Pretty sure he did quite a bit of striking when he was younger before fully committing to grappling. Still think it’s a scary proposition. At that weight, people are just so well-rounded

I don't think he will be champ, but look at Charles Oliviera, and the Dagastanis, they are great in one area and they developed other areas. He should not rush anything unless he has been training striking for some time.

It’s gonna depend on his striking ability and if he can develop a mean streak or not. His grappling is elite tier even though people think he’s just good at leg kicks. He could make a little noise, but time will tell.

I think he’ll win fights but even his style in jiu-jitsu is not going to lend itself to MMA very well.
