Fair comment. But I think the fans reaction was more aimed at management rather than the players. It was just frustration. Win today and it's a great start. UTFT

Yes Robi. The fans frustration definitely aimed at the Transfer Prevention Team we have at Everton. But the knock on effect of the fans reaction may have led to current players thinking that fans don't think they are good enough. All players need to feel loved to be at their best. We have to make them all feel loved 👍

I remember a comment on the Spurs Amazon series years ago when Ben Davies said something along the lines of ‘fans need to give players time to develop’ instead of constantly demanding more signings (which is true). But think Everton fans have every right to be frustrated when they’re left with ONE striker till Jan

I prefer people to tell it like it is, rather than bu11sh1t. The negative press & comments by fans could indeed have had an adverse affect on the current players. We have had bigger squads in the recent past, but not the quality we have now. Sometimes, small is beautiful! I understand exactly what KDH meant & I agree with him

I do fully agree with you on this and think you make a good point. I’d say I reckon the fans are fully behind the set of players currently at the club, but if you can’t have a whinge about the striker situation then when can you? Think fans are happy for Barry to be starting striker but reality is he needs backup

We are a negative bunch, but I think wholly justified on this occasion. We’ve been so screwed over by the owners and recruitment team & deserved more. Just a typical hit piece on EFC and our fans from mainstream media, nothing new there. They’ve done it over god knows how many years to keep us downtrodden and accepting mediocrity
