What is your verdict on Carlos Baleba's debut for United? Did you like what you saw?
Which of the upcoming games should Baleba start? Can he save our season?!

I totally agree that the cockroaches and ineos want everything for nothing which is why they don't bite the bullet and go out to get a top class manager and while we fans keep helping them by asking for the likes of Carrick who is totally out of his depth then the cockroach will be very happy they are giving us what we are shouting they can't loose

They should have brought in a manager of class willing to take Carrick on as assistant, which is what they should have done with Ole. But class costs money & a class mgr will want plyrs & its a fact Glazers wont put their hand in their pockets & INEOS r 19 bill in debt & sjr had is fortune halved to 13 bill. Wat class mgr will walk into that scenario

Class. Exactly what was needed. Can't wait to see more from him this season!

He had a great debut with positive signs of improving the midfield. I think a partnership with Kobe will be perfect for the team.

Game-changer for me. Will need time, but it's what we've been missing.

At least he ran and pressed and ran again
adnan.riaz3w ago
The bare minimum. Imagine that in 2026? Haha. Sums it up really.

The whole team should be pressing with tempo. They are stealing a wage at the moment. I am ex-army, and if I put that effort in I would have been beaten by everyone around me. How on earth can these people look themselves in the mirror? I also ask the same regarding Michael Carrick. He is an embarrassment. I had such hope after last season

The verdict here Carrick not trying different options and stat makes Tieleman nd several players look like the fault He needs to get his combination right unless it just a matter of time before MAN UTD JOB OFF HIM
adnan.riaz3w ago
His lack of variety is really telling. Like, what was the point in Santos if we are not going to play him?
stephenjholmes13w ago
I have been severely underwhelmed by MC this season. I thought he was going to build on last season. He doesn't have the bottle for a top job. I am gutted, but he has already gone past his sell by date.
theworm3w ago
I'm just saying in essence if we need to run we gonna need someone to play the ball through Youri's legs always flat-footted on that one
stephenjholmes13w ago
I was hoping even if Carlos didn't get a start, Santos would have. Too keep playing a failing partnership, and expecting different outcomes isn't the work of a class manager. Michael needs to be proactive in games. Lenny was a good shout on the right (his best position) Lacey should have been in, and ditch Euri.
ericisgod663w ago
I thought he was a little rusty but his energy lifted the team. He had a very good debut that promises so much more once he is match fit. Was still my united player of the game

As fans we have seen it season after season. We have a decent one, one we believe is the cornerstone to a new beginning and that second season goes backwards...why? What is being said that leads to a TEAM performing as shades of what they are capable off. Do they get told "well the owners are happy if we finish 3rd or 4th & a decent run in the cups"
marshwire13w ago
He was the only positive last night
dancoombs3w ago
Yes, I think he has to start in the next game vs Atletico
epi2media3w ago
A very decent cameo! Him and Cunha were the only players prepared to take on the 'galacticos' of mighty Tottenham...To think that United are being outplayed and outrun by every team is shocking. For some reason -just like Amorin - MC thinks passing backwards and camping outside your goal area wins u games😮And Martinez, oh dear oh dear!
dancoombs3w ago
I thought Martinez was relatively sharp at the start but his concentration gets worse as the game goes on

In my view Tielemans was shockingly bad and should have been replaced prior to HT. Replacing Tielemans on 20 minutes would not have been unwarranted. On that basis, Baleba needs to own that place for now. Also I spare a thought for Santos. Did not understand the purchase, which is more baffling now.
stephenjholmes13w ago
I said before the game that Tilemans needed to be dropped. I wonder who keeps making the decisions to play him and Dalot! I was pleased for Lenny, as I believe rb is his best position.
dancoombs3w ago
A strong half hour from him. His shooting could do with improving though! If he is fit enough, I would start him vs Atletico and Leeds
stephenjholmes13w ago
A marked upgrade on Tilemans
pierrelekat0013w ago
He was aweful

Another player who only looks good for Brighton in my opinion. Won’t live up to the hype, but he at least has an engine which Mainoo/Tielemans do not
