Michael Carrick has responded to Bruno Fernandes' comments

Fernandes is right. The coaching department is frustrating the players, and if that's shared amongst the majority of them, Manchester United is dead. That's a plausible view than Martinez blaming management/ owners even for losses to less talented teams

Carrick's mentality is of a small club. Bruno and co want to press man for man but michael won't let them because he's not brave. [How can your players run forward if the ball is always with your opponent and your game plan is to just jog around with no intention of winning the ball.]

We might just as well used the academy players bevause this group of player alawsys tried to get the manager shacked…

I think all players except Lemment seemed unwilling to play or they just can not cope with the opponent style of play.. this is embarassing. The summer recruits looks mediocre to me. Why Santos.,? Che never played him, why Tieleman he is aging and not special, why Baleba..? We now he is injured… I just dont know what to say antmore..

I rate the response. For all the uproar Martinez’s comments got from some members of the media, I think what Fernandes is worse. Not that he isn’t entitled to his opinion. I just feel this is counterproductive and his body language on the pitch was very poor. There’s no getting away from the fact United haven’t been good enough.

I agree with Carricks comment but who gives them the fitness program.Also,these players kill managers,they play when it suits and most of the time,the players can't be assed.Inept board,awful management,players play the blame game,we need more than just a new manager.

Reckon Carrick is gone if he loses at the weekend.
