Name your biggest hope and fear for the MVP and PFL merger

I truly hope they prosper but Jake needs to stop doing interviews in the ring after fights(as a promoter) when hes drunk. Its very unprofessional and his vamping makes me cringe. My fear is they will spend too much money on gimmicks, trying to catch up overnight and the money well runs dry. The gimmicks are fun once a year but not every week

My hope is that they get rid of Jake Paul, send him packing. My fear is that the promotion fails bc of lack of great fights

I am s huge MMA fan and just a fan of combat sports in general. I listen to combat sports podcasts all day at work. I say that to say I had literally no idea whatsoever this fight was taking place. He needs to work on promoting these things because if I didn't know there are guaranteed to be a shitload of more people that didn't either

Hope it bites the dust

WHY WOULD ANY IDIOT, pull for anyone like paul to succeed, he’s out on fixed fights(Tyson) beaten by only 2 real boxers he faced,& still brags. He’s a cocky, cheating ,pos( read up on some of his past antics)I hope dana white & UFC wipe them (& that thug wannabe boxer, nganouu.

What are you complaining about? If MVP has some success and Jake Paul treats the fighters very well and pays them properly, what is the downside? Please explain.

You're brain dead if you don't pull for Paul. The main thing that matters is the way he treats his fighters. And from what I can see so far he's a stand up guy that way. Maybe because he's a fighter and not a suit like Dana

I really hope they can push the UFC. Forced them to be better and improve the sport overall. Fear is we get regular PFL with a few freak fights billed as PPV events

Biggest fear is that they'll be a " novelty fight" promotion that people won't take seriously, like the Paul brothers boxing. My hope is that they'll be serious and give MMA fighters a chance to earn what they should be earning.

Damn My biggest fears are sharks and heights wanna trade?

My biggest hope is that fighters embrace it as much as fans, and I think fighters will. My biggest fear is that they just continue going how the PFL has, which hasn’t worked.

Painful as it is to give Jake Paul any credit, the UFC desperately need a fire lit under them. An actual heavyweight competitor is the only thing that’s going to force their hand and finally give these fighters some leverage when contract time comes

Big fan of this. Once a brand name becomes associated with negative fan talk like the PFL has, it is facing an uphill battle. MVP MMA has hype behind it after the Netflix event. Exciting times

The biggest hope is that fans actually embrace this so it can become a proper competitor to the UFC. Rising tide lifts all boats. My biggest fear would be that the we get a couple big events each year but most shows continue to go under the radar like the PFL has.

Just can't see anyone surpassing the UFC tbh... but this competition will defo increase fighter pay
