madrid, it’s an incredibly weak league now

A point on the board but still no win for Marco Rose. What have you made of his time in charge of Bournemouth so far?
daviescallum4222d ago
He’s had a tricky start, and got really unlucky, but seems to have kept Bournemouth playing good stuff
dantowen8195122d ago
Solid. Clearly not that much of a downgrade, if indeed he’s a downgrade at all. Bournemouth will be absolutely fine
Into the next round 💪 How are you feeling after Bournemouth's 4-0 win over Lincoln?!
kyle.archer26d ago
Bournemouth could not have asked for much more from their win over Lincoln. But Gannon-Doak did not have the best night - too often second-guessed himself in the final third.
jonathan.gorrie26d ago
Too obvious to say Christie? Must be nice to not concede an own goal too!

Another late goal conceded 😤 Give us your reaction to Bournemouth's 2-2 draw with Newcastle
jonathan.gorrie29d ago
Unlucky at times but the poor finishing was no doubt as annoying as the late goal concession!

A late equaliser denies Marco Rose a first win in charge of Bournemouth. What did you make of that performance?
kyle.archer32d ago
Bournemouth clearly need to work on defending set-pieces still. Guehi punished their front-loaded zonal marking in Man City's comeback win, and Tarkowski punished Bournemouth for having the wrong players at the back post in Everton's comeback draw.
jonny36d ago
Actually think this is a decent result, Everton look good
callum_boyle36d ago
Disappointing but no need to panic. Big adjustment from Iraola days
A home tie against Lincoln awaits Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup third round. Give us your thoughts!
kyle.archer39d ago
Out of all of the Round 3 ties, Bournemouth arguably got one of the least interesting matches. But given that Bournemouth's European tour starts at the same time, this is perfect for Marco Rose

After reportedly rejecting a £64m bid from Chelsea earlier in the window, Bournemouth have said Alex Scott is not for sale this summer. How important is he to the team?
Man City have also been credited as being interested in the midfielder 🤨
kyle.dimond37d ago
He’s key and I feel like his value is only going to go up. Would be great for Bournemouth to keep hold of him. Absolutely huge
jonathan.gorrie39d ago
So jealous of a team who say their players aren’t for sale and actually mean it 😅
shamanth.jayaram39d ago
I think Chelsea will come back for him late in the window after Enzo joins City. Another £80-90m in the bag for the Cherries

Late heartbreak for Bournemouth 😪 What did you think of Marco Rose's first game in charge?
eoin42d ago
Threw the Game away with a couple of errors, but a promising performance against a solid City
jonathan.gorrie42d ago
Not a disaster but far too passive at the end there!

Our Premier League predictions have landed! Happy with where we've got you Cherries? 👀
kyle.dimond46d ago
I think that’s about fair. Expecting a drop off but still kept a bunch of key players so far and got a good coach in
freddie46d ago
Still think will be pushing Europe! Maybe about 8th/9th
dakir.thanveer47d ago
All depends on Marco Rose. He has that "mid-table club tries to bring in young progressive coach and fails miserably" vibe about him, but it's Bournemouth and their decisions are usually spot on

Top clubs are circling around one of our brightest talents! Would you keep or sell? 👀⬇️

Bournemouth's strongest XI to challenge for Europe again. Have we got it right? 🍒
No Kroupi until later this year!
dantowen8195148d ago
Such a solid side this. Hill was superb last season, might be the most underrated CB in the Prem
kyle.archer54d ago
This is highly likely to be the Bournemouth XI at the start of the season. But it would not be surprising if Adli takes over the LW role, or Kluivert moves out wide for Scott to play a more advanced role with Christie or Cook taking over the deeper role.

With Juanlu Sanchez signed, Bournemouth's summer business looks done! Are you happy with the squad ahead of the new season?
What could that 5% be? 👀
freddie58d ago
I still think it’s a little light! Not fully convinced by Evanilson and with Kroupi out, think more firepower is needed in the forward areas
kyle.archer59d ago
If Cook, Adams and Christie stay fit, there should be enough depth in the centre. But Bournemouth will need Adli and Gannon-Doak to make a step up to improve their left-wing output, and also need to see Soler progress to rotate with Truffert in at least the cups.
dantowen8195159d ago
I’ve been a big fan of Juanlu in the past. Not sure he’s an upgrade on Alex Jimenez but still a very exciting addition nonetheless Less convinced about Alvaro Rodriguez though - but still the squad looks as strong as last season

This Bournemouth XI SMASHED Genoa 10-1! Bar the goalkeeper, how far off is this from their best side? 🤔
Where do you think additions are needed?
kyle.archer61d ago
Only six of those players are starters. Dennis, Diakite and Toth are not close to the first XI. Gannon-Doak will be on the bench. Aarons will be third-choice at right-back (if he is even still at the club).
ishaan.bhattacharya61d ago
Genoa is claiming it was a mixed practice and not a friendly lmaooo
freddie61d ago
Need a proper No.10 and then Tav back in the team and then it’s pretty good!
DONE DEAL! 😍 Rate the signing of Antonio Silva between 1 and 10
markmarston63d ago
Bournemouth just know what they are doing don’t they…. Probably be sold to Real Madrid two years lol
jonathan.gorrie64d ago
8. Brilliant move from Bournemouth
🚨 Our star man Junior Kroupi is going to be sidelined for some time after surgery. How do we replace him?
jonny67d ago
Should have taken 100m for him last month 😅
kyle.archer67d ago
Will Marco Rose let Enes Unal be allowed to play more than the final 10 minutes in a Premier League game now, unlike Andoni Iraola?
markmarston67d ago
Time for Rodriguez to step up… get him in ya FPL teams 👀

Bournemouth are showing an interest in NEOM centre-back Nathan Zeze 🌟
The France under-21 international is also wanted by Everton and Palace.
james.brooke67d ago
Dont understand why he ever went to Saudi
kyle.archer68d ago
Hardly a huge vote in confidence for Milosavljevic that Bournemouth could be looking at a young CB without a great early-career record
markmarston68d ago
Does this mean the Antonio Silva deal is off??

🇧🇷 Bournemouth say Rayan is NOT for sale! Where could Bournemouth finish if the Brazilian, Alex Scott and Junior Kroupi all stay?
kyle.archer70d ago
Top eight should be the target in the Prem with a European tour to enjoy
dantowen8195170d ago
I don’t see any reason why they can’t challenge for 6th. Presuming Kroupi and Rayan both continue to develop at the same speed, they could get 25 Prem goals beteeen them

One signing so far and VERY few rumours… are you worried about Bournemouth’s lack of transfer activity? 🤔
Surely they need to be backing the new boss?
amirmir72d ago
Keeping hold of their big players is more important than new signings. They need to bulk up the bench more than anything else.
kyle.archer72d ago
The priority at Bournemouth is keeping hold of Kroupi and Scott. Having Kluivert back fit is also a big boost upfront.
dantowen8195172d ago
I hope Bournemouth aren’t just assuming that past success when losing key players doesn’t guarantee a successful future… One bad season is all it can take in an ultra-competitive Prem
Antonio Silva has agreed personal terms with Bournemouth! How do you rate him as a replacement for Marcos Senesi? 🇵🇹
dantowen8195175d ago
I mean, silva was being talked about as an £80m defender a few years back 😂my suspicion is that Bournemouth have ‘done it again’
kyle.archer76d ago
Bournemouth could have done a lot worse than Silva (a 22-y/o with Champions League experience, who also captained Benfica at times last season).
✍️ Alex Scott has REJECTED a new contract... What should Bournemouth now do with the midfielder?
kyle.archer76d ago
Bournemouth will no doubt have a replacement lined up already for Scott but they should still keep him for the 2026/27 season. He’s such a key player at Dean Court and so many key names have already left… Bournemouth cannot be relying on Tavernier…
peter.lynch76d ago
Sell him to Liverpool please… although he’ll probs go for over £100 mil in today’s market 🫠🫠🫠
markmarston76d ago
Take the highest bid this summer I reckon.. £70m ?
Bournemouth have signed Elche striker Alvaro Rodriguez... what would be an acceptable goal return this season? ⚽️
jamie.brown8280d ago
Replacement for Kroupi??? Bring him to Spurs!!! 👀
harveyleonard9980d ago
Looks like good business but curious to see what role he plays first season. Can’t imagine he’s gonna be their leading man
kyle.dimond80d ago
Know nothing about him and goal tally depends on what happens with their other forwards. If they end up stay, he’ll benefit from not having big expectations to live up t
Antonio Silva has had the ‘Here we go soon’ from Romano! He’s 22 (CB) but very experienced, 17 clean sheets last season with Benfica… think he looks decent! What else is needed this summer?
dantowen8195181d ago
They were talking about £85m for Antonio silva a few years back! Either he’s gonna be a revelation or he was never as good as people made him out to be
freddie81d ago
Can’t see either going, gonna demand over £100m easily for both! No one will pay that even tho they are better than some of the players going for that price, like Tonali
jameslloyd14.jl81d ago
Probably another winger, but the main priority should be holding onto the likes of Kroupi and Alex Scott
Bournemouth have released their new kit and it's certainly causing a stir! What are your thoughts? 👀
markmarston87d ago
😭absolutely dreadful… would’ve been a beautiful number as well. Why can’t they just redo the sponsor quickly and get it back in stores
james.brooke87d ago
Ooooof that is a stinker. Sponsorless will be in demand I reckon 😭
freddie87d ago
Yh that’s hideous! Bournemouth usually get things right… they haven’t here 🤣🤣🤣
Some random stats & facts about Bournemouth:
markmarston89d ago
Bournemouth’s stadium is the smallest ground (11,300) in the PL but it once staged a remarkable friendly vs Real Madrid in 2013. In the 1960s, Bournemouth’s inside-forward Alan Hope legally changed his name to Alan O’Neill because he liked the American TV show The Aldrich Family. The club’s very first pro player earned 30 shillings (£1.50) a week.
AFC Bournemouth’s 2026/27 fixtures have been released! What’s your immediate verdict, Cherries fans? 🍒
dantowen81951107d ago
City away feels like a good chance to cause an early shock, put Maresca under pressure from day one
How do you feel about Andoni Iraola being appointed as the new Liverpool manager? 🤔
dantowen81951122d ago
He deserves it. This is just the reality of a club in Bournemouth’s position - they will lose guys like Iraola but it without providing that pathway people of his ilk wouldn’t have arrived at the Vitality in the first place
callum_boyle122d ago
I don’t think Bournemouth fans will be too upset. He did a brilliant job and will get lots of respect when he returns
Find it hard to buy into the Bournemouth love affair. Yes they have a small ground and yes they nearly went out of business all those years ago but dig deeper and they’ve been bankrolled for a while now. ‘Minnows’ don’t go out spending £40m on strikers. Having said that, they’re an incredibly entertaining side to watch
eoin124d ago
They're one of the best recruiting clubs in the sport, just look at kroupi and Rayan (25m) and Kroupi (12m) in the past 12 months, will realistically earn them 150-200m when they decide to sell. Huijsen from 15-50, it's extraordinary how good they are in the market. Not sure id equate it to being bankrolled by an owner with limitless cash
seanfisher124d ago
They deserve credit for being a well-run club, though. They’ve had to sell several key players yet their recruitment of managers and players has been great
kyle.dimond124d ago
I’ve found it easier to root for them after they sold so many key players in recent times and got even better.
What a manager Antonio Iraola turned out to be. But how worried should fans be now that he has gone ? Marco Rose looks like a shrewd hire, as he is well-regarded and, like Iraola, adopts intense, aggressive and high-energy tactics. But Iraola will be a hard act to follow.
kyle.dimond124d ago
Definitely a hard act to follow and would’ve been really excited to see what he could do with one more season and holding on to his stars. Very interested to see how they get on with Rose
vatsal125d ago
My hot take is that Rose will crash and burn Iraola jumped at the top Squad gets stretched in Europe and they finish bottom half. Rose won't be the manager this time next season
dale.odonnell125d ago
It’s a tough ask, but Bournemouth should take inspiration from Brighton even though that’s an overused cliche. Just in how they didn’t buckle after managerial changes. Marco Rose would be an intriguing appointment.
What a great season for Bournemouth - record finish and Europe to look forward to next season. The owner came under fire for ruthlessly ditching Gary O’Neil - but how vindicated does he look now ?! Doe this prove that owners have to be decisive and unemotional to succeed ?
kyle.dimond124d ago
I probably would have been against O’Neil leaving if I was a Bournemouth but credit where it’s due, they got it right. Still a big risk that I don’t think is right for every club though
eoin124d ago
If Bournemouth continue to recruit as effectively as they have and get this appointment right, they could be a team that challenges for Europe every year
dale.odonnell125d ago
Went down a better route, but every appointment and signing is a risk. The owner needs to be decisive, always.

Is this the best combined Bournemouth XI in Premier League history?
kyle.dimond124d ago
Is it too early to put Kroupi in if you’re judging on the level of performance rather than consistency over time?
dantowen81951124d ago
I actually like the addition of Fraser. At his peak, one of Bournemouth’s best in the Prem. I’d put Kerkez, Lerma and Huijsen in though. Can’t split Ake and Senesi
dale.odonnell125d ago
I came here is expecting more Joshua King comments.

What's a realistic goal next season?
kyle.dimond124d ago
Top half of the table
dantowen81951124d ago
There will be a drop off, simply because Europa football means so many more matches. I think top 12 - and a good European run - would be excellent
markmarston125d ago
I think it’s going to be a drop off from sixth… which is understandable. Anything below 8th would feel a little underwhelming. There’s a lot of growth in this young team so I can see them getting Europa again. Imagine Kroupi after another year of development… could bang in 20 league goals 🎯

You have free rein, who do you want Bournemouth to sign? And why?
markmarston125d ago
I think PL experience to help the younger lads… could they get Sarr out of Palace?
charlesjones125d ago
Bring back Huijsen. He’s struggling at Madrid
lrandall1210125d ago
Nevermind a signing, they need to keep Kroupi
Which player has stood out to you the most this season?
markmarston125d ago
Scott… future England starter 🏴
josh.barker125d ago
Kroupi, best business this summer would be keeping him
charlesjones125d ago
Semenyo, even though he left in January, a class above
