We need you to settle the debate🔊 Who should Justin Gaethje defend his belt against next and why?

Arman Tsarukyan seems undeniable, but Ilia Topuria has recently ruffled feathers👀

roncotey1d ago

Justin should fight (what's his name) again. I do think the former champ needs another "truck load" of humble pie. His attitude displays he didn't get enough, the first time around. When the "Highlight" turns out his lights again, two beautiful things will happen. Firstly, NO ONE can cry lucky, foul..... Then Justin can retire with another 15 - 20 mill

I don’t think Gaethje should come back if it’s for the Ilia fight. You’re never gonna top that first win. I understand him fighting again if it’s Arman.

Arman.

What would your reaction be if the UFC booked Justin Gaethje vs. Charles Oliveira 2?😬

roncotey1d ago

No title shot for Olivera. Iiiface or Arman, only deserving contenders. Who wouldn't love watching Justin give the arrogant asshole another face job !

ericlomax804d ago

I think Charles for sure should be in the talk, but I think everyone is over looking Paddy wants a rematch and Justin has agreed that he will give him one.

Charles is history....PERIOD

Is Quillan Salkilld ready for the top five?

After dominating Mateusz Gamrot and submitting him inside a round, is the Australian the real deal?

ericlomax804d ago

Give him a top 5 and let’s see if he’s really ready!

jordan.ellis57d ago

I say one more before he goes to the top 5. Moicano/Ortega winner makes sense.

harvey.leonard57d ago

Absolutely. You beat Gamrot like that and you're as legit as they come

Predict Salahdine Parnasse's UFC career! Can he go all the way to the top? 🤔

The former KSW double champion will debut against Dan Hooker in the UFC Paris 🇫🇷 main event.

jordan.ellis65d ago

Hooker is a good measuring stick. Really anyone who is legit has ran through him. Gotta do that before we talk about titles or anything else.

jamie.theodosi66d ago

No doubt a great fighter but I don’t see him being champion over the likes of Arman and maybe Ilia again.

aml66d ago

He will retire Hooker that’s for sure

How would you matchmake the lightweight top five after UFC 329? 👀

Paddy Pimblett 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 has risen 4 spots following his submission over Benoit Saint-Denis.

esmagicman82d ago

I'd book Justin vs Max for the title. Their last fight was an all-time great and with Max holding that recent knockout win over Justin it makes sense that Justin would want to get that one back. Then I'd do Paddy vs Ilia. That fight sells itself and they both have recent losses to Justin. Then that leaves Arman and Charles.

kyle.dimond82d ago

This is actually quite hard to book IMO. With Justin and Max not wanting to fight until 2027, could do Arman vs Charles 2 and Paddy vs Ilia depending on when Topuria is back. It's difficult to see what is next for Max after the Charles loss and the weird McGregor win.

What's next for Dan Hooker following back-to-back losses?

harvey.leonard178d ago

Feels like it'll be rinse and repeat. Get a win over lower-ranked opposition. Lose to the better lightweights. Go again.

kyle.dimond179d ago

Still a lot of fun fights for him. Rafael Fiziev feels like a matchup we need to see at some point.

Who is the most underrated fighter in the lightweight division and why?

Defend your pick in the comments below.

harvey.leonard186d ago

Fares Ziam doesn't get the attention he deserves, but that could change soon. People sleep on Gamrot and Fiziev after their recent losses but they're both elite

jamie.theodosi186d ago

My bias is gonna say Rafael Fiziev. I think because of his recent losses he's not very highly rated but I think his style is one of the most exciting in the sport.

kyle.dimond186d ago

The most underrated might be Gamrot because his style isn't that attractive. I know it was a very close fight but he beat Arman.
