After reportedly rejecting a £64m bid from Chelsea earlier in the window, Bournemouth have said Alex Scott is not for sale this summer. How important is he to the team?
Man City have also been credited as being interested in the midfielder 🤨

He’s key and I feel like his value is only going to go up. Would be great for Bournemouth to keep hold of him. Absolutely huge

So jealous of a team who say their players aren’t for sale and actually mean it 😅

I think Chelsea will come back for him late in the window after Enzo joins City. Another £80-90m in the bag for the Cherries

Is he really THAT good? I know he’s key for Bournemouth but is he good enough to warrant such a fee and produce at a big club?

Yeah fair play. He's integral to them.

Could easily be a £100m asset in a year or two! Great player

He’s a sensational player and given the market for midfielders this summer Bournemouth shouldn’t be selling for less then £100m especially this late in the window

Absolutely crucial that they keep him this late in the window. An incredibly talented player who's value will continue to rise as long as he stays fit. Could see him going for 100+ in January or next summer.

He would be irreplaceable this stage in the Window. He is central to the high energy attacking philosophy Rose plays. Trouble is that he has two years left on his contract, and won’t re-sign - so his current value is at a peak. But if they are offered £80m, Bournemouth might yet be tempted.

Even more important now than he was earlier in the window because finding a replacement will be difficult now. Fantastic player with super potential.

Alex Scott is the heatbeat of the Bournemouth team now. If Chelsea want him, they should think about doubling their rejected bid just to try to start the conversation

You simply cannot allow a player like this to leave at this stage of the window. I know Bournemouth have been good at replacing players but this would be a real blow

He’s Bournemouth’s best player (there’s a lot of them) and it doesn’t surprise me he’s being linked with moves. Actually think he’s better off staying for at least another year. He’s in England squad conversations and another good year drives his price up. Could easily become a £100m player in this market

He’s massive, even if I suspect Bournemouth have a very exciting replacement lined up just in case Feels like Scott is better off staying now anyway. Wait until next summer and get the A-list clubs chasing you
