Will Raul Rosas Jr. become the youngest champion in UFC history?

The bantamweight prospect, who turns 22 in October, is targeting a record set by Jon Jones when he won UFC gold at 23 years and 242 days old.

seabright052d ago

No

harvey.leonard10d ago

Definitely not. Wouldn't shock me if he loses to Barcelos. He's not championship calibre

jordan.ellis11d ago

I think this weekend will make or break his chances. Beat Barcelos and Rosas is top 10. Lose and it would take a miracle for him to be champion in the next 2 years.

Fact is major indiscretions are normally going to encroach on your career. Specially when he was supposed to be the champion. Not a good role model. Aspinall is a million of this guy. Look how badly tho Dana and ufc has treat him in comparison. Ufc is a brilliant sport. Most fighters are absolute warriors. But few spoil it and ufc is run by gangsters.

leoraider072775d ago

Aspinall is a coward and and a big oaf who got lucky he didn't have to fight jones and got given a free title first real taste of a fighter with any discipline innhis style he tires out in one minute and ciryl gane woukdve made a clown show of him if it had went on but instead aspinall saw a way I ut and took it its why he is still no

UFC isn't a sport, it's a promotion. The sport in which it promotes is MMA.

The KING of kings.. JON JONES

robmak7380d ago

Your knowledge on the sport is very limited. If you knew more you would realise how ignorant that comment is. Unless u think kings are the bad people they really are. Most kings are there by killing and other atrocities

Oleksandr Usyk vs Jon Jones - Who wins?

According to The Ring Magazine, Jon Jones is being lined up as a potential opponent for Oleksandr Usyk's final fight

newcombzack34d ago

Can Jones kick Usyk in the face ?

wats.la80d ago

Only interested in this if Usyk returns the favour and gives Bones' a fair one in the Octagon. Usyk needs to rematch Rico

kyle.dimond93d ago

Yeah, no interest in seeing this. Usyk all day. It should be a rematch with Rico and no other option.

Who wins a fantasy fight between Jon Jones and Muhammad Ali?

Dana White reckons that Jones 'tears him apart' - do you agree?

feedthefatrabbit74d ago

Jones would kill him. Ali would box Jon's face off in a ring, though.

aeboyles94d ago

Ridiculous question. Not even the same sport. Answering this is below anyone's dignity and IQ.

Is Jon Jones right to be angry about how his UFC career has seemingly ended — or is he reaping what he sowed? 🤔

Leave your thoughts on Jones' UFC White House snub in the comments!

akioisis2375d ago

Coke and cheating on his wife. Still going strong.

kskmah79d ago

He could have fought Tom and then he could have fought at the WH. He said no to both. Why is he mad at anyone else? He's the one who retired. Lmao.

barrystjohn6879d ago

He retired because he did not have the guts to face Aspinall....talk about being two faced. Tom called him a duck for refusing to face him, I would really say Chicken is a far better word to describe him.....

Fight Aspinal or retire

barrystjohn6879d ago

Agreed!!!!

dr.cheyno209d ago

No one can fight Aspinall. He's out of action since the Gane fight and still hasn't returned to full contact training. Jones retired and only wanted back in when the white house card was announced.

Tell us what you think about Jon Jones.

Is it time for him to retire, or should he fight again in 2026?

oldnhbfreak79d ago

Who is better Jones or Aspinall? Let's get back to that question in 2038 if Aspinall is still fighting. Then he has been in the ufc as long as Jones. Can he fight top fighters for that long as Jones has done?

rissewadam90d ago

It is beyond debate. Jon Jones is absolutely the GOAT. He puts on a show every time. He makes me proud to be from Rochester, NY. Please come back and fight! We need you like Tito needed Michael Jackson! Always the GOAT to me.

sanderssirleaf94d ago

THI BEST EVER. Period

Is Dana White right to block a potential Jon Jones vs Alex Pereira fight?

jacksondemetrius12795d ago

Jon Jones is the best to ever do it. Everyone has to retire at some point. Tom Aspinal is good but who has he beaten to make you think he can beat Jones? I'm not saying he can't but where is the body of work. Bud Crawford went thru the same thing in the ring it was an excuse everytime he beat somebody. I dont care what Jones did outside the ring.

33plusman239d ago

Jones, once a phenom, is now old news. Let him fade into the sunset and quit trying to relive his former glory. Dana was right. He cannot be trusted.

russianroulette3715242d ago

Impossible !! Alex will need 3 years to gain weight and move up to HW division. So Jonnie boy, please be patient 😅

Are you surprised to see so many fans choose Tom Aspinall over Alex Pereira for Jon Jones' comeback fight? 🤔

harvey.leonard268d ago

It's a relief. The fans see Jon Jones' stance on Aspinall for what it is. Ducking!

kyle.dimond280d ago

Not at all. I think, for as great as Alex is, the vast majority of people would favor Jones in that one. Aspinall is a different conversation.

jordan.ellis281d ago

Don't forget Jones literally retired rather than make $30M to fight this guy. Gane giving Tom a bloody nose doesn't change anything.

What's the best win of Jon Jones' career?

jamie.theodosi265d ago

His win over Cormier deffo. If not for Jones, Cormier would've likely been the greatest LHW of all time.

jordan.ellis269d ago

First Cormier win. Second even more impressive but we can't count.

kyle.dimond280d ago

Beating Cormier at UFC 182. That fight is up there as one of the highest level fights the sport has ever seen and 'Bones' was incredible

Will Dana White change his mind on Jon Jones fighting at the White House?

jordan.ellis275d ago

100% Jones is fighting on that card, Dana just wants him to sweat.

kyle.dimond280d ago

I think he will. I think Trump will want it to happen and Jones will listen, unless they want him to face Aspinall

harvey.leonard280d ago

If Jones doesn't fight at the White House it won't be because Dana doesn't trust him. No chance he lets that get in the way of a big money fight.

Pereira is too light for jones

kyle.dimond305d ago

It's certainly very hard to overlook the size difference and grappling in that matchup.
